Start walking him almost everytime...as they should.
Wow... never seen someone who really enjoys baseball want to take the bat out of the best baseball players hands. Even when a phenom pitches against my team, I just lavish watching him pitch. Lincecum killed our lineup, but it was fantastic to watch him hurl the ball.
I hate intentional walks across the board... pitch the damn ball, or pull up your panties and go home.

I think Pujols will miss the Triple Crown only by average...
Homeruns and RBIs should be a lock.
I'd take a guy like Buerhle anyday. Dude gives you 200+ innings every year, is 42 games over .500 for his career with a lifetime ERA of 3.78. 10 seasons played, 9 of them with a winning record. Not to mention the no-no AND the perfecto. Starting to amass quite the resume.
They should've been able to get something off Buehrle because he's really NOT all that good.
We're on the same page. Pretty solid resume, and he's still reasonably young! Could conceivably get the 200 career wins and MAYBE 2000 Ks - plus the lifetime WHIP is a solid 1.26.... 200 wins and 2000 Ks would carve out a spot in the Hall.
Man, even though he's thrown the no-no and the perfecto.....he just doesn't seem like "one of those guys" that would come up with HOF talk to me. But, I think you're right...if you can pitch your way to 200 W's and 2,000 K's with a good ERA and a ring on your finger....just might get in.
Also, this has only been the 18th perfect game in MLB HISTORY!!! That's nuts.
