Jason's Spring Bulk/Cut Cycle: P-Plex, Tren, H-Drol

Don't stress s*** dog. She will come back- trust me.

So you do wide grip pull downs for TRICEPS? Never heard of that one.

bad man lmao...i forgot the company name. hey i was close! :684:

i know man...

I'm trying not to stress, but it's very hard not to. I hope she comes back..

Yes, I do WG Pulldowns for Triceps; not on the Lat Pulldown Machine, but on the Cable Machine w. a bar shaped like an EZ. I try to hit each head of my triceps, so this is merely the reason why I do the WG Pulldowns (they give me a nice pump too).

PCT DAY 21
(Saturday a.m. 6/6/09)

Weight - 193lbs

2BF a.m., will take 2 more in the p.m.
1aPCT a.m., will take 1 more in the p.m.
1scp SizeOn - intra workout
3scp Jack3d - pre workout

End of PCT Week 3 Summary:

So far, PCT has been treating me like a king. I would like to thank all those who have helped me fabricate this PCT stack - Clomid, Bio Forge, aPCT. I would recommend this PCT to anyone else, and I'll definitely be using it again in the future. I believe I could have gotten away with Clomid dosed @ 50mg x 5 days, 25mg x 5 further days (10 days total) for a 4-6 week cycle. Clomid has treated me the worst this cycle with the emotional sides, but I made it out alive. My weight is still fluctuating, but I am still maintaining great strength and exceptional size from the end of my cycle. I think this is it; if any of you have questions, please, shoot them my way.

LEGS
Pounds X Reps
Front Squats - 135x10, 185x5, 225x5, 275x5, 315x3 (NEW PR) -could have gone 5, read below.
Hack Squats - 290x10, 380x8, 470x6, 560x8 (2 xtra reps to make up for F. Squats)
Leg Press Machine (each leg) - 75x10, 150x8, 200x6, 250x6
Seated Leg Extensions - 100x10, 150x8, 200x6, 300x6

ABS
Ball Crunches (w. 45lb plate behind head) - 15reps, 15reps, 15reps, 15reps
Hanging Leg Raises - BWx15, BWx15, BWx15, BWx15

(I feel as though I didn't get a sufficient Squat workout) I decided to hit Front Squats today (10, 5, 5, 5, 5 rep-scheme) and they went well except for the last set. I set a new PR of F. Squatting 315x5; I could have easily gone two more reps but the fkn bar slipped off of me (coming up on the third rep). I tossed on the belt @ 225x5, and wrapped my knees on 275x5 and 315x5. I decided to exclude regular Leg Presses again and went straight into Hacks (also wrapped my knees and put belt on during last two sets). I don't need the belt/wraps, but I used them today to prevent any further injuries, and because I am not a powerlifter. I was feeling burn from the 1-Legged Presses during sets 3 and 4. Leg Ext. were just fine as always. No leg soreness yet, but I'll feel it soon.

I decided to hit two different ab exercises today; both for 4x15, and I did not superset them today as I usually do. Each exercise felt fine and I'm feeling it more now.

I may stick to this same workout split or change it up next week. I do prefer having two separate leg days, that way I can proficiently hit both Hams and Quads. Perhaps I'll go something like:

Mon - Arms/Abs/Calves
Tues - Delts/Traps/Upper Back
Weds - Quads
Thurs - Off
Fri - Chest/Mid-Lower Back
Sat - Hams

I know that the above looks like overtraining, but my recovery has been second to none, and I've done this in the past during PCT and Off cycle with results. I might also switch up Mon with Tues, depending on how I feel when I hit the gym on mon. I also want to give arms there own day, because it's been ages since I've hit Bi's+Tri's alone (build up some arm strength). I am debating on which rep scheme to use: 15, 10-12, 4-6, 10-12 or 10, 8, 6, 4
I would appreciate any suggestions :)

To conclude, I've got some good news. I heard from my fiance and we had a nice long talk. I'm giving her all the space and time she needs, and I positively feel she will take me back and give me a chance to make things right! I am very pleased about this... and thanks to all of you who wished me all the best and left nice comments.

LIBIDO - undetermined (but i feel that it is there)
JOINT PAIN 1.5/10 (minor pain in knees and left calf - from yesterday - stretching helped)
FOCUS 8.5/10
RECOVERY 9/10 (Only slacked azz during F. Squats)
PUMPS 8.5/10 (again, hard to determine when I hit legs)
VASCULARITY 8./10
BLOAT 0/10
SORENESS 3.5/10 (legs are starting to get sore now)
MUSCLE HARDNESS 8/10 (legs feel little tight)
SLEEP (excellent 12hrs)
LETHARGY 3/10 (minor lethargy upon waking)
WELL-BEING 9/10 (hovering up high as i spoke to fiance)
SIZE (compared from end of cycle to current day) 94/100%
STRENGTH (compared from end of cycle to current day) 100/100%

Tomorrow (sunday) I will take off. Thanks for stopping by.

