BCAAS

SO many options. I have very bad recovery as of lately. I have just used ajjipure branch chained aminos and honestly felt zero difference in recovery.

I am assuming I need hydrolyzed branch chains. I need them for meal replacements while cutting at school and work.

I want a economical batch that is worth the price.

I no I can buy bulk bcaa powder but will they just be junk. I like to megadose my bccaas will that help if I choose a plain powder.

XF ICE looks good and has lots of servings but can a bulk powder be just as good. And is there a powder that has b6 in it and is aslo akg that would be my pick.

I use a nutrishop one by vitasport but its to expensive but I love it please Help.

Should I try some lg sciences?

BCAAs are very dose dependent. How much have you been using recently?

Also, as Urbanski posted, RecoverPRO is the most economical, flavored version of BCAA.

Yes RecoverPRO is approx 27 cents per serving.

I currently have been using two doses per day. Before workout and before bed since shakes make me ****. Im looking into the suggested ones above. I use a product called glutacor. Its nice but it comes from nutrishop so im semi against it.

Another idea is to mix 20-30g into a large (2-3L) jug and slowly drink them throughout the day.

Slim 30grams of bcaa? Damn that's alot unless u gucking huge as hell lol. I take 10grams pre and post

Recoverpro looks like a solid product but it doesnt look like there is anything to help with absorbtion. I use ALRI Chained'out, the BCAA are attached to malate molecule which greatly increases absorbtion.

I reccomend Lg Sciences, Its like 15$. Thats really freaking cheap. I'm picking up another container or two next paycheck.

I'm absolutely loving Body Mortar from AMS.

how does recover pro taste? the bulk i'm using now tastes like total sh*t!

It is a little foamy but tastes great. Alot of people like to mix it the night before and put it in the frig and take takes care of that problem.

Not terrible as long as you don't mix it with bulk BCAA or anything else. The flavoring is very weak. But it's fine on it's own.

Xtend will taste like pop compaired to it. Xtend is way too sweet IMO.

BC+EAA is a nice compromise. Good taste, more flaovr than recoverpro, but not so sweet as pop like Xtend...

Haha I have quite a few different BCAA sources I use right now...

On non lifting days and during fasted morning cardio:

1 - in the morning I mix 3 scoops BC+EAA, 2 scoops Recoverpro and 1 scoop bulk EEA(something like 25g total)

Maybe another in the PM, but usually not.

On lifting days:

1 - same as above in the morning(25g)

2 - pre-workout - same as above but with 1 cup OJ added(25)

3 - during workout I made my own recipe from true protein:

3lbs Custom Mix + FORMULA
Citrulline Malate by the Pound 15%
L-Glutamine by the Pound 20%
Leucine 4:1:1 by the Pound 65%

I take 1.25(large protein scoop) scoops of this and it equals out to 20g BCAA, 6g Glut, 5g CM. That totals 44 servings if I remember correctly.

So about 50g BCAA around my workout and my recovery is great! Especially since I'm cutting which has actually turned into a recomp. Which in my belief is due to the all the BCAA/EAA I take in. Still making gains and keeping weight even, while body fat has dropped noticeably.

Universals Bcaa's taste amazing.

Their whey protein is the bomb also.

Xtend seems a little pricey...

xtend is good tho.

I use AXcell. Mix up a batch and sip it all day.

Leuc-X4 BCAA Technology (L-Leucine , L-Isoleucine, L-Valine), AFO-x Technology (Glucuronolactone, L-Taurine, Citrulline Malate), L-Glutamine,
Vitamin C, Lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC), Vitamin B6
The ones in quotes aid absorbtion.

Citric Acid, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Malic Acid, Silicon Dioxide, Acesulfame-K, Sucralose, and [Yellow #5, Red#40 (Sparkling Orange Splash)], or [Red#40 (Refreshing Arctic Berry)]

Recoverpro tastes great. Even 5 scoops. Other than recover pro I suggest Primordial IBCAA and add 1 scoop xtend or crystal light for flavoring.
