i just started taking Xpand by Dymatize. There whey protein was the best tasting, one of the cheapest, and one of the cleanest i've had. And the product works great for focus (tunnel vision-ish). It does what i expected it to do, no more no less.

yea dude NO doesnt do **** for pumps, just focus on form... i just use the cheapest one i can find for energy. esp only lifting 4 days a week..
but try a BA based pre workout like jacked or white flood.
Ill agree NO products are over hyped.
if you want an intense pump, flex and hold it 15-30secs after each set unreal pump
i'm not looking for the pump, the energy and focus is what i'm looking at. even if it's just a in my head it still makes me focus on more fluid and precise reps.
but this goes back to the original problem, crapping my brains out.

Yeah, I did, but if it's making you run to the bathroom, it's obviously not doing just what you want it too.
If you're looking for mental focus, don't take an NO product. Take a good stim, like SilentBob suggested. In addition to Choline ****tail, RPM and E-911 both have high reputations.
As for Muscle Pharm's Assault - I actually like that stuff, and was really disappointed and somewhat turned off when they started billing it as an "NO". It has excellent doses of creatine, ba and a whole host of ergogens, along with a very potent stim/focus effect. I had to start with a half scoop. The raspberry remains the best tasting supp I've ever tried that I considered effective as well.
Most of the time, it is caused by magnesium and/or sodium bicarbonate.
Sometimes you just have to let yourself get acclimated to the higher doses of magnesium as well. Start at a lower dosage for a couple days and gradually increase. I learned the hard way after I started taking Poseidon for the first time. Literally 10min. after my very first dose I was in the bathroom. You should get accustomed to it and it will no longer be a problem.
