BDub's getting Pumped! An Anadraulic Pump log (Sponsored)

Day #12 (08Feb)

I only got 3 hours of sleep Sunday night, so I was pretty out of it in the morning. That 3 hour drive on Monday mornings sucks.

I spent most of my day at physical therapy, so I was nice a warmed up for my chest workout.

I took 5 scoops of AP prior to hitting the gym during lunch.

I had to wait for my partner for a little while so I just messed around with a couple of exercises before he got there.

Pull ups: 4 sets of 12. I like to throw in pull ups randomly throughout the week. They really help bring out my upper back. I will be hitting them more often when I start my cut phase.

Standing cable flyes: 4 sets of 50x10

Flat bench DB press: 80x12, 95x10, 110x8, 120x6. Not sure if my mentioned this before, but my gym only has 1 100 DB, and 1 105 DB. This really sucks when you are doing presses. 95-110 is a pretty big jump. Oh well, it forces you to go heavy!

Incline bench DB press: 70x12, 80x10, 95x8, 110x6(PR!) Once again, that jump sucks.

Standing cable crossovers: 70x12, 85x10, 100x8, 100x6. I love the burn you get in the inner pecs with this one. My chest is pretty wide, but I am lacking in cleavage. These really target that area.

Butterfly machine: 4 sets. I actually forgot my numbers on this one. This exercise is supposed to target the lateral pecs, but I like to move the pads in a few clicks and really focus on the medial portion. This is another way I target my inner pecs, they were toast after this one.

Mood 10/10: All morning in PT left me feeling great. The AP also helped me wake up and get over the lack of sleep. I did miss lunch at the galley after the gym however, and had to eat at McDonald's. That kindda put me in a foul mood. That put me back to a 7/10. haha.

Pump 9/10: The pull-ups actually got my back nice and pumped prior to hitting chest. After the inclines my chest was really pumped as well, and it only got better as the workout progressed.

Focus: 8/10: There was this bunch of guys screaming while doing 1RM half rep bench. They were going pretty heavy though.(I saw 1 guy put up 365) I am not anti noise at the gym, I grunt as well. I just think screaming is a little overdoing it. It's a little hard to focus when Little John is screaming WHAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!!!! right next to you.

Vascularity: 8/10: The usual forearm veins were out, and the tie-ins were out as well after the gym.

OKAY!!!!!!!!! LOL How funny we have a guy who yells all the time at our gym. I get loud when pushing hard but this guy just yells full force. I understand a celebratory yell if you break a PR or something big but just getting up from a set and yelling or yelling with EVERY rep, UGHHH!!!!

Day #13

After I got back from work yesterday I passed out, and didn't wake up until 4:00 this morning. I got 10 hours of sleep last night. It was awesome. I never get near that much sleep. Needless to say, I was well rested and ready to hit back at 5:00.

Looks like I have about 2 workouts left in my bottle of AP. Almost enough to get me through this week.
5 scoops and I was off.

Pull-ups: 4 sets: 12,10,8,6

Deadlifts: 135x12, 225x10, 315x6, 225x8. The lower back is still giving me some problems, so I can't go that heavy still. Going to the chiropractor next week to see what he can do.

Lat pulldowns: 165x10, 180x8, 195x6, 210x4. I like using an overhand grip with my thumbs on top of the bar. This really takes out the arms and targets the lats.

Close grip lat pulldowns: 180x12, 195x8, 210x6, 210x5. Once again thumbs on top of the bar.

Close grip seated rows: 205x12, 225x10, 245x8, 245x6

DB shrugs: 130x10, 150x8, 150x8, 140x8

Mood 10/10: I felt great this morning. I just got a new memory foam mattress for my wife's place, as well as a new one in the barracks. My sleep is awesome now. I didn't know what I was missing. I feel so much better upon waking now.

Energy: 10/10: 10 hours of sleep plus AP is a great combo. I was itching to hit the weights.

Pump 9/10: Great pump this morning. I especially felt it in the lats. I think a good lat pump is the best feeling. Really makes me feel huge.

Focus: 9/10: I had two partners this morning instead of the usual one. The new one really upped the intensity of the workout. It was a good change of pace.

Vascularity: 7/10: I didn't notice any crazy veins this morning, but the pump was still awesome.