PCT DAY 23
(monday)

I decided to take off too as i'll explain why below.

Weight - n/a

1scp SizeOn
4caps B.F.
3caps aPCT

PCT DAY 24

Weight - 194.25lbs

1scp SizeOn (intra workout)
3scp Jack3d (pre workout) mixed with a redbull
4caps B.F. (2 in a.m, 2 in p.m.)
3caps aPCT (3 throughout day)

First off, let me begin by telling you all the good news. My fiance did call me on Sat and she flew in around Sunday. She was still a bit bitter, but we spent the whole day together as well as Monday (hence, I took off). She's giving me one last chance to make things right, but she's making me work VERY hard. I'm pleased with this, and I will do whatever it takes to win her back. I know I may sound like a sadfuk by sharing this with you all, but I just figured I'd keep you lot informed.

Now for the workout...

BICEPS/TRICEPS/FOREARMS
Pounds X Reps
CG Bench Press - 135x10, 185x8, 225x6, 250x5 (1 forced rep)
BB Curls - 65x10, 95x8, 115x6, 135x4 (4 x cheat reps)
A1. Standing DB Curls - 30x10, 40x8, 50x6
A2. Incline French Press (ez bar) 75x10, 95x8, 115x6
B1. Cable Curls (deep stretch) - 60x10, 70x8, 80x6
B2. Reverse Pulldowns - 100x10, 150x8, 200x6
C1. Seated Hammer Curls (outside+simultaneous) - 30x10, 40x8, 50x6
C2. Rope Pulldowns (negatives+perfect form) 100x10, 130x8, 155x6
C3. Reverse Curls - 80x10, 80x10, 80x10

CARDIO
Bike: (kept RPM above 60) Resistance Level 1 x 3mins, Level 2 x 3mins, Level 3 x 3mins, Level 4 x 3mins, Level 5x3mins, Level 6 x 3mins (kept RPM above 60)
Walked 5 laps around the indoor track.

I had a very nice workout today. I had the biggest pumps ever; veins bulging as vascularity was like no other! I decided not to superset CG Bench Presses and BB Curls as these two exercises take a lot out of my arms. My strength has gone up on CG Bench Presses, but down on BB Curls (I had to do a cheat set on my last set); strength on all other exercises are just fine. Recovery was okay today.

I'm not sure how effective Incline French Presses are, anyone? Are Skullcrushers better or Regular French Presses? Also, is anyone familiar with the bike (for cardio)? I'm not sure if i'm doing enough or too little. I have been slowing ramping up the resistance level in intervals of 3mins (keeping my RPM's above 60 the whole time).

I will hit Delts, Traps, and Upper Back tomorrow, amd I will save Abs and Calves for Hams on Sat.

LIBIDO - definitely a 10/10!
JOINT PAIN 3.75/10 (my left wrist starting hurtin during my B1/B2 superset)
FOCUS 8.5/10
RECOVERY 8/10
PUMPS 9.5/10
VASCULARITY 8.5/10
BLOAT 2.5/10 (stomach felt a bit upset)

SLEEP 5/10 (sleep was mediocre)
LETHARGY 3/10 (i was a little tired walking into the gym)
WELL-BEING 9/10
SIZE (compared from end of cycle to current day) 95%/100%
STRENGTH (compared from end of cycle to current day) 98%/100% (-2% bc i've lost strength on BB Curls)

wow i had alot of typos in my post:dunno::439: hahaha. im glad u read it ok. im assuming the incline french presses are for triceps? idk how effective they are but i think any angle besides flat works them better. and you should try doing thos on a decline too. i think declines the best angle to hit them

They are for triceps, and yes, I agree.

Pounds X Reps
A1. BB Shrugs (front) - 225x10, 315x10, 405x10
A2. BB Shrugs (behind back) - 225x10, 315x10, 405x10

CARDIO Duration = 9.50 minutes
8.5mins @ 3mph on the Treadmill
1min sprint @ 10.5mph on the Treadmill

I'm pleased with my workout tonight. I'm down 1 rep on DB Presses at 100x4, but I believe this is because I did 85x6 the set before (instead of 80x6) and worked triceps yesterday. I usually hit 80x6 on set 3, but I couldn't find the other 80lb db. I'm a little down on weight with Smith Shoulder Presses as haven't done them in weeks. I set a new PR for DB Front Raises, which has shocked me, because I haven't done them in a month. Rear Delt Flies felt fine, WRG Pulldowns also feel the same, and my Shrugs are still good. Tonight was the first time I added weight to my Pullups; I added a 45lb plate and pulled it up with no problems.

