WHat do people think about agmatine? And dosing?

Hi
Im looking to use agmatine (NMDA antagonist) to help with depression and stimulant tolerance. What are people's experiences with this compound? And also, i'm trying to figure out what hte correct dosage is. Can anyone help?
 
Well, most people don't use it for the purposes you describe, but people using it for it's other benefits use 500mg+ pre-workout, with their highest carb meal before working out, or splitting the dose with their highest carb meal, and the other dose pre-workout.

this right hurrr, typical doses 500mg-1g....but i havent really seen people using it for the things you listed OP. however, i know a few people who have said they noticed a general improvement in mood when using agmatine on a regular basis

Love me some Agmatine. It also seems to be synergistic with creatine nitrate for some reason.

I don't even need a pre workout now that i pop Agmatine + Green Bulge + carbs about 30 min before my workout, and my workouts are SO much better now.

Heard amazing things about Bulge...love me some agmatine as well. Great SNS caps, or in my Protocol. I end up doing 2 scoops Protocol with breakfast and 2 with dinner, so thats 250mg am/pm, with another 500mg via SNS caps pre-workout if I'm feeling frisky :)

OP, if you decide to use, would be interested in hearing your experience with Agmatine and if it helped in any of the ways you are wanting it to...can't say I've seen any feedback about those attributes per se...more along the lines of pump, vasc., nutrient partitioning, endurance...

i could be totally mistaken, but i could have sworn i remember seeing coop talk about agmatine/mood effects....maybe pass this thread along to him ;)

Quite possible...I'll print the thread off and hang it in the hallway....COOOP!

It does have a nootropic effect:

I got some C4 samples with creatine nitrate and plenty of agmatine. I'm going to have to give this a shot.

OP, there are many benefits of agmatine, both for health and preworkout. However, I've only used it for preworkout purposes. It works great for me at 1 g.
 
Love me some Agmatine...as far as feeling good on it mental wise, hard to say. I always feel great after workouts. Pumps are great and vascularity is off the charts. I am bias since I am a rep but this stuff is great. So many additional health benefits.
