Agreed.Never had a problem with fed ex.U P S and U S P S on the other hand,are very slow.

Try UPS here in Socal. They actually deliver the package to the USPS post office, and have USPS deliver it to my neighborhood's community mailbox (and usually into the wrong mailbox). Which makes one wonder, why the hell did I pay UPS to deliver it in the first place, if they're just gonna pass it off to USPS to lose it? And then when USPS loses it, there's no one to complain to!!! USPS tells you to talk to UPS, and UPS says, "Well, we delivered it to USPS, so our obligation is done". It really sucks! FedEx, on the other hand, still delivers door to door, so I tend to prefer to encourage their business. Always on time too, and sometimes early! You must have a lame FedEx office.

I dislike fedex and I work for them sometimes to help out Haha. Ups is faster to my house and usps isn't to bad although they lose a lot of the packages I ship.

I know! I love Fedex. I always get my packages on time and there online update is always on time. Sorry to hear that jasen

Fedex is great. UPS is mega slow. USPS is actually faster than UPS. Diab, UPS has handed off packages to USPS for me too, but it depends on the shipper. A lot of times that happens when I order from Amazon. Usually though if you are give the option to select UPS they will be the only ones involved in the shipment.

Dude Fed Ex comes at like 1 pm for me, and I'm not there so instead of leaving it at my door like I tell them in the note, they put it back on the truck. Then they make a second delivery attempt at THE SAME TIME two days later, then again another day later. C'mon, if I'm not there the first time or two, pick a different time! I always end up having to go out of my way and drive to Fed Ex warehouse and hope the truck has made it back already, then wait half an hour while they dig it out for me and then I have to show them my id before I sign for it. I hate them too bro.

I hate them too, ever since they splint into two entities, fed ex ground and express. For all the bad talk, usps has actually been the best over the years, as hard as it might be to believe.

How come 99% of all online orders I've ever made has been UPS, does FedEx not deal with a lot of website. I think I got somethign that shipped with FedEx one time.

Thats what Im sayin, I dont know why people are so negative on them, I ship priority ALL the time and never have any problems, I go to more than 6 different po's to ship stuff, so its not like just the one by my house is good. Its really funny to me, because this reminds of a ph thread now, you really dont know what to believe, and you wonder who knows what they are talking about, its hard to tell if somebody who had one bad expereince is condeming something, or if somebody that has been shipping stuff for 20 years is telling you the same thing is great, or if somebody that ships for a living is saying one thing is better than the other, or if just boils down to "You're only as good as your last game" mentality and no matter what they have accomplished in the past, a 99% positive track record, people just comment on the last thing that happened.

USPS lost 6 packages out of 6 over the entire month of December. So ya, they suck (at least in my town).

I dont buy it, sounds real fishy. Somebody was either scamming you(not shipping), stealing them from you(from your mailbox), or stealing them from within the postal system because they knew or wanted what you were having shipped.(maybe part time xmas help with sticky fingers) they werent lost. Im curious what the post master said, and what was the outcome of the postal inspectors investigation.

They were Christmas presents from Amazon from various family members to various family members. Could have been sticky fingers, the investigation is still ongoing (last I heard). I don't anticipate a resolution, to be honest. We've pretty much given up on that avenue. As well, even if it is temp. help's sticky fingers, does that mean I should want to try them again? That's just crazy talk. Regardless, we didn't get them, therefore, they were lost. Doesn't matter how it happened, but it does matter that they have not attempted to resolve the issue either. Worst customer service ever to go with their ****ty shipping. That's the government for ya! And yes, one of the packages that was lost was through UPS after they handed it off to USPS, so it probably was theft. Either way, never had an issue with FedEx!

Never said you should try them again, clearly even more so now, is that they were not lost, they were absolutely stolen, maybe the cute little amazon words and logos on every amazon box was a tip off to the thief, so theres an internal situation that needs to be fixed and is specific to your incident(s). As far as poor customer service, well, welcome to 2011, has nothing to do with wether its goverment or private, thats pretty much the norm, rather than the exception anymore, doesnt make it right, but if they called you up tomorrow and said "we caught the son of a bitch that was stealing everybodys packages, we're gonna compensate you for your losses, and we really want to apolgozie for our poor customer service by giving you a year free shipping" it still wouldnt change what you said, "Either way, never had an issue with FedEx!". Im not trying to convince anybody how great the post office is, I have had problems with them, fedex and ups, all Im saying is of the three evils(since no one mentioned dhl) usps has been the least problematic for me, and unlike your situtation, was infact the easiest to get resolution from. You will have a prolbem with fedex and see how bad their cs is too, but its all good, Ive said enough on the topic, best of luck with your situation.
