Yes, you WOULD DEFINITELY need a PCT, because Methyl Extreme is a HORMONAL product (not just a 'testosterone booster'). At 148lb you do NOT need such a product. And if you are "totally new to testosterone boosters or any kind of anabolic supplement" then I suggest that you at LEAST do a whole lot MORE RESEARCH on ANY product that you even consider taking!

My recommendation would be to NOT use this product at all, and instead eat a whole lot more, train hard, get your staple supplements sorted out, and do tons of research/reading. If you REALLy want a testosterone booster I suggest that you use something NATURAL (Drive or IGF-2, for example), and even then, still do your homework on the products you consider using (you don't just decide to start using a methylated compound!)

I agree It may do you some good but you can really bulk up without it if you eat right and work hard dont waste money just eat lots of protein and bulk up then later on you can use it if you choose to use it do a TON of research dont put anything in your body that you dont know every side effect.

no offence meant but if youve been working out for 4 years and are still 148 lbs then something is probably wrong with your training and/or diet. You need to fix that before you consider a pro-hormone.

Im an ectomorph like you and I only started training 10 weeks ago, but have gone from 146lb to 163lb in that time with natural supplements and by eating and training correctly :)

thanks guys, the problem is ive been eating tons of food, consuming over 250 grams of protien a day, and even taking 2 gainer shakes a day (on top of my normal protien) but my metabolism seems to tear through every single thing i put into my body, any tips?

then just eat more...i remember when i was a teen i would have to consume 9-12000 calories a day to gain any weight and yes alot of it was fat but atleast i gained muscle too...

You can do a LOT with the right diet and training (and recovery) for sure! Kudos for the gains made, elliotuk  Such gains are typical of someone who has never trained before, but after a while gains will not come so quickly and they will eventually plateau; make sure that you keep changing (and by this I do not mean a complete overhaul of your trainign programme, but just change sets or reps or recovery or exercises or order of exercises, etc. for a session) your training every 4-6 weeks, so that you keep making progress.

You just need to EAT more!!! Food, food, and more food. You might like to try eating very calorie dense food (i.e. nuts and seeds and grains), eat more regularly (i.e. every 2 hours), drink a lot more fluids that contain high calories per serving. Another tip: If you want to gain and you're doing cardio, I suggest that you stop doing it; concentrate on the resistance training.

ye from what ive read, cardio is the devil for ectomorphs/hardgainers. Im not doing any until i start cutting.

You probably need more saturated fats in your diet. Put either heavy cream or coconut milk in your shakes . Whole eggs are great, too. It's best to get some fat in first thing in the morning.

Your mileage may vary.

I would also suggest staying away from the PHs for a bit. As far as gaining some weight with a high metabolism. Sounds like you are doing a good job with protein, maybe eat some meats that aren't as lean (steak or other red neat). You should probably pick up a multivitamin, I use Animal Pack and like them. Make sure you are taking the protein shakes after workout and prior to bed, as these are the times your body uses them most efficiently. I think someone already mentioned it, but make sure you get enough healthy fats (cheese, milk, yogurt, flax seed oil, etc.).

As far as supps go try NO Explode by BSN about 30 mins prior to workout. I love it, gives me huge pumps and tons of energy so I get the most out of each lift. Maybe add a creatine supp for post workout, BSN sells cellmass, which is pretty good, but I haven't used it in awhile.
Other than that sleep 8-10 hrs, your body rebuilds during sleep and drink a lot of water.
