1. I said it would be announced Monday and not stocked at Nutraplanet on Monday. The ordering part is irrelevant.

In truth the best way to effect me is not attack minor details but by boycotting and not posting.

The more emotional you get. the better the marketing was. I do this on purpose just to trigger this response. You played right into my hands.

This is becoming very unprofessional and childish. You are making announcements that are not happening. In any kind of business setting you LOSE credibility when you tell people, whether they are customers, clients, or coworkers, one thing and either don't act on it or do something different. Regardless of the company you are trying to run, it is just COURTEOUS to let people know when you are not going to meet the expectations you set out. Would you tell a friend you are going to meet them on Monday and not let them know you are not going to make it??

And this is not marketing. This is childish behavior. You are doing something on purpose to inconvenience and annoy people? Who does that?

The easiest thing you could have done was apologize and make up for it immediately.

No offense to Neoborn, but people's comments are not out of USPLabs "hate". Most of these people do not hate on USPLabs because of the company. They are just getting tired of this routine.

And to whoever says "well if you don't like it then don't read the thread". That doesn't make any sense. In the world of supplementation, when someone claims to have stumbled upon a novel herb/compound, people are going to try to find out more about it. Someone besides USPLabs could have found this herb/compound and people would still be checking out the thread because we are all looking out for next big thing.

Marketing is about eliciting emotion and building anticipation.

If you crowned yourself the say all be all in what is right and wrong then that self proclamation is beyond my comprehension.

I've built a very successful company so what you call childish is effective.

Is your background in marketing or you a dentist giving marketing advice?

so now your admitting that you're deliberately lying to your customers who give you the money to make that company successful just so u can market it? and just because something is effective doesn't mean it's the right thing to do. muscle tech is effective but what they do to deceive people is ridiculous and thats why me and many others won't buy their products. looks like i'm heading that way with USP labs products too.

That's not what I'm saying. And this is exactly what I'm talking about. This kind of response. I've been told my whole life to not be so stubborn and this is being exactly that. I'm just talking common courtesy. Put yourself in someone else's shoes.

But those interested and not interested in silly attacks of a thread posted a day late.

There is a thread in the USPlabs forum discussing the innovative extract that is void of the emotional drama.

The difference jsp is that USPlabs will always bring innovative and exciting new products to the table...like it or not..

USPlabs always has the consumer in mind ESPECIALLY as the only company releasing BULK cost effective compounds that are innovative and new...

Who in the hell releases a selective inhibitor of cortisol in bulk only exclusive to USPlabs and a cost effective price. I just may be that stupid.

I do not know as it has not happened yet... This has been said to occur before with other products and never became anything other than hype. Instead of releasing the product, you created a new thread with the same hype and no answer.

Now, this trip was impromptu, but necessary, and thereby delayed Jacob's response slightly.

Allow me to say this in the grand scheme of things, however; both forum-specific and bulk-product sales - of which this sale is both - are a very small part of the business model of each company on this website, and this is why you seldom see companies embarking on sales such as this one. (Particularly the bulk-products, as the cost is high and margins are low.) This being said, you are still being offered an extract which is contained within an capsule and label product, in an exclusive fashion, for a very reasonable price; I feel we can all agree that this type of occurrence is seldom. I can assure you Jacob offers these types of bulk powders at deep discounts to NP as a sign of appreciation for AM.com, and not as a mission of profiteering - of this, I am absolutely certain.

And so, from a grander perspective, is waiting several more days for something which almost never occurs in the supplement world really as arduous as it is being made out to be?

In fairness to Jacob, my duties constitute .0001% of his, and my efforts, while I hope are always on point, do really pale in comparison to his.

I realize you two have an abrasive relationship, but Jacob is appreciably more customer-oriented than you are considering: he is always willing to personally assist customers, and offers sales such as this. Do you know of another company our relative size whose CEO can claim this, and whose CEO releases capped product in bulk? Taken into context, it is quite something!

While I agree with you on the points you have made, I still can not excuse the way he attacks potential customers and makes childish responses to posts. There just is no reason for that. I'm sure his intentions are good, but I think certain situations could be handled better. He tells me I never tried Prime or Jacked.... If you check your sales records you would find both as they were ordered direct. So calling me a liar is uncalled for..

or the next expected day... or did u forget u said you'd have it posted wednesday night? i'm not trying to be a **** but every time someone has something to say u don't like u get defensive and criticize. if u can't deal with not being able to please everybody then don't make announcements u can't keep, and from seeing other people's posts this isn't the first time it's happened. because u see yourself as doing everybody a "favor" by releasing a bulk powder doesn't give u the right to act like u do. if it's such a burden then don't do it, it's as simple as that. might as well leave the message board things to mulletsoldier.
 
The way I see it: If you can't keep your word on something simple like releasing info on a certain day, how can the consumer believe the product even does what you claim... It's like the boy who cried wolf.

This is not true. I had a recent mix that I was going to release but the final extract was hard to source and it was explained.

Besides the above occurence, when did it happen?

yea cause at $19.99 it's not like you're probably rolling around in money or anything... thats like saying i feel bad for the CEO of GM because the government made him quit his job. ur in business ur not selling anything at a loss. obviously it's cheaper because it's a bulk powder and there's no capping and fancy labels and all that crap being made for it. come out with a product mention what it is and then sell it, not oh i have this super magical powder that's going to take over the world announcement coming soon. sorry if i sound pissed off but it gets annoying seeing people who have something taking advantage of people who are less fortunate.
 
for the inpatient ones in this thread.... these types of delays happen more often than you care to know, yes USPLabs mention an expected arrival date but so what? have you always gotten your mail on time? does all your FedEx and UPS packages arrive on the expected date? NO, right?
they are dealing with US customs which are unpredictable, give USPLabs some slack, if it was up to them they would have this stuff sitting in their hands as of yesterday. now all you cry babies SHUT UP or go cry to your mommy!

I don't think people are upset the product is not available, but Jacob picked a date to make an announcement on what it would be and purposely ignored it for 2 days. This is why people are upset.

1st: the company says "next week will announce our new and magic power-pill"

2: the announce is retarded due problems with purity of raws/labels/"business trip", or any other "problem"

3: The hype rise (probably this is what the company wanted)


It's a common tactic? YES

Must we keep quiet and allow companies do things like that? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!

yes i'm that upset that i've been home for 3 days crying... u caught me. i guess it's wrong for someone to question business practices of a company that they spend their money on.

You would be surprised at how low the margins on a product like this is; I also think you have a skewed perspective on how capital is garnered in the supplement industry [it is through volume, not necessarily margins alone].

Will this be sold at a loss? Of course not, that is not business practice, however; to assume this is going to be a massively productive sale is also incorrect. This is a low-volume "thank-you" run of a product with low margins, that Jacob has removed from a capped and label product. If USPlabs' modus operandi was to expand by manipulating an incredibly small target audience through small-scale bulk-powder runs with low margins, we would be in the poor house.

I think what DF is attempting to suggest here - I think if cooler heads prevailed, you may see this - is that the criticism has been put forward, and continuing to regurgitate the same points becomes an exercise in futility. You have made ten posts on the last two pages, all relatively constituted by the same general tone and message. While I certainly respect your viewpoint, I feel DF is merely attempting to say, "Thank you, we get the point."

Of course it will not financially hurt USPlabs: committing such a sale is foolish business practice. I am merely trying to illuminate that this sale is as much and/or more about customer appreciation as profit, jsp; the low margins and nature of the endeavor dictate as such.
