High metabolism Hard Gainer - Nutrient Partitioner?

Basically title says it all.

Is there any benefit from a male with high metabolism who has a hard time putting on weight in general - use of a product like glycobol or anabolic pump?

I was thinking if it's not effective for use with all major meals of the day, maybe just pre-workout meal?

Advice/insight please and thank you.
 
if your having trouble gaining weight then it may not be warrented or at least not as often due to caloric wasting properties that some of them have you would have to increase you caloric needs even more.

post up a sample of your diet lets see if we can fix that first.
 
That was my concern, I don't understand if using a partitioner burns more calories or if it just moves them into your muscles more effectively, leaving the nutrients left behind IE fats and proteins left for other more efficent uses...

Due to being deployed it's hard for me to eat ideally. I eat 3 major meals a day, usually containing over 1k calories each. Then inbetween meals i will snack on fruits or peanutbutter and crackers etc. Pretty much what ever i can get. Usually drink a meal replacement shake after dinner before bed.

I'd say i get roughly 4,000 calories, again it's hard to count over here. I do my best to eat the most, but i've always been an ectomorph. The only weight i can ever add is muscle, which i'm doing a decent job of it lately.
 
Try a balance of 40/40/20 Carbs/protein/fat. I dont think nutrient timing is as important as how much you're eating, and what. For carbs, keep em complex for the most part even though fruit is good for shorter term energy. If you can, try to eat something right before you go to bed too.
 
Oh and this seems out of the ordinary, but also make sure you have no digestion problems. Probiotics help absorb more nutrients from your food and will regulate your flow a little better, allowing you to eat more. And then again, another extreme could be intestinal parasites (sounds like im being extreme but I had a buddy who had them for a couple of years before getting checked out)
 
if you arent gaining on that then you really should add more caloriesif you can and if you cant cut down on the amount of WORKOUT days do 3x a week.
 
Adding oils and fats are an easy way to achieve higher calories.

Well i've tried a lot of things, might as well try that. Any product suggestions?

I have recently been trying to eat more, and i think it's making a difference. It's hard in afghanistan but soldiers aren't supposed to bitch lol.

I work out push/pull/leg split once a week and pretty much zero cardio.

Honestly, i don't want to be 170 pounds!
 
I use NOW probiotic defense. Cheap, and lots of servings.

you do realize that nutriet repartitioners actually waste some calories right?

if he wastes calories and eats the same amount hes going to go backwards.

try testopro primal male stack for t boosting properties and leave the NPs alone until you get a better handle on your diet.

I was not aware of the waste. Can you explain how that works?

I'd also heard keeping cortisol low helps with hard gainers. I think it's due to cortisol lowering test levels. Higher test will help retain muscle and cortisol burns muscle.
Avoid caffeine.
I used to be a hard gainer. But age is catching up :sad3:

That's what i was trying to understand. The only way i can see it "wasting" calories if it raised your metabolism or forced your muscles to burn more carb energy. From what i understand, it won't inherrantly cause me to lose weight, and i can still use it to help build muscle.

Still wondering if i should save it for my pre-workout meal, or if i should eat a mix of carbs pre workout with a AP.

For the record, i have a bottle of AP i don't want to waste. I figured i'd give one bottle a try, i like seeing how supplement affect me.
 
So i got a probiotic from NOW for the hell of it, and it's given me the ****s 3 hours after i take it. Anyone who's used these before, will i eventually get used to it and not get the ****s? Or am i abnormal for getting the ****s from it in the first place?

Thats the stuff I take. For about 3 or 4 days I was running to the bathroom. That's what probiotics do for you at first, but after a bit of time they create a natural balance or bacteria which help to digest food better.

Imagine if you were consuming 300 grams of protein a day. And maybe a third goes to waste due to indegestion, lets say you get 270 absorbed on a probiotic. That's pretty much the point.
 
It says dose once or twice a day. I've taken it first thing when i wake up, and i get this ****s at 9 on the dot. After my body gets used to dosing it once a day, should i up it to twice? Even at 2 a day it's a 2 month supply for like 12 bucks.

Yeah bro theyre cheap, id up it when you get used to it and see how your body reacts. I remember when i got my girl on her probiotics she was pissed at me for a couple of days cuz they normally get people runnin to the bathroom.

Im used to taking probiotics. So when I run out, and dont take them for a few weeks or so, it kicks my butt a couple days but your body will start to regulate after a couple weeks. Just keep taking them. A lot of it is undigested food and toxins being pushed out of your body. Ever heard of a detox? Well this is very similar
 
Anabolic Pumps benefits would be great for your situation.

Activating glut-4 would assure that your body is actually utilizing more protein than it would normally. This is pretty important in building lean mass.

Other than my total ****fest last 3 days, i think AP has helped me put on weight, but i'm assuming it's just more glycogen stores in my muscles. I'm happy with AP though, and it helps me try to cram more carbs in my diet.
 
My body can almost tolerate half a cap of Probiotics now. Still has me running to the bathroom. I'm pretty damn determined to make these work! lol
