I check my pressure after working out and it was around 125/76. I then went out to eat with my ball an chain at the indian place where I consume loads of chicken tikka masala and when I got home and checked my pressure it was 147/87. I think masala is probably really high in fat and sodium but could it really raise the pressure that much? The stuff must turn your blood to honey!
I've been struggling with boderline to high blood pressure for quite awhile. I started taking 3g of l-arganine and 6-9g of fish oil which seems to help is there any other natural things that might help? I guess I should stay away from my beloved tikka masala! Or a least eat a MUCH smaller portion.
Oh yeah, do you think doing heavy weight lifting is helpful at lowering bp in the long run?
