BH, be honest: How many SEC teams do you think the Irish would win against this season. I'm talking each team at the the top of their games... no miracles, excessive self-inflicted turnovers, etc.?
Giving ND the benefit of the doubt: Vanderbilt, Mississippi St., Kentucky, ... Arkansas and Tennessee could go either way.
That would make ND, at best, the 7th best team in the SEC. But, the Irish will play the rest of their subpar non-conference schedule and go 10-2... putting them in the BCS because of their massive Catholic following, while the 3rd and 4th best SEC teams with 9-3 or 8-4 records end up playing in the Citrus and Liberty Bowls.
You don't see why SEC fans get a little sick of the Notre Dame hype machine?
