Cadio Confusion:------------

10min elliptical
15min treadmill
15min recumbent bike

ASGT Review-----------

I should note that I was sipping on Magnesium in between the three cardio battles to help fight cramping. It may have interfered with the ASGT so I won't do a regular ASGT review.

Narrative: ------------------

Magnesium or not I still got a really bad stinger below my right pec. It's the body's way of saying that I need to get more regular with my running. I hope I can get in there this evening. We'll see. If not, I may have to make it an abs night.

I hate those stingers!!! the time off from being sick is probably to blame. Give em hell tonight SB!!

How was the flavor man?

What immediately came to mind was lemon Propel. Light and citric, exponentially better than the original. I couldn't detect any cinnamon flavor whatsoever, though I did take SB's recommendation and give the tub a good shake before trying any.

An interesting sidenote is that I started sweating about 10min after ingestion - it was pretty intense!

That actually sounds pretty good!

Tried my first round of ASGT - 2 scoops. The stuff is POH-TENT, whew. Almost too much; might cut it back to 1.5 scoops for a while, but it made for an excellent routine today. Especially since I had some AP on hand too.
I actually can only handle around 1-1.5 scoops. I can't handle the crackedness at 2 scoops. Some people actually need 2 scoops to feel. Some need 3! I think those people are just crackys tho lol. Glad you dug it man!

....and nice db presses bro :clap2:

hey TG, I think Rob is insulting us!!! LOL gimme my 3 scoops!!!

lol no not insulting. I think 3 scoops is for those that like that "really stimmed out" feeling and for those that just have a high tolerance to stims. I like to think that I have a HIGH tolerance but I can only handle 1 scoop lol.

I'm with you on that assessment Rob... too stimmed in the gym is not the way to go for me. All I end up doing is getting in over my head and lift worse than if I went in there with nothing in me. A good solid buzz from caff/geranium is all I need to tear it up. I am sure that 1 scoop of ASGT will have me flying, especially dosing it at 4 PM!

with my size I rarely feel the stims at all until I hit 2 scoops. 1 scoop just gives my focus and slightly increased levels of energy. Guess we are all a bit different.

I like 3 for lifting. Been tempted to go 4.

you guys are mad!!!!

Vertical Leg Press: 135x15, 225x12, 270x10, 315x6

The Iron Maiden: 5, 5, 5, 4

Okay, so picture this thing, but you're standing up straight, back and butt pressed against the pad (pad's longer than in pic.) The weight in front is the counter-weight. The weight behind you the load.

ASGT Review-----------

Pump: Quads felt full, got a good stretch afterwards to squeeze everything out of em.

Endurance: Felt good, ASGT + lots of carbs today (it's leg day after all,)

Energy: Nothing too crazy. I was driven to destroy my legs. But when the legs are out of gas, it doesn't matter was your 'energy' is at, you're walking slow/funny.

Libido: Nothing to report.

Strength: Squats felt really good today...Iron Maiden never feels good.

Sides: None.

Narrative:---------------

Threw some pics up there of some of the equipment we have at the gym. The Iron Maiden looks like second one, only you're standing up straight, not laying down. The pad's longer too so your ass and back stay flush with the pad.

I did some ab work yesterday. Didn't dose ASGT cause it was already 9:00pm and I needed to get some sleep. Nothing to really report on the old abdominals other than they're still there.

Tunes:-------------

Meshuggah - New Millennium Cyanide Christ

You wish you could air guitar, drum, sing, as well as Meshuggah.

I never used an Iron Maiden looks cool.

It f*cking sucks man. You ultimately take EVERYTHING out of the movement except for your quads. It's a guaranteed way to make sure your quads are good and spent after a workout.

A gym I used to frequent in my town has one of those "Iron Maidens" like yours where you stand straight up and down in it. It's called a "Tru-Squat".
That is one of the, if not THE, most brutal machines that I've ever used. It drives you straight into the ground without mercy, It's all quads too. No using ass/hip or lower back strength to help you out.

Yeah TG, you notice that I didn't have any weights listed for those sets I did with it...

...exactly.

