Quick Fenugreek Question

Primordial Performance Rep
Fenugreek

While this supplement has been around for some time, certain people in the industry are trying to make this out to be something it's not. They claim it may act in the same manner as tribulus and will raise Testosterone and will even increase appetite to boot!

So, what's the truth? Fenugreek hasn't been shown to increase Testosterone levels and even worse, can inhibit T3 production! Ah! Not only this, but the fact that it increases appetite isn't an impressive feat. Why? Well, it increases insulin levels, causing hypoglycemia. So, as a result, you start to get hunger cravings in order to raise blood glucose once again. Furthermore, this increased insulin secretion can lead to an increase in fat storage. Throw this out! I can say, however, that Fenugreek is better than Fenuswede or Fenupole.
I was doing a quick search on google about fenugreek and came across this on tmuscle. Any truth to it? From what I have gathered, fenugreek was proven supplement, however they say quite the contrast. Anyone wanna shed some light?

The fact they claim tribulus does anything in and of itself is funny. Through numerous studies, there has been no found effect from tribulus. Subjectively, it is known as a libido booster, but there is no data about actual testosterone increases.

Testofen (a phytochemical within fenugreek), however, has clinical data showing an increase in free-test. 4-OH-I (another part of fenugreek) has been touted to increase insulin sensitivity, but I'm not too sure about clinical/scientific data on that one.

I'll post up that Testofen study shortly.

You cant compare the whole fenugreek plant to an isolated part of it, i.e. Testofen.

Which as mentioned has been proven to boost testosterone.

Bingo. Spot on as usual.

I would still claim their article to be misleading then. If testofen is a isolated part of fenugreek, then fenugreek would in fact possess the ability to raise free test levels. Since no mention was made as to dose, obviously it would take a much much larger amount of fenugreek to even compare to much less of testofen.
