  • Eliminate free radicals.
  • Promote anabolism.
  • Optimize nitric oxide.
NOxidant is a potent blend of antioxidants specifically designed to counteract reactive nitrogen species - harmful free radicals produced from nitric oxide. NOxidant is best used in conjunction with nitric oxide enhancing supplements such as arginine and citrulline malate. Taken post-workout, NOxidant can protect the body from reactive nitrogen species to ensure an optimal anabolic environment and maximize your results.

Great price! Matt do you still recommend dosing pre-bed?

Absolutely...before bed is perfect for so many reasons.

It's even cheaper than Buy 2 Get 1 free; awesome savings to be had. You might not feel it working right away, but your body is secretly thanking you.

Stock is pretty decent, as I just had a run done...and we are pretty much selling this at cost to pay for legal expenses.

We appreciate Nutraplanet cutting its profit down as well to support.

I know I've seen you say this multiple times before, but could you let me know why this is? Or at least point me in the direction of something you've written or read before that I can read for my own information?

Thanks!

Sleep is a critical recovery time, and oxidative stress is harmful to this recovery. Even though oxidation and free radicals are potent signals in the short term to trigger recovery, prolonged elevation is harmful.

Even with a nighttime workout, the body will have time to wind down making pre-bed an ideal time to dose antioxidants.

If you work out early morning, you might want to consider taking your dose of antioxidants in the early afternoon.

I put together a thread with some info a while back:

http://anabolicminds.com/forum/recomp-performance-nutrition/92509-noxidant-write-up.html

I have some more stuff on my computer, but I'd have to find it. Basically it comes down to this though through my own research: It is desirable to have some degree of free radical induced stress after a training session. This allows for stimulation of growth at the cellular level. Now, once free radicals are introduced, they can continue to proliferate and cause cellular damage (unless acted on by antioxidants) by what is known as a "free radical cascade". This effect can be detrimental to the whole process if it's allowed to proliferate beyond the benefit period I've described.

Taking the NOxidant before bed allows ample time for this process to occur, but mitigate it before negative effects of the process can occur. During the hours of sleep, you're not introducing any said antioxidants into your system; this can allow for that free radical cascade to become more prolific by the morning hours.

Now everybody has a different schedule, and trains at different times, so the protocol could be adjusted to fit each individual situation.

Awesome. Thanks guys. Read everything so far except for the link DSade posted here.

I had also read in some other threads (I think this was in the thread about the potential Trajectory product), that you had dosed NoXidant with calcium (and DCP and most of the ingredients of Trajectory) pre-workout. How did that turn out? Would you guys recommend taking one pill of NoXidant with Calcium (how much?) pre-workout and two pills pre-bed?

Also, what source would you use for calcium? Or did the calcium have more to do with the other products you were taking, rendering these queries irrelevant?
