Dude, as soon as I started using DC sets in my Epi cycle I friggin BLEW UP! That's when I added all the weight. Granted, that's when I started dosing 50mg/day, but still, I think my training had a lot to do with it.
 
Rob, I think you've added some good size, bro. That's genuine opinion. Forearms are bigger, and your delts/arms always seem to look meaty.

Just wish I had a training partner to do those static holds! :frustrate At least I can do them on the smith exercises :dunno:
 
Bro the stretches are killer! The chest stretch I think has def done me some good. Tho it is not apparent in the photos..because they just do not do me justice...it has broadened my chest. Give it a shot sometime man. It's worth it! :D

What would you change the pushdowns for? CG bench?

And how was today's workout out of whack? Are you referring to the reps I am supposed to do on the squats? If so, someone PMed me and cleared that up for me.
 
Okay so I have another bottle of MMV3 on the way. So I should really really make some sweet gains with this run! I'm still excited to use my T-911! :lol:

It depends. What are your other tricep movements?

And how was today's workout out of whack? Are you referring to the reps I am supposed to do on the squats? If so, someone PMed me and cleared that up for me.

1. warmed with hip adduction/stretches and scap work
2. EZ bar curls - warmup sets: 50x12, 60x12; working set: 90x9-4-4-3 (rest pause); I will up weight next time.
3. Seated hammer curls - 50x8-4 (r/p)
4. Bicep stetch for about 20 seconds
5. [U]Widowmaker Squats - warmup: 45x12x2, 95x7 (meant to do 6), working: 145x20 (r/p)[/U]; this was easy and prob could have done 25 or even 30 reps. Will try 155 next time. I know this is weak to a lot of you guys but I just introduced squats back in and it will take some time before these #s shoot up.
6. P/L hack squats - warmup: (just plate #s) 50x12x2, working: 100x20 (r/p); again was too easy. Ill up weight quite a bit next time.
7. Quad stretch - I didnt really feel any stretch from this. I did it exactly like it is shown in the pictures. So :dunno:
8. Ham stretch: SLDL - 95x6 w/10 second hold at bottom.
9. Russian calf raises - this was brutal! But I lovvvved it! My calves are my strongest body part. So I feel like this is just going to make my calves explode! warmup: 45x12, working set: 135x75; stretch each calve for 20 secs, then another set for 45x20...toooo easy! Will try more weight next time for both working and that last 20 rep set.

RDL, SDL, Sumo press, are done in a straight set for saftey reasons.

Honestly, i would do the program to a T how it is laid out, before you start changing anything. Exercise order, selection, rep ranges, etc.

My right wrist is still fuct up. So I am not doing straight bar. I have been wanting to try drag curls and I here they really blow your bis up. I am also a fan of spider curls. So I'll be using those. So I'm thinking for my 3 bi exercises to alternate with during this phase will be Drag curls, spider curls and incline alt/sup db curls. Whadya think?

Ever try cable curls with the EZ bar attachment? Put it at a very low setting, use 2 hands, keep your back straight, and don't swing the weight at all, just strictly use your bi's. Goddamn this is my favorite bicep exercise. The pump is fckn ridiculous and it REALLY isolates the bi's.

I like these as well Bass. It keeps a constant tension on the biceps thru-out the entire range. I do these with a straight bar though.
 
Just saw the updated pics and you are getting more definition and I see some size increases as well. I am jealous of you extending it for another several weeks. That should be an awesome run by the end of it.
 
Stick to the straight bar for bicep work.

Good one, I agree. It hurt like a champ for a bit, but once my wrists got used to it, biceps started to grow. DC training took a bit of getting used to, not that I'm as big as you guys, but it works well for me. At first, it was hard to leave the gym doing that little of volume, it really took a few months to start seeing results, and I cheated by adding a few things here and there. Kept wanting to add more volume and more exercises, but, I stuck with it. Log looks better each day man, keep up the good fight!!

I would do them with a straight bar as well, but I can feel it more with the EZ attachment. Also, a straight bar KILLS my right wrist. I have a ganglion cyst and it irritates it like nothing else. The EZ attachment does as well, but it's at least tolerable.
 
How many pounds have you gained so far?
On the scale..nothing. Weight is the same. I do look a bit tighter in some areas (i.e. lower back/upper chest) and strength is up. So I know there I have gotten a bit of a recomp out of this. My goal for this run was to recomp. I want to lean out while adding some size. Dont we all :dunno:. If I only gain size at the same bf tho, that will be fine. I am sure that T911 will be leaning me out for sure. It leaned me out big time last go around.

Yes. I love this exercise. I haven't done it in about 2 months. Its really funny you brought this exercise up because I was thinking of trading my spider curls up for this.

Same here. Only reason I dont do straight bar is because of my right wrist. Not sure exactly what I did to it. But about a year ago, I was doing reverse ez bar curls and it just gave half way through a heavy set. And it hasnt been the same since. Granted it has healed up a lot and gotten tons better it still is holding me back from doing any straight bar exercises. I cant do BB front raises either :dunno:
 
I dunno, my bi's were one of my weakest body parts, and now probably one of my best, and i hardly ever use straight bar due to my wrists as well. Thats not saying they wouldn't be better if i was using straight bar, though..lol When i use the EZ, i usually grip wide.

The other problem i have with straight bar is my ****ing gym doesn't have one for curling so my only option is to curl in one of the squat racks, and i can't bring myself to do it..LOL

Thanks a lot for the comps brother! I haven't really commented much on effects really. And that is my fault. I will try and keep things more clear. I have gotten a bit of boost in strength despite having cals at about maintenance (too drop fat while I let the compound use the cals to add mass). Reps have gone up on most exercises and not at all on just a few, such as Incline bench. I'm starting to feel very strong. Just sitting here I feel I could pull the floor up with my fingertips :lol:. Aggression has been minimal but it is definitely there. I just dont have much in the gym. It's mostly from road rage and self indulgent people. I cant stand people who dont care about anybody but themselves. Drives me fukcing crazy! :frustrate. I have been getting some nice pumps. And I look leaner when I wake up in the morning. I have been getting some bloating but I am sure that is from taking in creatine (from Smash and Muscle Delight). I'm trying to keep that to a minimum tho. Libido is up...juuust slightly tho. I can't help but stare a little more now. For now that is all I have noticed. I cannot wait to see how this goes now that I am throwing DC into the mix..as well as second bottle of MMV3! :woohoo:
