Pretty much hit it right on the head bro. I am the richest 27 year old I know and my portfolio is going through the roof. I almost own my house outright. I do own my car outright. I get to travel every 3 and a half months. But I did get dominated on the correct usage of can not/cannot. Can't win em all. And bro in case you couldnt tell, i was joking around the entire time, if it really bothered you then you could have just not read the thread as it continued on and on and on. What do you contract for over there anyways? Ive thought about looking into contract work since ive been out of the Marines but never saw a great opportunity

I work for a major contractor. I am in the security field. I was an MSG in the Corps so that is how I got this job along with the any clearance. I am not a run and gun but I analyze situations and security threats and oversea several checkpoints. Hiring has slowed down considerably though since probably all of the taxpayers money is now going to other more pressing issues at the moment. But there are still opportunities. DynCorps is supposed to be hiring like crazy and believe it or not if you apply online you will probably get contacted back. What is your background?

As for that chick yeah me and her are no more but I feel good about that and its not like I had to give up the pussy cuz I already had being over here ya know, so I think being over here actually made it a little easier. oh yeah and she had already sent me a bunch of noodz so I got that going for me, which is nice.

The only problem is with all the security contractors I looked at either wanted some kind of army special forces... or if you were a Marine you had to be recon... being a 0311 infantry rifleman didnt really qualify me. Ive thought about even just finding a way to come over as a civ contractor but ive since dropped the idea... well for a few years anyways

So you were thinking blackwater right? They are finished over here. The are transfering that job over to Department Of State direct hires, which would be a huge opportunity. Let me look it up really quick and I will post here again cuz I got offered that job. Maybe I can give you a lead.

Yeah the triple canopy guys are usually like retired special forces guys, old farts. Man, I could not find that job. I think the posting has been taken down because it was given to me a few months ago. I would check out Dyncorps. You are qualified for security and I am sure you know how to do other things too. They would like you since you have a secret clearance. Maybe you didnt realize that but you do.

Oh yeah and when you apply, even if you arent fully qualified apply anyway. I don't mean lie. But the fact that you would come here is a huge hiring advantage in there eyes.

I would love to do private military contracting. But I dont have military history like they want, and I refuse to serve as part of this governments armed forces. Considering the air force, half the army, half the navy, and maybe 1/4th of the marines are a joke anymore. (I am an army guy so I insulted my own kin, leave meh be). And I dont support the government. Isnt there a way to go through a private training process to get into a PMC light?

Sorry man you got to have the experience. You cant just take a course and go to iraq loaded with ammo and automatic weapons lol. Most people that do these jobs have seen combat experience and you cant just simulate this is training.

I know exactly what you are talking about with the military being a friggin joke nowadays. I have seen some of the most disgusting fat asses to have ever squeezed into a unifrom. About 95% of this is the army. It is absolutely unbeleivable. I have seen like 60 year old obese biches over here in the army. It boggles the mind and i am ashamed of them. And the other half look like they were crackheads a few weeks ago and now they are in Iraq. We have dumbasses drawing down on each other alot. Like 2 Army morons just get in an argument and point there weapons at each other like they are gonna shoot each other. Totally full of imbred crackhead losers now.

Obviously if you were a contractor the standards would be much higher than what the Army's is. You got to have a good resume to get these jobs.

and sorry if i offended with all the army trashing but i think there is a big difference in the army now and say 5 years ago.
