Day 10

Last night was great. Dosed around 12, and out like a light. Little groggy this morning. Finally though - no stomach pain, no hole in my leg... so sleep is a friend once again.

Off to Philly for the weekend for my niece's baptism... So I'll be scarce for the next couple.

Good weekend everyone.
 
I took like 4-5 shots of Bicardi 151 last night and I still had restless sleep. The only thing that works for me "well" is Tylenol PM. I really should get on this X-Dream train.

Why does everyone get tylenol PM? Just rock with the sleep aid, dont need added stress on your liver.

Bacardi 151 I used to take everytime I went out when I was in Germany. 5 Shots. Then on 4th of July 3/4th of a bottle left me naked on my bathroom floor in the fetal position. Haven't touched the stuff since.
 
Seriously, Tylenol in of itself is no joke. My mom has some ER horror stories about people coming in from either overdoses or perpetual long term use... doctors would just look at the patients after the liver function tests and be like... Sorry, you're dead. 12 hours in the extreme cases... few months in the not so extreme.

Not saying you're headed in that direction, but just because Tylenol can be bought OTC, doesn't mean its safe by any stretch.

Life is peachy, I just go through seasons where my sleep goes to shite, but not so consistently as it has been for me recently.

I also learned that I tolerate Rum much better then Tequilla. Cuervo Silver gives me a cloudy buzz, while Bicardi gives me a wired, "clear" buzz. TMI fo that azz.

Definitely, that Tylenol PM can get addictive, not because there's a physical yearning, but you just can't sleep without it. I try not to take it more then 3-4 nights in a row without a break.

She actually just told me some of these stories a couple weeks ago when I saw her in Philly. UNBELIEVABLY sad... Like their families literally have to just say goodbye, because that's it.

PLLEEEEAAASEEE go get some Diphen TODAY. Get the generic brand... I guess out there it would be Walgreens. You can get 100 25mg tabs for like 7 / 8 bucks.

That's what I've been saying. I don't know why people buy the pain reliever sleep aid stuff. It's retarded. I always tell people to buy diphenhydramine by itself and they're like, "Derrrr what's dibebyhidramine? is that a steroid?! lawlz!!" - Which pisses me off so I punch them in the face and walk off.

I never took sleep aids because of the Tylenol thing. You got me onto the generic sleep only... Never really use that either, but its nice to know its there if I do need it.

I've been doing some reading on aspirin as being very good for the liver. It reduces the inflammation which alcohol and roids cause.
I haven't touched a single drop of alcohol for 2 years now. But roids are a different story.......:nervous:
I'm sure it's not a magic cure, but the tests they have conducted look extremely promising.
I've taken an aspirin a day for many years. I did it for my heart. Now I find out my liver may have benefitted as well.

Go Aspirin!! :head:

I'm totally serious about the aspirin stuff mooch. Just google "Aspirin and it's benefits on the liver". You'll find lots of info.

I also read that coffee is good for your liver. Not the caffiene, but something else in the beans.
