So I got a paycheck

No the trainer is a KBR contractor who works in the Gym here on base. The ONLY supps available on base are sold at the PX and are BSN/Muscletech products. AAFES runs the PX. I am eventually going to ask him to write something up for me and then I'll post it before I judge him lol.

Talked to him for a couple mins today, seems like a cool dude. Bad taste in supps though lol.

Back on topic :D

Therein lies the problem...AAFES. For those of you outside the military community, AAFES is a monopoly on military bases, especially overseas. They have some incompetent individual making decisions on which vendor they purchase from, basically based on all the advertisement and hype, thus the reason they are carrying MuscleTech and BSN.

How does BSN and MuscleTech hype their products ?? They have tons of research in their special ad reports to back their studies up

lol but seriously, that's messed up !

Owned by an retired airforce general :(

Who makes BANK. Seriously for the most part the tax free thing isn't a huge savings...most stuff is brandname so you are still paying out the wazoo. Occasionally they have awesome sales though, and their credit program isn't bad (althought credit is da debil) I am not really a fan of the inconsistency in every AAFES I have ever been in though lol...

Stick to doing your research and ordering online. Just wait for the sales and especially shipping deals since like me, you're at an APO address and everyone seems to like to charge us more for some reason, despite the fact an APO is a U.S. mailing address! Okay, just venting a bit. :cussing:

I know right. 5.50 cents to ship to WA state where my mom puts stuff in a 3 dollar priority box, vs 25ish to go from nutraplanet, which is east somewhere right? to NewYork (closest apo sorting i think) I never understood that. I asked them if they could just put it in a priority box for me and didnt get an answer lol :)

A lot of times I'll just ship stuff to my parents, especially if free shipping is offered and have them put it in a flat rate priority box to my APO. I'm still fuming...lol :soapbox:

Best emoticon ever right thur. Yeah I do that on stuff that I don't need soon, it triples shipping time sometimes =x

Hemavol on sale btw.

I've never paid 20+ from nutraplanet. I've never ordered big tubs of anything yet, but you can't really fit big tubs in flat rate boxes anyways i don't think.

Yeah you are right on big tubs not fitting lol.

Nutrapro and some random pills = 23.05 shipping
1kilo creatine, tshirt, gloves = 15.05 shipping
no-ignite, nutrapro, kwik-karb = 26.15 shipping
some pills, bc+eaa, ba, bcaa bulk, kwik-karb = 18.20 shipping

I ordered some muscle juice and had it sent to my mom for 5 bucks
order was vasocharge, 10lb musclejuice, sline sane, t-911, eaas and blender bottles. Just got the shipping quote from my mom and it was 40 bucks, Maybe saved a few dollars. Meh...APO shipping sucks...wish they have free shipping sales at np

agreed. Of course there are a few supplements that of course deff help you, but on the basis of COST VS EFFECTIVENESS, creatine and protein are really the best.

Sure, spending 80 bucks on an over-advertised "propietary blend" of simple cheap ingredients will give you an amazing placebo affect, and will probably add on a few lbs... but if u invested 80 bucks on creatine and protein it would last months and undoubtedly give you more gains.
+1.

I buy protein here locally unless i can find a good deal which makes it worth it. Other than that smaller boxes never seemed to of cost me too much more to get shipped out here.
