Hey everybody. Recently I have been thinking about using var to cut a little bit of stomach fat off as I have put on a little bit by bulking for the last 2 months, however I am stuck between that or finishing off the cold season with a pmag cycle and aim to put on a little more weight and maybe shed some fat in the process. A recomp I suppose or a lean bulk. Any input? I dont have an excess of fat, but I am 3 or 4% over where I would like to be b/f wise. I would like to be able to get cut up again by april or so without losing much mass so there is my delima. Any suggestions, input or advice is much appreciated. Thanks guys!
 
i've always been a firm advocate of promagnon-25, but my experiences are based off of the original compound and not any of the clones, though the effect should be the same...

promagnon was extremely effecient for supporting my goal to build noticeable & easily maintainable strength, but then again, that all ties into my theory that you need to have a solid baseline which should be self-explanatory at this point if you are delving into hormones

it will definately aid in fat loss/maintaining lbm while on a caloric defecit assuming the obvious controls are already in place, and in my experiences, pull some impressive strength gains while becoming more defined in 6-8 week cycles with minimal side-effects

^ i feel the same way as pmag is my favorite compound and better at mass gains than hdrol but for shaving off more fat i think hdrol has the upper hand
 
Hey thanks for the replies guys. I will deffinatly check out your logs thanks man. I have read that each substance has its strong points Hdrol for cutting and pmag for mass, However I am having a hard time deciding if I should squeeze a little more bulk out before cutting or if I should go ahead and cut. I have put on a tad bit more fat than I intended on this winter so far and Im just wondering if I bulk up a little more will it be harder to maintain my muscle gained on cycle while cutting after cycle? If I keep my diet in check while on cycle and only eat 500 or so over maintainance should I still expect to put on some bf? I will wait till after pct to start cutting in order to let my body get used to the new muscle but will I dont want to lose whatever gains I make. I hope to cut down by summer time so I figure I could still fit one cycle in bulking. I hope all of that makes sense lol sorry if it was a little rantish :)
 
Both compounds are so similiar to each other, that I don't think it matters which one you use that much, but from everything I've heard P-mag is a little better for mass, and hdrol is a little better for cutting. But that difference is so minimal that you could use either compound for either result and you would come out almost the same.
 
I have also been researching P-mag and from what I have found, it seems to be less suppressive than H-Drol which is evident from the blood work I have seen.

I ran H-Drol for a lean Bulk and had amazing gains. I plan to run P-mag and Stano-drol next year some time.

I suggest stacking either H-Drol or P-mag with Furzza if your goal is fat loss. Better yet, I think D-Plex + Furzza would cut you up very nicely.
 
Hey Bash, did you gain much bodyfat on the hdrol or did it pretty much come on lean? and what were your gains like? I have also read that hdrol trashes your system more than previously thought. Any input on this? I would rather run the least harsh compound but I understand everything has its potential for sides.
 
Gains from all steroids come lean. Only your diet will make them un lean. Some bloat you but water doesn't matter as you will ony have it for a couple weeks. Steroids don't cut but some are better performers in recomp situations. SD will outshine them all for recomps and bulks and everything in between.

How long would you have after pct before you would hae to cut to ge down to wher you want by when you want? Cutting post pct is a bad idea especially since you say you wanna hang on o mos of your mass you gain. Ideally you wannt lean bulk for maybe say a month after IMO as it will make it much easier to keep that new mass. (I Learned hard way twice)

If you can't wait to cut till a few weeks after pct I'd say cut now for a couple weeks than lean bulk on p mag so you don't feel as chubby. Than cut a few weeks after.

It was my 1st cycle, I was lean to begin with. I gained 15 lbs very lean, everyone commented on how much bigger I was. There was no obvious bodyfat rise, until after PCT where I had a month off work and was eating too much. I had lost 3lbs during the 1st week PCT, which was down to not getting enough calories in due to me working overtime. I did eventually gain them back.

My job is fairly active, hence I can get away with eating mass amount of food and stay lean. I was eating over 4500+ calories, around 400 - 500+ carbs, 280 protein and around 120+ fats - I tracked my macros in excel sheet so these No. are very accurate.

I got very serious for this cycle, I quite smoking, drinking and just trained and ate to precision, hence my outstanding results. Strength gains were also good 20lbs on all major lifts for reps. One thing I regret is not pushing myself further, e.g. drop sets, heavier sets etc...

From the blood work I have seen, H-Drol is preety harsh, defiantly not as mild as people suggest, would really recommend a SERM. Although I felt fine throughout (e.g. could get wood fine throughout) I'm sure my bloodwork would of shown some levels fairly out of norm.

Although there are not many P-mag logs, from what I have read, and people I have asked, it seems to be one of the most underrated PH out there.

Zamaman is right as well, do not reduce calories during PCT, very bad idea, you will lose your gains. I would recommend at the very least keeping calories at maintenance levels, but ideally you should be eating above.

I'm in the same situation as you, I want to get rid of the extra fat I gained during PCT. Its been 2 months since I finished my cycle and I feel I have solidified my gains, I am slowly recomp the first few weeks, then beginning to transition into more of a cut. It should only take around 2 - 3 months max, which is when I plan to start my next cycle, lean bulk - should workout nicely.
