Has anyone heard from Mental? Last I read on SoM, he was pretty sick.

I dont really expect any prizes, since I wasnt in any kind of shape. So you can give mine to the overall if you want. I'll just look forward to the next one.

You still posted up and let everyone on the site see. 50% of those who said they were going to do the show, didn't. I say you deserve something just for that alone.

I agree 100%! They said prizes for each participant. Do not downgrade your accomplishments, you trained and worked for this, then posted pics. Many do not post pics for fear of criticism, you can learn from this experience and the criticisms.

well in essence you posting your pictures said "put up or shut up" you put up and followed through. I know its a terrible thing... but your getting a prize regardless if you want to or not. :D
 
well now that im in mexico with a new address. hahahaha GOTCHA! Its me Box! Noobs!
I never had the prizes, as far as i know the companies are being nice enough to send things out for us.

All kidding aside. I will contact the companies with the results.
Animal/Universal Said they are sending out Universal shirts to everyone and MAYBE a little supp. gift pack.

Ill have to contact LG and the others with addys to send stuff out.

Ill try to get eveything straight by monday.

I had gotten rid of my sickness but the day of the superbowl there was an issue with my GF that became priority for me. So i was unable to see the superbowl and did not have time to post my pics.

Thanks again to everyone who did and i hope next time we can get A.M. to sponsor this and get alot more involvement.
We are all here for the samething, so if we're not going to do real life shows, these are a way to show what you work for and get something for it.

Just wondering if those other two guys who actually posted for the recomp class are still thinking of putting up the new pics for our little challenge? Im wondering how the others fared over the last few months.

Normally I wouldn't really care, but im probably gonna put up my before and afters in a new thread (not sure which sub-forum it would go under) just because im tired of all my friends asking me what the newest PH is that they should take to lose weight or gain mass etc. This way, when I tell them to eat more and eat healthier, I will just direct them there so that they can see that fairly good gains can be made naturally* without the use of drugs that they have absolutely no business being on, at least not for a few more years. Hopefully the pictures show some kind of improvement or else, well, im just going to delete this post lol.


*I decided I would try to recomp naturally, since there was no real competition for it this time around. Hopefully people will actually step up next time so we can have an official category for those of us who are in :ugh1:... I mean, less than optimum shape
 
Yeah I have a confident feeling recomp will get more attention considering its will be around summer months.

I'm kind of surprised and at the same time disappointed that virtually nothing has been planned in terms of the prizes .. I thought there were some kind of arrangement made/prepared prior to the contest with the various companies, but the great amount of time required now to give the contestants any information regarding this has me pondering . . .

there was but mentaltwitch has all the information from companies as well as the contestants. I can't do anything till he gets back.

Can someone post the final list of confirmed competitors and also the winners? I wanna make sure everyone gets what was promised 'em.

Okay, goin' back over the thread, I saw that this is what was promised from Universal/Animal:

Animal/Universal - EVERY Competitor will recive a Universal shirt, and top 2 from each catergory wil recieve a prize as wel as 1 item for the over all!

So every official competitor will get a t-shirt. In addition, the top two in each of the classes will get a special prize. Since there was no overall winner, I can include the third place finishers in the categories as well.

For the first place finishers, you'll get $150 credit to use at either Animalpak.com or UniversalNutrition.com. For the second place finishers, you'll get $75 to use. For the third place finishers, $35. All you have to do is go to go here:

Society's got a way of rewarding the elite. They get the big endorsement deals and all the icin'. From where I stand though, the fella who's set a tough but realistic goal for himself, whether it's his first show or whether he's just trying to lose 50 pounds--what binds everyone together is heart and determination and grit. I think we'd all agree--those who won hear had tons of heart and dedication. Acknowledging and rewarding that, the regular guy, is what Universal is about.

Pick your items, list 'em here. Don't worry about shipping--that's on Corporate. Congrats fellas. Not about the supps, but for makin' a commitment and seein' it through.

If you're not, then unfortunately, you gotta spend your winnings on clothing, lifting straps, hats, etc. The first place finisher in the 205+ class--I don't have your name/mailing addy either for some reason.

ha im 6'2 at 212 and mediums just won't work anymore. sometimes larges wont work either... I feel like a fat ass when I go clothes shopping

yellow universal for me please in a large size. thanks a bunch guys. seriously i know this sounds dumb but alot of people appreciate the supplement rewards and i think in order to keep these contests running like this one its something necessary. Some people are greedy and not pleased with just the satisfaction of seeing change. I really appreciate everything universal has done for us. I also must say that you were the only active rep from any company helping us out... much appreciated bro!

Very good choice. I rock that shirt when I lift. Got "'77" on the back, signifying when Universal started some 31+ years ago...

No need to single me out TL. I was just around, that's all.