I didn't have much time and didn't want to burn too many calories during cardio, so I kicked it off at 3mph/8.5min into a 10.5mph/1min sprint. I felt my calves cramping up near the end of my sprint, but I finished just in time to stretch them out. In the future, I need to stretch more before hopping on the treadmill/bike.

I'll hit my quads tomorrow and take off on friday.

*I gained a little fat during cycle, and I believe I've gained more fat now during PCT (nothing drastic, i'm not obese, just thicker). I told you all that I would diet extra clean throughout my PCT, but work has been busier than ever. I've not had the time to cook meals, except for dinner and sometimes breakfast. I've been eating out and eating fast-food like crazy - This is okay though as I'd rather retain my size; putting on some fat won't bother me. I still fit in my jeans, but they are tight as hell. I'll probably have to dirty bulk it during PCT here on out and that's fine with me. I will shred up like there's no tomorrow for my next sicksickSICK cycle! And now that I think about it, if I could start this cycle over, It would have been a dirty bulk with Tren+PP for 6 weeks total, then straight into PCT.

My weight is still fluctuating, because some days I'm not eating enough food/drinking enough water. Work has prohibited much, but I'm working as hard as I can to make the best out of this cycle.

LIBIDO - didn't have sex last night but I know and feel it's up there
JOINT PAIN - 2/10 (left shoulder felt a little funny, but it's fine now)
FOCUS 8.5/10
RECOVERY 8/10
PUMPS 8.5/10

yea dude....dirty bulking with tren and pp for 6 weeks would have been sick....that has me thinkin.....thats my next cycle...maybe ill steal your idea and learn from your mistakes hahaha. thanks jason! im kinda doing the same thing as you right now but for some reason im thinkin the t911 is keeping me a bit leaner despite my lack of cleanliness in my diet. my pants fit just about the same as they did b4 my cycle...but im 7ish lbs heavier. and hellava lot stronger. i can deal with alittle fat gain haha
haha i just saw this...jacked and redbull? sounds like you were trying to get buzzed hahaha

PCT DAY 26

Weight - 191.75lbs (+12.25)

*I have no idea what's going on with my weight, but both my size and strength are still up high. I noticeably looked more cut this morning; esp my upper body, and I looked a bit smaller, but MUCH tighter from neck to abs (including legs). Perhaps the scale is jacked up? I'll hop on the digital one next time (if it's not broken).

2 caps of Bio Forge in the a.m., 2 caps of Bio Forge in the p.m.
3 caps of aPCT throughout the day (every 8hrs)
3 scoops of Jack3d + Powerade (pre workout)
1 scoop of SizeOn (intra workout)

WORKOUT: Duration: 1 hour and no cardio

LEGS
Pounds X Reps
Leg Press - 360x5, 450x5, 650x5, 740x5, 830x5, 1010x5 (NEW PR)
Hack Squats - 380x8, 470x6, 560x5
Leg Extensions - 100x10, 175x8, 250x6, 300x5
Rack Pulls on Smith Machine (knee-height) - 105x5, 195x5, 285x5, 375x5, 465x5 (NEW PR)

Review for Legs: I decided to exclude Squats today and do Leg Presses (bc I haven't done these in a spell). I set a new PR on Leg Presses for 1010x5, and I still had the strength to probably press out AT LEAST 5+ more. I believe I could easily 1RM Leg Presses at around 1200-1300, but our Leg Press Machine only has one rack, and we've only got two 100lb plates. I had to rack 4x45plates and a 90lb DB on top of the machine to make it 1010lbs (ghetto-like), but hey, gotta make with whatcha got. I went with Hacks again but at a different 8-6-5 rep-scheme. Hacks felt a little heavier this week, probably because of those heavy Leg Presses. Leg Ext went quite well. Tonight was the first night for me to try Rack Pulls off the Smith Machine. I also set a new PR for Rack Pulls at 465x5, and I believe I could have easily gone over 500, but again, our Smitch only racks 4x45lb plates on each side. To add, our Smith Bar actually weighs 15lbs. In the future, I'll throw the two 100lb plates we've got and see what I can pull.

CALVES
Pounds X Reps
Seated Calf Raises - 145x10, 190x10, 245x10, 290x10 (NEW PR)

Review for Calves: I've always done Calf Raises at the same weight for 10-15reps and 3-4 sets. This time I pyramided them and also set a new PR for 290x10. Again, I believe I could have easily slapped on another 2-3 plates.

