Truthornothin's Ursobolic Log The Whole Truth and Nothing But the Truth!

Nice workout. What would you say your avg daily calorie intake would be? Looks to me like you like to keep fats and protein high. While you do a more moderate carb intake.
Yes I generally worry very little about how much fat and protein I eat, if fact one of the few things I haven't been logging down is my natty peanut butter intake ...because its a habit and I don't think about it. I go through two to three jars a week I grab a spoonful .... often. Anyway headed for work in a few, I'll grab the calorie counter and try to put a number to the opening diet and the current. How's that ?

Well considering your screen name it would be mandatory to tell the truth ;) I'm still in for the log and the results

I think it should be mandantory anyway. I appreciate your vote of confidence and your saying it with rep power. Thanks

wasnt questioning your honesty and integrity, just wanted to double check its an unbiased and legit log, and as you say its the whole truth and we have your word.
2300cals for maintenence, thats low, is that with your workout routine and daily activitys?

Ok that's a good thing because that is a sure way to get me ticked. Its legit, and will be to the end. No that's baseline resting, but you have to understand I sit behind a computer all day at my day job, so my physical activity it low. This sounds funny but we are only allowed to get up to use the restroom and even then its timed. So my calorie consumption during the day is small. My workouts are short and intense and only work out two days on one off, sometimes three on and one off on special occasions. I truly do not do cardio. I am considering doing a show in April so that may change, but only for the contest. Since my activity level is low and I hate cardio my calorie consumption is lower than you'd expect. I log everything, I know at what point I start adding fat and I am telling you I am eating over and above that point. No fat added. And thats the truth :)

actually I dont really count calories either. I take in .8g/LB of protein, eat carbs when I feel I need then and eat fat when I need more food... But sadly im not nearly as ripped as you lol.

i maintain weight at approx 25-2600cals daily with workouts

i am interested to use UA to help me get down 3-5lbs of fat without dropping cals or adding cardio
then its time for me to grow! (i wish to be a little leaner before gaining)

have any of the studys from the iowa study in the cell metabolism journal been done on humans or were all the reults from the tests done on rats?

I believe you posted this in the other thread already and it got answered...

Good anger fueled workout. I am going to shoot straight I fully expected some would question me on the veracity of my log once I was made a rep. I give you my solemn word that I am reporting exactly as I am experiencing that is one of the reasons I enclose pics. I try to take the same poses in the same light. If anything I am more pale and this hides my cuts. I have enjoyed and hope to continue to enjoy this log and I promise to live up to my moniker and tell you the truth about it. Hope you guys are still on board and anyway I think I smell troll just sayin'[/QUOTE]

Still following the TRUTH....I with ya Man

It was mice Invalid Link Removed I am not losing weight it is the same I am eating more which is nice. I don't mind answering questions but with 21 posts and 16 of those on either my log or in the ursobolic thread I am becoming disinclined to answer too many more from you Especially since you keep asking the same questions once they've been answered. It just looks very trollish to me

I try to get in between 150 and 200 grams of protein a day, if finances allow. I do not count calories at all, I just watch the carbs especially the processed sugary ones. That works for me but every one's body and metabolism is different you have to find the combo that works for you. Unfortunately, when you are trying to get lean and stay lean, less is more.

Yup, and if you know your body you are in the best place to be :)

Thanks, everyone is looking for the magic bullet, this stuff is definitely helping but I can definitely eat myself fat if I so chose. Never understood those people that say they cannot gain weight. The complain of no appetite. Damn I can eat good food at any time and lots of it ....if I didn't worry about it, but I worry about it

Observations, nothing new to report still increasing calories little by little and still unaffected and surprisingly no weight gain. That's the truth any questions? Ask away. I'll count my calories this weekend and post I am just too tired and busy to undertake that endeavor right now

You do an incredible amount of volume for someone that is not on cycle. You also rest almost every third day so I suppose it evens out to an extent.

Do you mind if I ask how much citrulline malate you are taking?

I don't always do so much volume and I thinking my new training partner will have me backing off a bit. I know I am doing too much but the gym is my stress relief and lately life has been very stressful. Two on one off allows me to do it without too much adverse effect.

