Panoxyl comes in 5 or 10% benzoyl peroxide. It is a great wash for the shower.
Proactive products have variations that contain salacylic acid with or without benzoyl peroxide in smaller %. it is expensive stuff in a really cosmetically acceptable vehicle. Your dermatologist could prescribe a cheaper regimen that would work as well if not better.
There is no legitimate supplement on the market that can really help with breakouts. You may need a retinoid topically or a combo topical with benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin. If you have a big event that you need to be at, a dermatologist may even prescribe an oral antibiotic of the tetracycline family to speed up the clearing of the acne.
Just know that any pimple you have, was a month in the making. To see any difference you need to use a topical/oral 4-6 weeks.
Acnetame's ingredient profile offers NOTHING that can impact acne in any way whatsoever. The pathway is "proposed", published in a journal of "hypothesis" and the doses that were studied in that article were 10 grams of B5 with 1-5 grams for maintenance. The product has 1.26 grams of stuff per serving. Do the math even if it were a legitimate study. This has been discussed at length previously.
Go see a dermatologist for legitimate treatment. The copay would be worth it.
Cheers.