I might hold off on cardio until I'm completely done with PCT or just walk on the treadmill once per week @ low intensity for a long period of time.

I may end up hitting chest and back tomorrow evening as I'll be busy this weekend.

LIBIDO - 8-9/10
JOINT PAIN - 0/10
FOCUS 8.75/10
RECOVERY 9/10
PUMPS 9/10
VASCULARITY 9.5/10

WELL-BEING 9/10

ive been telling you how things are going hahaha. read my post dawg! nothing has changed. str is still 98 percent from on cycle till now. size mayb down just a tad but its prob just cuz im not as cut as i was due to alittle fat gain. im hitting the gym today so ill check the weight. im +7lbs from the start of my cycle. pants still fit the same as before cycle. i cant decide what to do today though. its prob gonna be legs :/ haha. i did chest monday and o man i had to take day soff from the gym cuz i hit it so hard lol.

you should always weigh on the digital man. thats what i do, its pretty accurate id say. the spring scales are not cool...and i think u should wait on the cutting till after pct. thats a good choice. nice leg press number...your half way to ronnie coleman status!

C1. Pec-Deck (deep pause+stretch) - 160x10, 180x8, 200x7
C2. DB Rows (off the rack) - 80x10, 90x8, 120x6
D1. Weight Dips - BW+90lbs x 6, BW+90lbs x 6, BW+100lbs x 6 (NEW PR)
D2. Ball Crunches (w/ 45lb plate) - 15, 15, 15
D3. Hanging Leg Raises (BW) - 15, 15, 15

Review for Chest, Back, and Abs: My strength is still good on the Incline Bench Presses, but they felt difficult to push up today - For the last set, I decided to do a drop set (I easily had a few more reps in me). T-Bar Rows, Pec-Deck, and DB Rows were all fine. I set three new PR's today: DB Press for 110x5, Smith Rows for 285x5, and Weighted Dips for 100lbs x 6 (last set). I believe I could have gone one more rep for 75% DB Presses, but I had no spot to do a forced rep; same with Smith Rows, I decided to end them at 5instead of repping 6 on the last set. Tonight was my first night doing weighted dips, and I wasn't sure how much I could do or what to expect. I slapped on 90lbs for my first set of Dips and they seemed hard, because I wasn't used to it. Then, on my second and last set of Dips, everything seemed to work out exceptionally well - they were a little rough on my elbows. Both the Ball Crunches and Hanging Leg Raises felt nice.

I'll be taking tomorrow anad sunday off and will continue my workout on monday of next week.

After having a long weekend with the kiddos (niece and nephews drove in form out of town), I've finally hit the gym again. On Saturday, the fam, fiance, kiddos, and I went up to Mr. Gatti's where I found myself devouring approx. 25 slices of pizza w/o the crust!!! I needed a weekend exactly like this; no stress, no bs, all relaxing-kicking back fun. Here goes...

WORKOUT: Duration - 50mins and no cardio

TRICEPS/BICEPS/CALVES
Pounds X Reps
A1. CG Bench Press - 135x10, 185x8, 245x6 (NEW PR)
A2. EZ Bar Curls - 75x10, 95x8, 125x6
B1. Seated Incline DB Curls - 25x10, 40x8, 50x6 (NEW PR)
B2. Cambered Bar Skull Crushers - 60x10, 90x8, 110x6 (NEW PR)
C1. Cable Curls (long pauses + deep stretch) 60x10, 70x8, 80x6 (negatives)
C2. Rope Pulldowns - 100x10, 150x8, 200x6 (NEW PR)
D1. Standing DB Hammer Curls (simultaneous) - 30x10, 45x8, 60x6 (NEW PR)
D2. Seated Tricep Ext. Machine - 90x10, 120x8, 150x6 (NEW PR)
D3. Seated Calf Raises - 190x10, 235x10, 290x10, 335x10 (NEW PR)

WOW!!! I felt like a fkn OX today. I set 7 new PR's today!!! The weights felt light as all hell and my mind was completely set on thrashing them around. First new PR I set was for CG Bench - I believe I could have gone 2 more reps, but didn't want to cash my tri's just yet. EZ Curls felt easy today; easier than the BB Curls last week. Everything else was easy, except for my last set on Rope Pulldowns as I really pulled hard for the last two reps. I decided to load up the Calf Machine with 2x100lb plates and 3x45lb plates for a total of 335 and repped it for 10 (completely racked).

