Mine is a legit question, I'm genuinely curious about this.
Being in a low-to-no carb diet all year round I always look for something
to snack on that doesn't contain carbs. When I'm home I can make my
99% protein brownie (2 scoops of whey, 1 white egg, water, microwave)
but when I'm out it ain't gonna work.. no wrap, it gets messy..
So I went the protein bars way but BOTH bars (diff brands) that I enjoyed
eating and that had only 2gr of net impact carbs (on 85gr of bar!)
have been discontinued over the past 4 months..
This is what I don't understand, obviously it appears to be no market for
such products because they keep discontinuing bars which have no carbs
and no sugar, but there's a shedload of them loaded 15/25gr of sugar,
nasty fats and everything..
Quested bars seem good enough but they're pretty much impossible to get in EU
I mean, protein bars seem - to me - a product that would mostly be used by people like me,
always dieting and looking for the least amount of carbs and sugar on anything
as opposed to whoever does bulking and have a way higher daily calories intake,
am I wrong? Companies please explain it to me.. what am I missing here?
AND, someone *please* make a protein bar that has no carbs, and no sugar,
lil fats. It does not need to taste overly sweet, I/we never eat sugar so anything
slightly sweet is gonna taste great
You make the bar, I promise I'm gonna buy so many to cover the entire production cost lol
Am I the only one on this?
