New SARMS S-4 Log for an MMA Fighter: Part 2

Any vision problems at all so far? Do you still dose 50mg? Split it or all at ones?

Thanks, good log!

No vision problems at all. Dosing 25 mg twice a day, once before each workout M-F. I take off on the weekends though. I make sure to wear my sunglasses at all times if I'm out in the sun.

About to be on my way to do an anaerobic prowler circuit. I'll put up some details later :)

Did you notice an increase in facial hair? I never had much facial hair to start with, but I'm noticing that I'm growing a beard a lot faster. I'm about 2 weeks into my cycle of S-4.

lol I hope not!

I grow hair like a grizzly bear as is, I can't even imagine having something add to it...

Late but subbed!

Damn I'm really interested in giving s4 or mk-2866 a try for MMA/conditioning type training.

I have a beard so not too much of a change, ha! How are you liking the cycle so far?

So 12 days left till showtime. These last few days always go by the slowest. This will be my last hard week of training, with Wednesday being the hardest day of the week (the tapering will start on Thursday). My schedule will go somewhat like this:
-Monday
11:00 a.m. Padwork (10 x 3 min rounds/45 sec rest) - My padholder/coach is awesome, at this point it's an MMA fight. We usually work off the jab and have some predertmined combos, but he then throws multiple counters (ranges from punches, kicks, shots,) and I have to react accordingly. Almost like sparring. It's unpredictable, and purely reflexive.
5:30 p.m. Team training (MMA)

Tuesday
11:00 a.m. Circuits (whatever torture my strength coach has in store for me)
5:30 p.m. Team training (jits)

Wednesday
11:00 a.m. 30 min of uphill walking w/ weighted vest (light workout - save energy for evening training)
5:30 Team training (MMA) - this is the "special" day. All sparring in the cage, no drilling, a fresh training partner for each round (I always ask for the best people in the room, I WANT to lose every round). It's a true test of heart, there is no way to get through this without getting completely exhausted.

Thursday
11:00 a.m. Circuit
5:30 Team training (jits)

Friday
11:00 a.m. Padwork (10 x 3 min rounds)
5:30 Open mat (not sure what I'll do yet)

I'll fill in more details if the workouts are actually worth writing about. I'll def post about Wednesday. My last Wednesday of a training camp is always the most important day for me. And it's not about winning every round either. Like I said earlier, it's about being tested. I want to lose every single round that day; I want to feel what it's like to feel beaten, and have to get back up for another round. Some people can't train this way, I've seen many team mates break. Everyone is different, no one way is better than the other, this is simply the way I prefer to train. I've always felt that if I go through hell during the camp, then it won't be so bad if that happens during the fight. Or maybe I'm a masochist.

It's alright so far. I'm on a calorie deficit but I already hit PRs on my deadlift and weighted dips. So far, I have not noticed increased fat loss or vision sides, and I do feel a little bit suppressed(decreased libido). But I'm having pretty good energy for my workouts, which is pretty good. Aggression seems to be up though. About an hour after my first dose in the morning, I would just feel like killing someone when I'm in class. I feel like this when I'm lifting too, I would wanna kill the weight or something.

Sorry for the delay on updates folks. A close family member of mine passed away last week, and have been dealing with that for the past few days. I still plan on fighting, and have been cutting weight since Sunday. I've also been trying a new weight cutting diet that a dietitian made for one my friends that is a pro fighter. I was skeptical at first, but it really works.
The diet adjustment starts 5 days out (assuming the individual has already been eating clean leading up to this point - you must be within 10-12 lbs the week of weigh ins), and keep in mind this is not for permanent weight loss, it's for dehydration. You basically dehydrate slowly and progressively. I'm a believer, since I was waking up at 160 on Saturday, and I woke up at 151 today, so it's safe to assume that I may not even have to sauna tomorrow (I only have to make 147).
What do you guys think about taking s4 before my fight? Do you recommend it? If so, do I take the same dosage?

I'm sorry for your lose.

And wouldn't dehydration decrease your performance? And I don't see how taking S4 before your fight will hurt you. Personally, I would take a larger dose, maybe double, in order to increase aggression.

I dont see why it would hurt to take the same day of the fight......and the loss was on purpose correct? your cutting weight?

Cutting weight is unfortunately part of MMA, I am not a fan of it, but I have to do it if I want to fight people that are my size. It's actually quite stupid, everyone cuts weight just to gain it back, in the end we will most likely weigh the same.
If done correctly, the weight cut should not affect my performance. It hasn't the previous two fights for me. This is actually the best weight cut I've had, I'm already on weight and getting ready to head to the weigh ins in a couple of hours. I'm currently weighing 147, but I will be about 160 come fight time tomorrow night. The key is to be within 10-12 lbs within range the week of weigh ins, and to slowly dehydrate. This can be done safely with some tricks I've learned through time. This weight cut has been better because I had help from a dietitian, and I feel great considering I've cut 13 lbs. this week.
I'm going to take s4 before the fight, I'm really curious to see if I notice the difference. Weigh ins are in a couple of hours, I'll let ya'll know how it goes.

My fight went great last week, and I won a dominant unanimous decision against a bigger, stronger wrestler (remember wrestling is my weakness). I have not posted since the day before my fight simply because I've had no time to sit down and actually write a decent post. I'm going to try to get on tonight after work so I can write a play-by-play of each round. I didn't finish him unfortunately :( but it was nice to grind out a grinder. This moves me to 3-0.

I should have a play-by-play post by tomorrow. I've had a lot of work to do this week to make up for my time off that I took last week to prepare for the fight. I took s4 before the fight like I said I would. Again I'll give thorough details later. My cardio output was sick this fight. Thank you guys for keeping up with the thread, and for your support and encouragement!

Hell yeah! I have been wondering how it went!

Well after a week of rest, and healing (had some knee bursitis, and minor bumps/bruises), I'm ready to get back into the routine. I did some light boxing on monday and tues, just to get my knee used to moving again. I also started lifting again on monday, and I completely forgot how sore you get! (remember, we cut out weight training for strength/power about 3 to 4 weeks out to avoid overtraining. We focus on circuits instead).
My last dose of S4 was right before my fight (I took more than usual, about 60 or 70 mg, it's hard to tell). Didn't have any vision side effects whatsoever, which was kind of worrying me before my fight. This is now my second week off of it, and I don't feel any side effects, nor strength loss. Monday we did upper body, and we kept it light, and I was still repping out 80 lb dumbells on bench for 10 reps easily. Oh, and I did not take any PCT, and I don't feel any negative effects either!
I'm thinking about stacking s4 and Osta, in about 2 or 3 weeks (so my body can down regulate the receptors). What's yall's opinion? I'm not looking to gain weight, just strength and endurance. I'm going to keep competing at 145, even though I should be a 135er. I don't see the need to cut more until I get paid.