My workout split this week will look like this:

Monday: Triceps, Biceps, and Calves
Tuesday: Legs
Wednesday: Off
Thursday: Chest and Back
Friday: Off
Saturday: Delts, Traps, and Upper Back
Sunday: Off

I feel that this week is going to treat me well :).

DB Lunges - 50x10, 60x8, 70x6, 80x4

Seated Leg Curls - 100x10, 140x8, 160x6 (NEW PR)

My leg workout this evening was just wonderful. My Squat strength is definitely still up as I could have finished off set five @ 455x4-6. I decided to hit DB Lunges, because I haven't done any Lunges at all in awhile (and the time before I did BB Lunges). Leg Ext are still great. I set a new PR on my last set of Seated Leg Curls for 160x6 - But dummy me, I ended it at 3 sets instead of 4 that I had planned. I was slacking around today (talking too much) so I didn't have the time to hit abs.

Tomorrow I will take off.

You know exactly what my PCT is. ;) It was a bit price but WORTH EVERY PENNY. I'm actually impressed, because I've never gained as much strength as I have now during any other PCT seshes.

I had a very nice workout this late afternoon. I set two new PR's on my chest exercises: 450x4 for the HS Incline Presses and 120x4 for the DB Pullovers. I felt very strong today and my strength is still slowly ramping up. I am still lifting the same amount of poundages on my Flat Bench Presses (very pleased). By the time I hit my back, the burn really came on, hence, I didn't finish off the CG Pullups with any weight (other than BW).

I will hit Delts, Traps, Mid/Lower Back, and maybe Forearms on Saturday.

CARDIO
Treadmill: 25mins @ 2.5mph

I felt very strong tonight. The only thing I felt that I lagged on was Flat Bench Press and Rope Pulldowns. My recovery was supreme - I rested very little in-between each set, and hit sets like they were kiddy-weights.

I missed my delt workout last week, bc i was busy. I missed the first two days of this week as I was sick (very sick on mon.) I will continue my workout tomorrow (thurs), fri, and sat, then take sunday off. Next week I will hit cardio hard, get my diet down, and start the Max OT weight-lifting program. I did feel a little nauseas today, but still blasted through my workout sesh.

Tomorrow I will hit Back, Biceps, and Forearms.
Friday I will hit Quads and Hams.
Saturday I will hit Delts, Traps, and Abs.

Three days left of PCT!! I'm excited, and I won't know what sort of supplements I'll start next week... any suggestions would be nice.

Also, If anyone could help me with my MACROS for cutting fat/gaining LBM (losing as little muscle as possible), I would much appreciate.

Are you gonna start cutting after PCT? If so, I would just cut some carbs. Keep the other nutrients the same amount per day and just limit your carb intake. Of course, this will lower overall caloric intake, but only so much to shed weight gradually. (like 3-400 calorie deficit). I would stick it with the supps you have now, they seem to be working well and give you alot of energy during w/o right? With less carbs, you will need the extra boost in the gym.

Everything else looks good man. You netted 16 or so pounds, which is fantastic. I'm into my PCT now. Gained about 7-8 pounds (im pretty sure it was lean mass) and strength increased a bit. Get well man and I'll be waiting on some pics...

Last Review: I've had a lot of fun with this cycle. If I could do it all over again, I'dd have run only PP and Tren for 6 weeks - I'd also dirty bulk it all the way through. This was my first run with PP, and I'd definitely run it again in the future. I don't think I'd recommend this cycle to anyone else, esp not newbies. All my supporting supps were on, but I should have taken more during the last couple weeks of Tren/HD.

THANK YOU ALL FOR JOINING ME IN THIS LONG ROLLERCOASTER RIDE!

Stay tuned for my next upcoming cycle in the fall/winter... and I assure you it will be a "sick" cycle.

New Log will be titled -> "Jason gets PUMPED with Hemodraulix"

-Jason

Good log, I just read through it (start to finish). Sounds like p-plex has treated you well - I'm enjoying my cycle of it right now. How about updating with pics?

Indeed, great log man. Interested in your final outcome with such a dirty bulk. Phera has been great to me as well, either standalone or bridged with tren/sd.

im sittin at 228lbs with def fat added lmao...time to cut up alittle bit. str is about 90percentish from where it wason cycle. i have lost some str. but i have most of it. gaining fat made me look smaller bc im less defined. im sure ive kept almost all that mass. ive gained a good 10-12lbs since the start

thank you and sorry guys. i've been busy as all hell hereabouts with my work. unfortunately, no pictures, bc neither comp would read my fiance's memory card. i will be purchasing a new camera soon though. i'll be starting a SICK new log on 7-27-09 (you dont wanna miss it) with pics throughout... i hope to see you all there!

but for now, here is my current log:
