For working out - Anywhere from old hardcore punk, Hard Rock, Metal, old school hip-hop...that basically covers it.
Chilling - A bit more laid back...classic rock, blues, old country, reggae, some of the "jam band" stuff. It depends really.
I listen to A LOT of music. I've had a bunch of different "influences" in my life musically. My mom listened to oldies, my dad classic rock. Growing up in the 80's and early 90's I definitely had my hair metal phase. Then I started to run with a different crowd and hit a Rap phase. Then running with a different crowd got me more into heavy metal and country. Then in college I really went all different directions musically (punk, jam band, beach scene music, acoustic rock, reggae) while still maintaining roots in my earlier favorites.
Now I'm a complete mess LOL. You can catch me rocking hard to Jimi Hendrix, then bumping some Wu-Tang Clan or Gangstarr, and moving right along into some David Allan Coe followed by Black Flag.
