Fish Oil alongside other oils. Any competion for absorption?

Whacked

I would assumes there are no issues but I wanted to be certain.

If your taking Arachidonic Acid with it. Then you may get into some competition for storage and conversion enzymes at the higher dosing levels(as would anything with pro-infammatory properties).

I know that! :p

I'm a huge advocate of employing a very diversified/wide spectrum "healthy fat" regimen to my diet. todate, I've always simply thrown everything together at meals without any condieration of competition between the olis/fats.

I was just wondering if taking sesamin oil (1 teaspoon) and macademia nut oil (1 tablespoon) with each with my 4 "real meals" (4x/day) but this was also when I'd take my fish oil caps.

I just wondered if any of these healthy fats ingested at the same time, would take precendence or compete for absorption somehow; thereby rendeing one of the others "useless" to a degree.

I obviously want the most potent effects of all 3 oils given their varying degrees/unique attributes with respect to "health benefits.

For what it's worth, I eat a bit of flax with my 5th "real" meal so similarly, the same concerns are applied.

No, its a fat.

I was always told / read to take all oils (fish oil, flax oil, etc) with a meal. Taking on an empty stomach they'll be used for energy.

Just throwing that in there
