My awesome day at work got ****ty with the quickness.

Had a deal set to go through, which would have been a big deal. I'm new here and it's with a client that's notoriously tough to crack. Well...long story short, the candidate I was placing has a DUI on his record back in '02. It'll most likely kill the deal and possibly blackball us from dealing with this client again.

Went from being congratulated, big smiles, high fives, etc.......to F bombs and silence. **** my life.

No, the client is the company we were about to place the candidate with. The job is kinda hard to describe...Construction Manager with emphasis on financial analysis, budget planning, etc.

It's partly my fault. I mentioned the background check a week ago, but the guy didn't mentioned anything, just yes'd me to death. Today he's like "then there's my DUI, I think I told you about that before"......he totally didn't. Still though, I should have made sure ahead of time.

Went from being The Man to being back to square one in the span of an hour.

That's what I said...its a misdemeanor, not even a felony. It happened 7 friggin years ago too. This client is a real b!tch when it comes to background checks apparently though.

That sucks tex, shouldn't be that way. This guy interviewed on the phone multiple times, then traveled from Plano to Houston to interview face-to-face. They like him, like his skills for the position...................but probably won't bring him on because of this. WTF??????? $40/hour gig too.


Wife scored a couple oxy 15's last night. I'm gonna need some artificial happiness tonight after having the rug pulled out from under me on this deal.

So I bailed on the CP girl last whenver it was... Had another chick come thru. But I have friday off this week, which means I can AP with her early and still try and get something diff at the clubs.. I have stood her up 5 times now, and she isn't mad at all... I guess shed do anything that wanted to do her, but I AM going to go thru with it.

How the hell you homies been? Looks like ima start posting here now. Had to sign up for 5 days of community service today, was better then getting 11/29 suspended though.. Talk to my lawyer about my felony charge tommorrow, and my aunt whos a lawyer in tennesee will be there.. She thinks she can get it dismissed... HOPE TO GOD SHES RIGHT.

Texas is pretty backwards still as far as marijuana is concerned. I should move out to San Diego and live with my oldest brother for awhile. At least in California they wouldn't give a **** about some 5 year old misdemeanor marijuana charge.