The Citruline Malate I do 5 grams per day sometimes more if I have a lot, it works. I was introduced to it with Pats product STAMINO2 I used that until it was discontinued then switched to bulk powder. Hope that helps

Yes, I remember StaminO2 quite well... went through many many bottles of that stuff. I've been using citrulline malate on and off ever since.

I know how effective it can be at increasing one's capacity to do high volume, which is why I was curious about how much you were taking. 5g is actually a pretty conservative dose, but it seems to be doing the trick for you.

Oh wow 5gs? Hmm I should up my dose I think. I've been taking only ba and cre recently. Gotta add in cm on my next bulk order. ;)

Yeah that product was well named. It was stamina in a bottle. I was dating a runner, I as previously stated do not do cardio. She wanted me to go for a run on the beach with her. I took a hefty dose of Stamino2, we went running an I kept up with her for 2 miles with no problem. I have taken 10 grams a day with good effect but my finances and supplement choice now have me cutting some supps to the minimum effective dose. Damn economy

It is an inexpensive workout booster for sure, I wish Stamino2 was still out there oh well

fair enough i will post appropriately in either thread, i like to ask i like to find out, if i repeat myself i apologise but getting a straight forward answer isnt always easy at times.
a troll?! wtf

Are you still getting and looking leaner and looking fuller/more pumped or could the cell volumisation be off the carb increase do you think?

I was inclined to suspect that you had an agenda when something like 8 of your first 10 posts were basically just repeating the concerns over fertility. Another supp company could quite conceivably use sock-puppet accounts to create/propagate negative perceptions of the product using such tactics. I now believe you're just an interested and inquisitive customer.

Your right henry, no agenda at all nothing like that, just a natural trainer very interested in the ursobolic and its proposed body composition effects, but was/am a little dubious as to its effects on fertility although studies were done on rats and not on humans, still interested to try it for 4-5wks, and this log is interesting as to the products effects.

If Henry's convinced then so am I. It did seem odd though

Truth:

Fantastic log! Was searching web for more info on Ursobolic, specifically dosing information. My first three bottles supposed to arrive Thursday! Very excited, after reading your log!

I am most concerned with your comments about sweating and feeling hot. I note someone else was only doing 6 capsules a day, didn't seem to feel the same sweating. I am naturally inclined to feel hot, so this worries me a little.

So, I will probably start with 6 a day on a Saturday, see how I do over the weekend.

Keep up the great log, I hope I can come close to your results!

The sweating has subsided somewhat and I am hot natured like yourself. I cannot wear long sleaves inside I roast. I'd recommend the 3x3 dosing protocol. Be sure to take it with/after (I take with) meals containing some fat for best absorption. Stay tuned in, I'll keep posting

Day 15

Took 3 caps 3 times over the course of the day

Nutrition:

Breakfast:

4 whole eggs
50 grams oats
8 oz V-8 juice
1 cup whole milk
1 large slice baklava

Mid Morning:

50 Grams Whey Protein
30 grams of walnuts
30 grams oat starch
1 pack keebler snack crackers 250 calories

Mid afternoon:
50 Grams Whey protein
50 Grams of Oat Starch
1 Pack of the aforementioned snack crackers

Pre Workout:

2 servings White Flood
1 serving Purple Wraath

Post Work Out:

50 Grams of protein
30 grams oat starch

Snack:
30 grams dark chocolate and 3 tablespoons natty peanut butter

Dinner:

350 grams Grilled Chicken
200 grams Beans with tomatoes cheese and olive oil(made tons again )
1 small baked sweet potato

Observations: I am going to clarify a few things since today is my day off the gym. My new training partner follows my log and asked a question that none of you have asked me. Why for the two middle of the day meals to I do a shake instead of something more real. I work in a place that is very strict, I do not get a lunch break only 2 15 minute breaks. Ever try to consume 50 grams of protein in the form of chicken or beef not easy. So I drink those two and still get my protein, the nuts are for satiety.

I do not do cardio, never did it...entering a contest in April may do it for the first time in preparation but only if I absolutely have to.

