Pulsing M-drol

YES!!! this is such a great discusion in here!! dam and all the links in tnation great stuff!!! totaly rethinking how my next cycle might be.
 
UPDATE: I decided to just jump right in and see how it goes. I started shortly after my last post on here. I just finished my 3rd 2 week cycle. 2on/2off/2on/2off/2on.. Starting my 4 week PCT.

Gains: Started at 185 ~15-17% bf. Today I'm 198, and look and feel leaner than when I started. I'm definitely more vascular through my shoulders going into my chest..

Strength is up quite a bit, I'd say close to 30lbs on my flat bench..

Things I've noticed on cycle:
50/50 clomid not a good idea, imo. The first 2 week off period I followed this, I started to get acne on my shoulders and back. I feel like it was from the clomid, which sounds crazy, but I didn't have any sides before starting it. Acne is ok, I don't mind, however, when I started my second 2 week cycle, about 4-5 days in my nipples started to feel weird. They were hard 24/7, and if they did relax, they still felt hard at the very tip. It's my opinion that the sudden stop of clomid had something to do with it. My next 2 week off period I dosed it 100 for the first 3 days, 50 for a week and 25 for about 4 days attempting to taper off a little more. Seemed to help quite a bit, no more hard nipples. Other than the hard nipples and pimples I had no fatigue or libido issues, if anything the opposite.

I'll give more updates throughout my 4 week pct. Hopefully I hold on to my gains.
 
Sounds like your cycle was pretty successful. Maybe I missed it - what compound(s) did you run and at what doses?

As for PCT, I think what Bill Roberts is recommending right now is frontloading your first dose and then run a consistent dose the duration of the "off" period.

For example, what I did was run 120mg of Nolva the first day "off", and am running 20mg/day after that until I start my next "on" period. You could do something similar with Clomid if that's your preferred choice. So far for me it seems to be working like a charm. I'm in my 8th day of PCT and feel great. In fact, at no point did I ever even "feel" shutdown even though I ran what would be considered a very "suppressive" cycle.

On my last cycle, which was 10 weeks of Test-E, I got some acne on my shoulders and back that just wouldn't go away. Even months after my cycle was over the acne was still there. Before that, I've never had any signs of acne on my back/shoulders. This time around I am using a homemade acne cream that I came up with and haven't had any problems with acne at all. I don't know if it's the cream, or the short cycle duration that made the difference but I'm leaning towards the former because the acne that was still hanging around from my last cycle is finally going away now.
 
I dosed mdrol 10/20 20/20 20/20. I'm currently on my 5th day of PCT. I did sort of what you said, however I didn't know it had a name. I started with 100mg of clomid for the first dose then dropped to 50. I'm going to lower the dose going into the 3rd week. So it would be 50/50/25/25 for my final pct/off period.

Overall I loved this cycle. Minimal sides, nice gains, insane pumps in the gym... incredible! I don't know how much mdrol could carry over to my off weeks but my gains kept coming during the off periods.

Yeah, it's great, and is pretty typical with the 2-on/2-off. Here's what Bill Roberts said about the gains continuing during the "off" weeks:

But I would suppose that if somehow, magically, that example doubling of strength happened overnight, for quite some time your body would not let you do it as it felt impossibly heavy.

The same thing might be the case, though of course at much smaller percentages, with the increased capacity for strength generated in the "on" weeks. Perhaps not everything that is in fact there at that point is yet utilizable, but in the following weeks the body learns to employ it.

I think for many if not most people, the 2-on/2-off approach has the largest ratio of gains to sides (or pros to cons) than any other cycle protocol out there. The times when it is not the best choice for someone seem, to me, fairly limited. Just my take on it.
 
Great info here guys. Thanks for the cycle update Epilgue. Souds like something to look into. I have been very cautious and recently started running SD at 5mgs each morning, finishing up wk 2. Gains have been slow yest steady and I feel great in the gym. I may up the dose after a 2 week break and continue withe a 2 on/2 off protocol at 20mg.
 
This thread has got me thinking I might try 2 on 2 off method since I tried the pulse method and liked the results. Why not try something else a little new.
 
epilogue- how was your libido... better on cycle or on your off periods.. this is an intresting protocol... i figured if u tried this with mdrol/ test prop could be intresting... if u blasted on the test p.. it seems like your test loves would stay pretty high on off weeks... but then again your prob looking at more acne... and even worse yo-yoing test levels in pct... also u got acne cause your horomones are out of whack in off-period/pct...
