Feeling Sick - Full Tilt confiscated my funds...

Made an account on FTP a while ago and wasn't able to get them to change my bank account information around after I had moved.

I made a second account a few months ago since I was pretty much forced to in this situation, but never cashed out from that account.

Yesterday I took 6th in a Super Stack 10k and decided to cash out some of my funds and just leave 6bi in my online acct for the cash limit that I play.

This morning I woke up and saw that they declined my withdrawal request, closed my account, and confiscated ALL of my money, not just my withdrawal.

The email said to contact them and email them from my closed acct's email to request that "remaining funds be transferred to my primary account."

Question 1: What constitutes "remaining" funds. Does that include my withdrawal, or just what I had left after withdrawal funds were confiscated.

Question 2: Do you find this to be ethical on their part? While I understand the terms of use are not to have two accounts, I don't see how it could have been avoided. It was their issue for not returning my original emails to change my bank account information.

I find it to be complete BS that they'll take my money when I have two accounts open but not return it to me when requested.

Even before PA and some of those other guys were sponsored they had AT LEAST 2 accounts open without any issue.

This entire situation sucks. They just took my entire online roll. Not a small amount of cash.

How much money - in real terms - are we speaking about, IC?

Nothing insane, but not a comfortable amount to lose. I keep my online roll separate from my live roll. I 4-6 table 25-50nl + keep enough in to handle variance and my occasional MTT games. Live I play 200nl here in the charity rooms, and juicier games (500nl) if the action is good. Thank goodness I didn't have my entire roll in there.

It's not going to cripple me but it just really does not ease my already fleeing feelings of poor integrity for FTP or the other sites.

I just really hope it's returned in full. It will surely screw over this months profitability. I just hope it gets cleared up and doesn't take too long.

Well, actually I misspoke, it is crippling. - What I told you was just what I normally keep online. This was 22BI + Variance + MTTs. So ya.

Just not my live roll. I treat them very differently.

The guys at 2+2 don't think it will be an issue since I didn't violate any rules (multi-accounting MTTs, colluding, etc.) other than having more than one account. I just hate having this cash in limbo, and I really wanted to play tonight. I could go downtown and play live but all I feel like doing is blowing scags up in Borderlands. lol. Screw grinding tonight. I surely wouldn't be on my A game.

Sorry to hear the situation IC.

It does sound like you will get it so that would be good. I don't understand what nl or mt stands for.

Did you or anyone else ever play at Casino On Net?

Yes, I had a buddy that plays professionally online. He's dealt with some check issues from FTP, but they seem to be having some serious issues as of late.

Here are some 2+2 threads on it:

PStars is known for great customer service, FTP is not; however, the flipside is you can make more money off of the rakeback on FTP and their tournament structure is far superior. Pick your poison.

With all this BS, assuming I get my money, I think I may just drop it all in my live bankroll. I just really don't know if I trust playing online at this point. At least I have the luxury of some good, profitable casinos and charity rooms around here.

I've never had a problem with PS and you're right their customer service is great.

Just cash out the account, get whatever you can back and give PS a go. If you genuinely want the higher rake and you really dislike the tournament structure at PS (I think it's fine) go back to FT, what can you do?

I would refuse to give them my service at this point. Not that this would hurt them or anything, just for me to know they ain't getting sh*t from me. I hated FT from the beginning... just never liked it for some reason.

PS isn't a bad site at all, and I used to play it regularly, but for a time there the MTT's and even the cash games from my experience were easier at FTP. In addition, I never played over 30k hands/mth, so I was never able to make Supernova at PS. The 27% rakeback was just a much better deal for me, but it looks like I'll be going back to Stars. I haven't heard of any issues with the echeck deposit or withdrawal on there.

I just can't believe that FTP's support is so terrible. You'd think for a multi-billion dollar corp they'd invest in some good CS.

Really? I always thought MTT's were easier at PS. I could never do jack sh*t on FT. I never could take FT seriously with their stupid cartoon avatars either... felt like I was playing a fake video game... and by the time I figured out I could change the layout the damage had been done lol.

I've cashed out on a few MTT's on PS but never even came close in FT.

Wired my funds to my bank acct on Nov 17th. Still haven't received the wire. I hear FTP is having difficulty with their 3rd party processor.
