it was just as common for kids of my generation to trip on acid as it was for my parents generation to drink a beer at the drive in.

my parents would never dream of taking acid-what pisses me off is to see a guy of my generation listening to rap or getting nose piercings-there comes a time when you JUST PLAIN HAVE TO GROW UP.

HAPPY FRICKIN FRIDAY, EVERYONE!!!

Whatchya got on tap for this weekend????

Me? Work today, off Sat-Monday. Wife and daughter heading up to her grandparents' house tomorrow afternoon and staying till late Monday evening. Monday is "cookie day" - all of the hens gather at the henhouse and make hundreds of dozens of cookies. This is the first year she hasn't asked me to go along - she finally gets it!! I'll be driving them up and picking them up on Monday - about 110 miles one way x 4 + high octane gas at $3.29/gallon = no money to do anything while I'm home alone. BUT, being home alone with just the dog for a whole weekend? PRICELESS!! I have NO idea what I'm gonna do with myself. Definitely some nap time, definitely some sprawling out with the bed to myself, and most likely stoppin' back in here frequently to say something stupid/funny/obscure/perverse.

Woo hooo!!!

:djparty:

i fixed it for you

With any luck, maybe not! :booty:

Besides... carpal tunnel syndrome kinda makes that a bit tough. :dunno:

Nice new avvy, Jimmy! Nikki Simms - I'd know those socks anywhere.

Wait, what???? :27:

Edit: Oh, great, prove me wrong and change it to something with a cross. I like the rainbow socks better. ;)

I don't even know what "fap" means.....I come from a sheltered childhood, LOL
Uh...ok, let's play Pyramid here. I'll give the clues, you give the answer!

Uh... Charlize Theron naked... um...Jamie Eason...uh....um....college girls issue of Maxim....uh...

THINGS YOU WOULD FAP TO?

CORRECT!!!!

Got it? Yea...

C'mon.... you all knew it was coming...

I barely think of my wife when I'm having sex with her, why would I think about her for fap material

Well now that I know what it means.....Because!! Then she'll do all the kinky nasty things she always refuses to in real life!!

No more "That doesn't go there!!" or "No, thats gross!!" Or "are you gay or something?"

.....just for examples, of course....LOL

Or "I'm bleeeeding", to which I say, "So?"... :dunno:

I'm the morbid type. Bodily functions, particularly blood, simply don't bother me. But yet...no! Argh... So now... "I sit, in my desolate room, no lights, no music..JUST SUFFER...killed everyone, gone away forever, but I'm feeling better!!" :bigeyes2:

Always forget just how much I love this song:

Oh yes...yes...yes... You, Sir, are CORRECT!! :head: :head: :head:

Way out in left field bump...

Anybody have any experience with Hankook tires? Bought 4 of their Optimo's for my Saab this past year - 2 late winter, 2 early spring. I put the newest ones on the front, and didn't exactly remember to rotate 'em. They're a 60K mile tire. Since then, I've put maybe 20K on the car, and they're down to 2/32 - not even pass inspection and not even a full year out of them!!! They're supposed to be designed for a "sport sedan", H-rated, and otherwise were a good tire. But now I'm stuck with the first snowstorm of the season here and it's in the shop right now getting a new set of Yokihamas. NOT happy with the wear on those. Car is torquey, but it's almost 10 yrs old w/ 133K on it...can't be THAT much of a tire-eater!!!

When is the last time you had it aligned?

Rotate your tires every other oil change at least. As they wear, they get out of balance so at least every other rotation, have them balanced.

No experience with Hankook but tires are rated on their durability or hardness and this is how they do it:
UTQG Treadwear Grades are based on actual road use in which the test tire is run in a vehicle convoy along with standardized Course Monitoring Tires. The vehicle repeatedly runs a prescribed 400-mile test loop in West Texas for a total of 7,200 miles. The vehicle can have its alignment set, air pressure checked and tires rotated every 800 miles. The test tire's and the Monitoring Tire's wear are measured during and at the conclusion of the test. The tire manufacturers then assign a Treadwear Grade based on the observed wear rates. The Course Monitoring Tire is assigned a grade and the test tire receives a grade indicating its relative treadwear. A grade of 100 would indicate that the tire tread would last as long as the test tire, 200 would indicate the tread would last twice as long, 300 would indicate three times as long, etc.

There is a wear number on each tire to basically tell you how hard the compound is...ergo more durable and usually the harder a tire the less traction.

It is only slightly, and only recently, out of alignment. It's not bad, though. The tire wear is pretty even except that the driver's side front is a bit worn on the outer edge. Still, that's rather recent - like a month.

I do generally rotate them every other oil change or somewhere thereabouts. When i had it in to get an oil change last week, they checked thread depth - 2/32 on both the front, 3/32 and 4/32 on the back. One set was bought over winter to replace 2 bad ones, and the matched others after my wife got a flat in the then-oldest tires. I'd say that the oldest pair (currently on the back) only has about 2K more miles than the front. When I did each set, I had the new tires put on the front. Just really stinks that they wore out THAT fast. As for oil changes, did one in the spring, 1K later the engine went so it was down for a month getting a new one in (well, 62K on it, so newer) with fresh oil. Just changed that out after 7K miles. (Recommended is 10K, 7K for harsh driving conditions - synthetic!).

I dunno... frustrating, and as always, bad timing...

What has two thumbs and has been sick since Friday? THIS GUY! My 3 day weekend was spent in bed drinking tea all day and not lifting like a typical not-big. UGH! Cold is all but gone now, thankfully. But I still sound like I'm choking on a frog or something. It's gonna be another great day at work. That's right, they had me go in for 5 hours yesterday. I'm sure I sounded pretty scary for that 5 hours too. Oh well. Once more into the breach, dear friends. :)

would a japanese professional reggae dancer make you feel better?

Anyone else grab some kickass supps recently that they're extremely excited to run?

I picked up not only 2 bottles of HEAT, but also scored 2 bottles of DCP.

I got some heat, plus joint force. I'm hoping that helps my tendonitis

I sound like a damn zombie brah, BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAINS make me feel better.

Did ya atleast catch the season finale of "The Walking Dead"??? Or were you too busy being an extra for season 2? :booty:

Get better, man!

Outside of protein, i have not ordered anything in probably a couple months. I will be grabbing the AndroMass when it is available though :D
Ditto on the not buying for a while. Just not quite in the budget... aka, been spending on bike parts.

Did get another bottle of AT-2 and some Erase, though. Will probably run early 2011. Gym time is cut WAY back for the end of the year. Between the snow and taking more time to drive, picking the girls up playing daddy taxi, and a ton of days off from work, I just won't have the time to hit the plates. Aaaahh... dietary discipline, don't fail me now!!

I'm usually a pretty simple guy and run just staples for the majority of the year, but the PP gig has expanded that lately. MAP and GPLC have been very helpful.

I've been looking forward to HEAT for awhile now, especially since I snagged a bottle from the last run by Avant in '08. I like the new spin that Dsade put on it, too.

MAP/GPLC/Arginocarn have become staples as well. I am actually out of the GPLC that makes me sad, but I am waiting to order everything I need at once.

I do have to look into HEAT though, I have not heard one bad thing about it.
