u started working out seriously doesn't mean you're going to drop body fat. if ur starving yourself ur body is gonna get stressed out start eating muscle before fat and you're going to be worse off than before.

One canNOT give a guesstimate of where you'll be at BF%-wise (unless you had a pic, and even then it can be difficult); there are far too many factors involved. Just wait until Thursday (and make sure that when you are tested it is in EXACTLY (or as close as you cab get) to the SAME conditions you were in when you were tested in August, so that you can get an ACCURATE comparison. Also, being tested using an accurate method (i.e. 6-8 skinfolds by a qualified ISAK anthropometrist or underwater weighing) makes a difference too, as if you are tested using a bioelectrical impedance scale (i.e. weight scales or handheld device that sends electric current through your body to assess body composition) they are out by up to 10% BF, because too many variables (i.e. hydration level, whether eaten or trained, time of day, etc.) affect the reading).

he was 31% fat then dropped to a lower weight but doesn't know his body fat... which i don't think is still possible cause i wear a 33 or 34 and i'm 190lbs

i occasionally squeeze into my 29's still at 187 lbs :) waist size though is a really bad way to guess body fat.

sorry to start a pant war , lol..Im guessing if i can be around 22 percent...coming from where I was ill be pretty happy

well if u just do a ratio multiplication it says u should be at about 27%. Obviously its not that simple but math wise i guess that would be a good way to try and estimate it. I would put it lower tho because of the gain in muscle u must be experiencing.

I like this price is right type game where you have to guess the right number...I'll calculate 2% drop per month (since Aug) x 5 months = 10% so I'd say you'll be around 21%. I think a better way to evaluate this is by how you look, use a mirror to gauge your progress. If you want to be accurate about it then get tested. There are several methods to do this and I read that submersion in water is the best. Other ways are by by bioimpedance where a device measures the resistance across a part of your body (arm or foot) and then performs a calculation based on the impedance. Bone, fat, muscle, water all have different densities and it uses these to make a measurement based upon the resistance. You can also use calipers.
please let us know your results and which method you use