Day #14

I slept in a little this morning, and was almost late to the gym, but I downed my AP and made it to the gym by 5:00 for arms. I am guessing I have 3 more scoops left. Just enough for legs tomorrow. I will try and have my final review up no later than Tuesday. I have a 3 day weekend, so I will be out of town until then.

Arms:

Floor chins: 4 sets of 12. These are my new favorite arm warm-ups. I feel nice and pumped before I hit the weights.

Standing DB Drag Curls: 25x10, 30x10, 35x8, 35x8. I got these from Kleen, and boy was he right. The burn was insane. I think I need to keep the weight down next time though, and focus on my form. These are going into my playbook for sure.

Standing EZ curl 21s: 75, 85, 75, 70: I kept the weight fairly low this time, and really focused on my form. Those last 7 full reps are brutal, but the pump is insane.

DB Straight Hammer Curls: 45x8, 50x8, 45x8, 40x8. Veins were popping out everywhere during these.

Standing Reverse Grip Curls: 60x8, 60x8, 70x6, 60x8. The forearms were nice an toasty after the curls. Felt great.

Hammer Strength Preacher Curls: 70x10, 90x8, 100x8, 110x6

Seated Overhead Triceps Extension: 105x10, 115x8, 125x8, 135x6(PR!) I noticed last week that I have developed some stretch marks on the underside on my triceps. For me, this is huge. I have never had stretch marks before, but I have been pounding my Tris, and its working. I am FN stoked! Plus the marks are in a stop where no one can see unless I raise my arms up, so for vanity's sake that is a good thing as well.

Standing Reverse Grip EZ Bar Cable Pressdowns: 140x10, 160x8, 170x6, 170x6

Standing Overhead Grip Ez Bar Cable Pressdowns: 190x8, 215x6, 190x6, 190x6(drop 160x6, 130x6, 100x6, 70x6)

Mood 9/10: Besides waking up late, I felt pretty good this morning.

Energy: 9/10: I took AP a little late today, but after the floor chins I was awake and energized.

Pump 10/10: Awesome pump today. It started with the chins, got bigger with the drag curls, and only got better. By the time I was done, My arms were numb. I could barely hold on to my shaker on the way to my car.

Focus: 9/10: No yelling this morning, so I was in the zone.

Vascularity: 9/10: As I stated above, I had some crazy vascularity going on this morning. Those hammers really brought em out.

I don't know if any of you have this dilemma, but I prefer to shave my arms, and chest, and so on... My wife however like me with a some hair. I really want to see the muscle and veins in my arms, but she likes the hair. What can ya do? Gotta keep the little lady happy. Gosh I'm whipped.

Stop being a girly man and let your testosterone do it's job. Besides, it is not like you are going to turn into the wolfman or anything.

I do a mix of both man, I cut it back to a 1 gaurd with the blade pulled back so it is about a 1 1/2 and trim it. I still see my cuts and vascularity and she still has some hair. Then just trim it very 2 weeks. Any shorter than a 1 gaurd pulled back and it will be to prickly for her.

Thats exactly it man! She cannot deal with the prickly hair. She actaully has a Tria laser hair removal system that works pretty well. I have used it a few times, it just freaking hurts!

How come it all goes to my body, and not my head?? Stupid DHT!! I blame my dad. He is the only one on both sides of the family who is bald.

If it makes you feel any better I've got a few grey hairs already.

Shoot man, at least you have hair to turn grey. I will never make it to that point. But like my Mom always said to my Dad "You're just not waisting your hormones on hair hunny." A little TMI, but I like to think that applies to me too.

If you trim it the hair is only prickly for maybe 1 day while the edges are sharp. After the day the edges somehow lose there point or something and it is pretty much normal. You could go with a 2 gaurd, the hair stays pretty soft there but it will still show more of your cuts and vascularity.

Such is our curse.

Ha only a few, the sides of my head are pure salt and pepper now if I let them grow out. Of course I have a few years on you. LOL

HaHa, speaking of TMI, my Dad made a reference once to going down on his woman I was like uhm EWWWWWWW!!! I told him thanks I was going to picture him bobbing for apples in a vat of cottage cheese for the rest of my days.