Abs, I work abs less than five minutes 4 times a week. Thats right, people do too many ab exercises instead of a few intensely. I do crunches on the decline chair and I use the ab coaster for the obliques, that's it.

I have added something else to my workouts lately, a training partner. Not just any training partner, A pint sized dynamo of ferocity and intensity, She's tiny but she lifts hard as hell. I guarantee you her intensity would put 98-99% of the guys on here to shame, this little girl is fierce . So we have to change the plates more often:) Shes a good spotter and very motivational. In and out of the gym. My workouts have definitely increased in intensity thanks to her, She pushes me hard. Thats a good thing.

I am still adding calories, now adding junk food to the diet still no ill effects. Still thinking this stuff is doing something wonderful. I love to eat and I love my abs. Looks like maybe I can have abs and eat carbs. Next week I'm adding pasta :)

Haha. Sounds great. Just hope you don't have a gluten intolerance like me... Lol.

Never asked about the food cause I know some ppl that just don't like to eat. I can't understand there thinking but it's all the individual. Two 15min breaks?! That's insane. Mind me asking where you work?

Good on the training partner. I think without one things get dull and motivation drops fast. With that said I don't have a partner. I just have to tell myself every time I lift all the reasons I do it. Lol.

Man I really want some ursobolic. I need to get lean lol.

Mind sharing with us your complete journey sometime? From overweight to shredded? I've been overweight since elementary. Still working on getting lean. But my depressed metabolism and fear to gain an ounce of fat always hurt any progress I have. Only time I made good strength gains was on hdrol. Where I ate like a bodybuilder. Then in pct I was worried with the slight amount of fat I gained and cut away all my gains and ended up weaker... Then had my auto immune skin disorder and my herniated intestine pop out of my belly button... Well let's just say things were horrible. But now I'm doing a bit better. :).

Regardless, I think the subbers would love to hear how you did it. If you don't mind recalling that rough time for us. :)

First off I love to eat, hence the early weight problems I also love to cook, so life is a push pull for me the things I love are opposing energies pulling in opposite directions and need to be put in balance I am hoping that Ursobolic will bring balance to these opposing forces. H=drol is great not to harsh and gains are rapid but alas they don't stay. Sorry to hear about your health issues. I tore my right bicep totally off the bone 2 years ago and that is a story in and of itself. I am more than happy to share my fat to shredded (if you can call me that ) story ... tomorrow as I have to be up at 5:30am for work and its after midnight already and I'm squatting with my training partner at her "hardcore gym" I need my strength, I wasn't kidding when I said she's fierce, can't let her show me up. All kidding aside, I have never found anyone I could stand to train with. Even with the plate changes she is a Joy to train with. So tomorrow Subbers "The Origins of "THE TRUTH" lol Oh as far as my day Job hmm I may wanna talk smack about em' so I better not say :)

Hehe. Cools man. Never cut in pct for sure that's a lesson learned. Good job on finding that partner. Origins of the truth, can't wait!!

Glad you find it interesting, nice avatar

very interesting,
close to purchasing some but not 100% on it yet, i figure 4-5wks cant hurt fertility much if at all, after all the studys were on rats motility of sperm and not humans.
I do like a good natty product that ACTUALLY delivers havnt really come across any yet, im in the process of experimenting with natty t-boosters one by one.
Pams hot, she was recently on UK celeb big b, imagine if she was your mum!

I think for almost all cardio is a neccessary evil for competition, its tough but its worth it, if you compete you WILL enjoy it.

It now seems that your carbs are a decent amount truth wernt they pretty low to start off, id say around 300g per day maybe more?,
what is oat starch like oatmeal/grits?
shame you didnt weigh yourself to start, but i guess you should know if your looking leaner.

Thought I posted it at the outset perhaps not. I have it written down I weighed 204 at the outset, I weigh 203 today. My goals are not at all weight related again I could care less what I weigh. I only care how lean I look. Losing weight was not my goal. I want to eat a lot of food and still look good. That is what I am hoping to get out of this. Oat starch is just that starch derived from oats, google Swedish oat starch, its all right there

That's what Pat said and that is what I've set out to determine. Thus far it proving out to be true. I have increased my carbs and calories substantially no gain in weight or fat.

