ok BUT..i have pills, im going to the supps store tonight should i get some powder or will both do the same?Get plenty of water...and BCAA's if you can (no calories)
you reccomend extend or does it matter?it really just depends on the dosage. the pills usually only are a few grams...while xtend for example is like 11 grams per serving.

I would recommend xtend, its the best bcaa product i've used.
BCAA's are broken down parts of protein...In order to derive calories from it, the body must be able to break it down. Since they are already broken down, the body is not deriving calories from it...even if it is they are miniscule amounts
The body breaks down protein into amino acids, the amino acids are then altered and used for energy.. So YES, amino acids contain calories.
But how many are we talking? Its not even enough to count.