Quote of the day right there SB LOL

03-30-10

Warmup: Chiropractor adjustment

Back Attack:

Pullups: 20, 15, 5+45lb, 5+45lb, 2+70lb, 2+70lb, 5+45lb, 5+45lb, 5+35lb
Total: 64

Seated Cable Rows: 100x12, 125x10, 150x9, 150x8, 150x7

DB Rows: 40x10, 40x10, 40x10

Close Grip(v-grip handle) Pullups: 8, 6, 8

ASGT Review-----------

Pump: Nothing out of the ordinary to report. A main veins as always on my forearms.

Endurance: Got an extra set of the 70lb pullups in. That's something, right?

Energy: Focused. Ready to do pullups before I made it through the door.

Libido: -

Strength: 2nd set of 70lb pullups.

Sides: Actually started to get a little heated while I was doing the DB Rows. I really don't sweat much when I train anymore. I only sweat during cardio, so it was odd to start to get a little perspiration on my brow.

Narrative:---------------

Dosed ASGT then when to the chrio to get adjusted. It usually takes about an hour so I figured it would work perfectly. At the chiro we do a lot of dynamic stretching before an adjustment so when I leave I'm ready for anything. It's always great before a back or leg day. I leave feeling like I could squat/pull a tree or some madness.

Tunes:-------------

Rob Zombie - Iron Head (w/ a little help from OZZY!)

Hail to the king baby.

So much win in this thread! Evil Dead 3, Metal, gnarly workouts!! :head:

I tell ya man, I pour buckets when doing db rows. I imagine it's not JUST from the ASGT lol.

Also, BREAKING NEWS!! Invalid Link Removed

Just had my first "dose" about 15 min ago... My lips were definitely tingling!

I can't wait to hit the gym!!! I don't know if it's the placebo effect or what, but I'm ****ing amped to crush some weights right now

It's not placebo man, it's the real deal!

It's not placebo man, it's the real deal!

You want to see why its not placebo, check my log after my all PR workout today. AS-GT is the real deal and for $18 I can hardly believe it.

I absolutely demolished my shoulders / Triceps today... I just wanted to keep going, after every exercise I was ready for more... The term insatiable comes to mind!:AR15firing::AR15firing:

Between this and my Trifecta Stack I'll be starting on Monday, I can't wait to see the results... Both will be logged of course!

Chesticles:-------------

DB Incline Press: 20x20, 30x20, 40x15, 65x12, 75x12, 85x10, 40x10(2-2-1)

DB Incline Flies: 10x10, 15x10, 20x10, 10x10*, 10x10*
* = was taught a new way to do them to keep it all in the chest. My chest swelled up bigtime after the first * set.

Flat Bench(Smith): 95x15, 135x10, 135x9, 135x9, 135x9

Pushups: 15, 15, 15

ASGT Review-----------

Pump: Chest and tris were feeling all sorts of full today. Totally rocking a b-cup at the moment.

Endurance: Forced some pushups in at the end. Felt I needed to get some more in to really work chest.

Energy: I was yawning a bunch today, even during the lift. I got 8 hours last night and I had an adequate amount of carbs today. I dunno.

Libido: *sigh* maybe I'll just stop including this...

Strength: I was feeling pretty strong but all the yawning and the lack of a trusty spotter I didn't want to get underneath a barbell today.

Sides: -

Narrative:------------

Other than ASGT I haven't had any stims since before I got sick about 3 weeks ago. I felt pretty damn lethargic all day until my workout. I was still yawning during the w/o but it wasn't the same.

Tunes:--------------

Budgie - Breadfan

Metallica - Breadfan

Pick your poison. They both are made of win.

That sucks bro. How low are your carbs right now? How many scoops are you taking?

Let see....yesterday would have been over 200 for sure. 60 @ brekkie, 40 @ 1500, ~70 @ 1730(last meal before workout), and 40 @ 2045(post workout)

As for # scoops, haven't gone above 2...yet.

:irked: weird...unless you are burning insane amounts of calories, 200+ carbs/day should be enough to not feel lethargic and to have a rockn libido. hmmm :scratchchin:

Could be too much cardio as in the long distance running. For real. Excessive cardio can lead to lower than normal testosterone levels and this could be the culprit for the lack of explosive libido. :suspect:
I'd switch over to higher intensity/shorter duration cardio like wind sprints. Then control bodyfat with diet.

Alright, intervals only. Works for me, more productive anyhow :)