Origins of The Truth From Corpulence to Cut

Origins of The Truth From Corpulence to Cut

God, I cannot believe that I am writing this. I am not sure if it belongs here but I was asked so here it goes. I was a chubby kid. A book worm, pasty and pale and not prone to any athletic endeavor. I liked to eat. I was the kid that couldn't even do one chin up in middle school which is where it turned around. In 7th grade my dad bought some muscle magazines home. Like most fat kids I was into comic books and here were people who looked like super heroes. This was the 70's so we are talking about Arnold Scwharzenegger, Robby Robinson, Ken Waller, Mike Katz, Serge Nubret and Lou Ferrigno. I wanted to look like that. Could I? all the adds said I could and I ordered some chest expanders, you know with the springs and two handles, and an ab course from the back of the magazine. I made gains and erased my pudgyness. I got my first barbell set in the 9th grade, one of those plastic and concrete arrangements I went through various stages of fitness from good to not so good.

My middle 20's I was big and cut. Disaster stuck in 1994=95. I was in a miserable marriage and working at a miserable job up to 14 hrs a day. I slaked my misery with food. I'd eat 2 foot long Meatball subs at lunch, and chips and cookies. I went through a case of Corn chips(think Costco) and a Cafeteria can of Nacho Cheese a week, washed down with glass after glass of Coke. I was drinking 2 2liters a day. And snacks of every shape size and description

I was preparing to go on a business trip and my pants were too type. I went to the store and what fit me was size 40"waist pants. I held them up in disgust and awe. It was at that moment I decided never again. I went on the Atkins diet when I got home. I was the chief cook in my family the ex was pretty much useless. So I prepared normal food for she and my daughter while I ate the low carb. That made it harder but I was determined. Its a good thing I love eggs. I was eating them by the dozen. I was dedicated and never cheated, I turned those damn ketostix purple every time. I was so far into ketosis. I was so dedicated I chewed up and spit out my birthday cake. I lost 100 pounds in two months from 298 to 198. I worked out too, though not like now. After divorcing my ex I entered the Body for Life Challenge from EAS that was really where my current physique came into view though a smaller version, didn't win but was in the 95th percentile or something like that. I do have the before and afters for that, perhaps I'll scan and post if there is interest.

Now working out is as much a part of my life as breathing. I've learned a lot. My training is much more intense and focused especially lately. You guys see what I eat. My diet is low carb, I do suffer from slight paranoia about getting fat again, well maybe more than slight. I DO NOT WANT TO BE FAT AGAIN!! So in a nutshell that is where I come from if I bored you I am sorry if it wasn't detailed enough, in all honesty it is a part of my life I'd rather forget. I am 46 and in some of the best shape of my life. Its good to rub in the face of the bullies along the way and the people that always picked me last for any sport.

I am happy with my appearance mostly but hey we can always improve. When we stop growing we may as well be dead. "And that's all I have to say about that" as Forest Gump

Thanks for writing this! I must say I was pretty much the same but all I had was in my junior year I could no longer fit into pants that you could buy at the store... I was a size 46".... Had to go to the "Big and Tall" stores... I had no knowledge of weight lifting, I just knew one thing. Eat less food, and you'll lose weight. So i ate less. Still never got lean. Started working out. Fast forward like 12 years and here I am. Not quite so lean yet. Marriage and divorce sounds rough. Specially with kids. Glad you found your happy spot with yourself and your life. Thanks for sharing man! Those pics would be nice lol. Sorry to keep buggin ya. But these logs, and stories really motivate me lol. And since I am here in Japan w/o a TV, my desktop broke so I don't have much computer power to watch movies on my netbook... The only form of happy, feel good drama is on here.... Sad as it sounds it's pretty true I will not lie...
Well to end on a happy note! I know you'll progress great and this new ursobolic might be just what you need to allow you to cheat a little while still staying lean and continue to make some small muscle gains in the gym :D
