I have high cholesterol but want to see if i can combat it with otc supps before i go prescription

anything out there good? Im thinking niacin, high dosed fish oil, and maybe krill oil right now?

Any other suggestions?

coq10 resveritrol im sure others will chime in with more i hope u can get it in check with natty stuff bro good luck.

Cycle support/life support is a great product to help with lipids!
I take it everyday due to my genetics......high bp and low HDL, high LDL
Makes a big difference for me.

Pop some psyllium fiber capsules (2g) with each meal, and combine a plant sterol product with niacin. Take a normal fish oil dose as well.

If this doesn't work, you'll need an Rx

It was at least a year ago, probably 2. The FDA required the active ingredient in Read Yeast Rice be removed... In a nutshell, it worked too well (because it was a statin drug) and was a very inexpensive alternative to statins marketed by the pharmaceutical industry. So what you get now is pretty much in-effective.

The new cycle support has grape seed extract which imo works better than the ryr. You also get the great taste of orange to boot!

We found that the RYR was a main culprit in the bad taste in CS. The grape seed extract improves the taste greatly.

so everyone is in agreement that grape seed extract is better than RYR?

What type of dosing for grape seed extract? My mom is 60 and is on statin drugs. I would rather her take a supplement vs. being a slave to the family doc and his lifestyle.

how and how much should grape seed extract me dosed?

The bulk is sold out on nutra :(

anyone know how to dose

Policosanol (20 mg/90 Vcaps)

Grape Seed (100mg/100 vcaps)

some other suggestions in addition to the other great ones you've received:

n-acetylcysteine (200 mg)
non-GMO hydrolyzed soy protein (or just regular non-GMO soy protein)
