Why don't more products contain Citrulline Malate?

Right now I'm taking Ultima pre, IntraBolic + Omega ONE + malto/dex intra, and protein/carbs + BA post.

I keep reading about citrulline mallate though, and this seems like a great supp. My trainings are around 2-4 hours, cardio + strength (parkour training). Any reason why it's not often in supps?

I'm thinking about buying bulk powder and adding it.
 
No idea. It blows arginine away, in that it provides both pumps and performance benefits. I love the stuff.

Try Nos Ether Level 1, creatine, beta alanine, citrulline, and more, 60 servings of it. tastes sour though.

Body Octane has a great ingredient profile, too.
 
CM is relatively expensive. It's priced noticeably higher than many other amino acids. Only thing I can come up with atm.

Thanks guys for the responses. I have a good dose of pretty much everything else in my stack (AFAIK), so I'm looking for Citrulline Malate powder by itself. I'm thinking of the PrimaForce or Supplement Direct CM.

It does seem pricey if following manufacturer's dosing. How do you normally dose it?

I add a scoop, which is 2 grams, to my Purple Wraath. I use the PrimaForce CM.
 
I did some googling and found:

"The minimum dose required for positive effects is 6 grams a day. However some studies have used doses as high as 18 grams a day with remarkable results. I personally experimented with doses as high as 15 grams a day and noticed more profound effect then when I was doing 6 grams a day. Nevertheless, 6 grams a day is enough to notice the ergogenic and health promoting properties of CM."

Dosage is higher than I expected. At $.10/g, this would be $.60 - $1.80/day. I think I'll start at 6g/day, see if I notice differences.

Like I mentioned above, I throw 2 grams in my PW, which also has CM in it, and it works well for me. I also throw a scoop of Green Mag in also.

Well, I'll differ. 1-2gr pre-workout is very noticeable, endurance-wise, 3gr is better, and 3gr twice a day kicks mucho ass. Endurance will be higher, recovery between sets and workouts will be better, and pumps are awesome.

Ah cool, I'll start with 3g pre and 3g intra (trainings are 2-4 hrs). I can't wait to start, this stuff sounds pretty effective.

CM truly is an awesome supp that is often overlooked. Great pumps and stamina!

No, do 3gr first thing upon waking, 3gr 30 minutes pre-workout. It needs to be separated more, and there's no need for an intra- dose.
