Steroids while studying...

So I'm starting a cycle tomorrow (Saturday). It'll be a Mdrol-Epi bridge. If you read my last thread, I was gonna do a test e-EQ cycle, but decided I wasn't ready to pin just yet (Just goin out w/ a bang w/ my last oral only cycle ).

I've just began summer classes for my last year in college, and this is an important summer as these 2 classes I am taking till August will either boost my GPA up enough to get into Med school or bring me down to the point of no return :damnit::damnit::damnit:).

I was wondering how much of an effect will taking a bridge such as this effect my performance to study, memorize, retain info, and pay attention during lectures/labs. I'm just worried that it'll effect my performance to study and to retain all info given to me. I can definitely hold off till July when my most important class ends, but I need to know soon so I can stop myself from taking this cycle. I've already preloaded for 2 weeks so I'm almost about to get the ball rolling. From a pre-professional student's POV, I got all this potential energy. Before I let kinetic energy set in, I need input before I "release the ball" and let 9.8m/s2 take effect :chairfall:

nerd

jk

not really

haha. brah, I've molded into the nerdy type thruout my years of college, I couldn't believe the type of person I am now! but it doesn't stop me from doin what I love: pushin sweet iron and pumpin out till my veins burst thru my skin in every region of dense muscle. *sigh I wish I was going to do some Prop/EQ/Tren :food:. So is that a "not really it won't have an effect on ur studying?"

Any more input anyone?

Depends how prone u are to the lethargy side effects, thats the only thing I could see giving you any problem.

First run, I was prone to lethargy for the first week or so, but it wasn't unbearable.

From two posts, I'm taking it that it doesn't effect ur logical thinking and perceptual and conceptual understanding of material u learn, study and memorize?

My grades slipped a bit when I started my cycle because the cycle took up a lot of space in my head. In other words, I was thinking about the cycle and not focused on finals. But did come out with 3 B's and an A. So that's my 2 reps.

more of a placebo type of effect, and not directly effecting the brain?

BUMP

superdrol made me want to do nothing but go to the gym eat and sleep.. i was so lethargic all day and just wanted to sit around and do nothing but recover instead of studying or doing homeworlk... i remember the same thing happend to me towards the end of my trenadrol cycle also...

I would suggest just working out naturally over the summer for health purposes and less for gain purposes.

I'm on the same path as you and that's what I would do in your situation.

Did you already take the MCAT?

Lethary is a kick in the balls yea. Did u run an DHEA to combat this?

I do my MCATs next summer b/c I decided to hold off on it till I'm fully ready.

I mean working out naturally seems fine and all, but I'm a bio major dammit! I should be able to do more than 2 things at once lulz :slaphappy: I mean as long as it doesn't directly effect my memorization and doesn't actually make me less productive and more stupid then I'll do it. If lethargy is the only thing that has the potential for me to make me less productive, that's fine.

Yea then you're fine. I'm taking 8 classes each 4 credit hours at ASU in the spring 2011 semester also a bio major so I think you'll be able to handle the 2 in the summer lol. I'm coming from a junior college to ASU with a spotless GPA but I feel med school will look down on it so to make up for it I'm taking 8 classes in one semester to show I can balance a very heavy university workload. Plus it saves me tons of money since the tuition caps at 4 classes. I'll basically be getting 4 for free.

Why didn't you do the MCAT in your third year while the material was still fresh in your head? Cuz it's just in depth material of the basics of physics, chem, and bio.

I fell behind my 2nd semester of my first year and had to make up for loss ground. I wasn't able to do biochem, which my supervisor told me was important. I'm more scared about the ochem material b/c that's what will kick me in the nuts. As long as ur sci GPA and overall GPA, plus a spot on MCAT and nice resume full of extra currics are nice and tidy, med school will accept u w/ open arms. Good luck nevertheless brah!

So I'm taking it that this bridge should not effect me in any way? If so, I guess I'm poppin the caps tomo! If this is a bad idea, please share ur input, studies, etc.!!! STOP ME before it's too late!

i say go for it. if the classes really mean alot to you nothing is going to stop you from doing well. i usually get lazy and dont want to do the work but youre not a kid... you know what needs to be done. just load up on caffine if you have early classes and goodluck to ya.

I see.. thanks dude good luck to you too and pop the caps I don't think you'll have any problems.

Never had any problems studying. I think it's easier to focus and study actually... cycling puts you into a nice rigid schedule so it's very easy to be productive. With killer workouts and a perfect diet, you get some studying in and it feels like such balanced productivity.

I think you can handle ochem no problem if you put the time into it. I am a chemist and I love ochem. It relies on virtually 0 math, it's more of a visual puzzle that relies on a bunch of rules that are usaully pretty intuitive... hardest part is memorizing reagents.

Im pre-med currently 3rd year, ran a cycle previously during beginning of 2nd semester, did well with my grades, but I wore myself out in the gym, really depends how much time you spend in the gym and not studying

I know I am running an Mdrol cycle while studying for a legal exam in June, and it has admittedly been detrimental. I take practice tests frequently, so I have a gauge, and my scores have dropped a little since starting my cycle, primarily because of the lethargy (which was also mentioned in an earlier post). I can fight through it, but on an exam in which speed is very important, it is definitely not helpful. I plan to end the cycle about 15 days prior to the exam so that hopefully with the proper PCT I will be in fighting shape. I am also loading up on nootropics (piracetam, Huperainze-A, and Vinpocetine) to fight what I can describe of as a "foggy head" that I seem to have going into my third week of Mdrol. That said, everyone responds differently.

Good luck 8 )