Hey guys,
I'm really sorry for the lack of updates this past week. It has been crazy over here. My wife's car got vandalized, and I had to take care of the insurance claim, the body shop, and the rental car, so I have had zero spare time.

I will be writing my final review this weekend, as the dust is finally settling.
I want to thank LG for letting my try out AP, and once again, I apologize for this delay.

Sorry to hear that Bro, glad it is settling down for you now though.

Anadraulic Pump Final Review

All right guys, here is my delayed final review.

Mood 10/10: This was one of the better aspects of this product, and really tied in with the energy I got from AP. Mornings suck, and somedays I really do not have any motivation to get up and hit the weights. 5 scoops of AP, and I get motivated. This is not just energy wise, but after 15 mins, I feel great. This feeling stayed with me throughout the workouts. It was not quite the Alpha Male mentality I get from some T-boosters, but the increased aggression was definitely there.

Energy: 10/10: This was hands down the best part of taking AP. I LOVED the energy I got from this stuff. I have taken many PWO's before, but none gave me the clean, long lasting energy this stuff did. I also loved that I did not have to wait 30-45 mins for it to kick in. I could down it right before I left for the gym, and by the time I hit my first set, I was good to go.

Pump 8/10: I got some pretty awesome pumps while on this stuff. They were not the best pumps I have experienced with a PWO, but they were up there. Maybe it was my workouts, but I felt that my best pumps while on AP were on back day. Like I have stated before, I felt like I could fly with m pumped up wings. Awesome feeling.

Focus: 10/10: This stuff really kept my in the zone. I am usually pretty good at staying focused in the gym, not much eye candy, but with AP I felt like I had blinders on. I only saw the weights, and I was able to harness all that energy against them.

Vascularity: 7/10: I have to say, this is the weakest aspect of AP. I did feel like my veins were fuller, but just not crazy full. I don't really judge the effectiveness of a PWO by my veins though. I think that the energy and the pumps really show how effective it is.

Overall score: 9/10

Other impressions:

One gripe I had with AP was the serving size. 5 scoops is a little much for an effective dose. I think that if the coloring was reduced or even eliminated, the serving size would go down a scoop or two. There was really a lot of coloring in there. It looked cool in the bottle, but I think that it is unnecessary. I would love to see a more concentrated version of AP in the future. Also, if using 5 scoops per day, a bottle will only last a few weeks. If the formula was more concentrated, more servings could fit in the bottle.

The closest PWO I would compare AP to would be Jack3d. I got the same clean energy with both products, however, Jack3d sometimes was too much. I would get jittery sometimes, whereas AP was always smooth. Like I stated above, one thing AP could take from Jack3d, would be the reduction of coloring.

Anadraulic Pump is a solid PWO product. If you are looking for a supplement that gives you clean long lasting energy, and solid pumps, look no further. I will definitely be using this product again.

I would like to thank Legal Gear, and the LG reps for giving me this opportunity to log there product, and all the guys who rode along with me.

Man, no security cameras in the parking lot! What kind of BS is that? At least the insurance is covering it.

My review is up now. Sorry again for the delay.

Nice clear review. So far my experienceis similiar to yours. Also the container looks cool but now that I am lower into it it is hard to get my hand in and I get the AP all over my hands. Perhaps a shorter fatter mouth container.

I heat ya regarding the shape of the bottle. Although I began to enjoy the taste of my fingers. :439: A shorter fatter bottle would help a lot.

The coloring is Quercetin! So, you don't want to eliminate that, it increases NO and helps with endurance.

Ah Ha! I didnt think of that. Makes sense. I have a bottle of FRS concentrate which is mostly quercetin, and it is about the same color as AP. In that case, I'll take the yellow fingers. :439:

Thank YOU man! I loved this stuff. I have a couple more bottles sitting on my shelf right now. THinking about trying the new AS-GT with AP in a little bit. Sounds like that would be an awesome combo.

It IS an AWESOME combo... I like the combination of the two very much. I will get to employ it tomorrow for my workouts too! It is very hard to use during the week because I get up to workout at like 4:00 and am at the gym by 430 so not enough time to get that in then take the AP. So I am doing only AP during the week and using the combination during the weekend workout.

AWESOME combo! The old AS goes REALLY well with AP, I'd love to see how the new AS-GT goes with it!
