I'm rather currious to hear from others what they think of this compound. I will remain unbiased untill some feedback comes through.

I like it a whole heck of a lot for sleep. I sleep like a baby.. Don't wake up at all really, until the alarm sounds that is.
 
I personally like to use it on ocassion. Great product for me in terms of sleep induction and relaxation. I know there are plenty of people that don't like it for a multitude of reasons, so i'll take what you don't want.....muhahahahaha!

It may be the most amazing thing out there imo. I'll get more into my stories once we get some people up in this thread.

I will say dosing it pretty high is quite an experience. :sgrin:
 
I like it, but only use it on occassion, otherwise I build a tolerance quite quickly. Usually, I take a gram or so after a trying day at work or if I'm burned out from stims. It works well for me in those instances. I experimented for a while with small doses as a study aid in college, with some success. It seemed to help me recall things more readily in exams, and take away some of the pre-exam jitters. I don't drink alcohol very often at all anymore, maybe once a year if that. One time, I mixed a a gram or two with a few beers. I would NOT recommend that. It was one of the worst hangovers that I ever experienced, and I was quite a lush in my younger days.

It's a very strong product. I take a teaspoon at a time which is pretty high, but it works wonders. If I have to sit an exam or anything that requires me to do a bit of extra thinking and be relaxed (interviews etc.), I have a half a teaspoon. It will chill you out BIG TIME! In fact, I can't imagine it will be long before this stuff becomes illegal. It is THAT good.

You know, us guys who know about the greatness of phenibut good start measuring out doses in baggies and dealing it like a new-fangled illicit drug.. ha!
 
Phenibut similar to Kratom?

I have to try this out, I have used multiple types of Kratom (enhanced leaf versions) and they are similar to the feeling of opiates (vicodin, OC's) is Phenibut similar to Kratom anyone know???

Phenibut is much more relative to a benzodiazepine drug class effect such as ativan, xanax, or valium. Dependence and withdrawl effects have been noted as an issue with long term use.

Phenibut (beta-phenyl-gamma-aminobutyric acid HCl) is a neuropsychotropic drug that was discovered and introduced into clinical practice in Russia in the 1960s. It has anxiolytic and nootropic (cognition enhancing) effects. It acts as a GABA-mimetic, primarily at GABA(B) and, to some extent, at GABA(A) receptors. It also stimulates dopamine receptors and antagonizes beta-phenethylamine (PEA), a putative endogenous anxiogenic.

The psychopharmacological activity of phenibut is similar to that of baclofen, a p-Cl-derivative of phenibut. This page and its abstracts review the structure-activity relationship of phenibut and its derivatives. Emphasis is placed on the importance of the position of the phenyl ring, the role of the carboxyl group, and the activity of optical isomers.

Comparison of phenibut with piracetam and diazepam reveals similarities and differences in their pharmacological and clinical effects. Phenibut is widely used in Russia to relieve tension, anxiety, and fear, to improve sleep in psychosomatic or neurotic patients; as well as a pre- or post-operative medication. It is also used in the therapy of disorders characterized by asthenia and depression, as well as in post-traumatic stress, stuttering and vestibular disorders.

I remember using it one night with a friend, around 2 years ago after being told,.."dude, you gotta try this stuff,.... you'll feel great." yeah,.. maybe for the first hr,..... then me and him barfed our guts out for the next 8 hours. Was it rancid maybe? i dont know,... I just remember it was a very bad experience.
 
I love it. Had sleep problems and a lot of stress when I frist found it. REally helped. Only problem was I built a tollerance to if fast. You have to stagger its use. However high doseing makes you...welll...high :) Too much is a bad thing though. VERY bad. I had a Phen hangover the first time until 3 in the afternoon. Makes you loopy. Awesome product though.
 
I love phenibut as it has a ton of different uses. First, it's a great sleep aid once in a while. Second, it really helps me with anxiety. I've recently been using it prior to job interviews/meetings and it really helps me relax and stay focused. Third, I don't like to drink a lot because of the calories and effect it has on my training. So when my friends and I go into town on the weekends, I'll pop a few grams of phenibut and have a few beers. Phenibut seriously doubles the feeling of alcohol. 2 drinks feels like 4-5.
 
If you've never tried it before I suggest buying a smaller amount to test first. Just like kratom and kanna, people either love Pheni or hate it, it really depends on the person.

lol, a few of my friends tried it a while back and said it helped control the paranoid/anxiety that sometimes comes along with pot. They said it doesn't really enhance the effects like it does with alcohol but it provides a calming effect.

Love everything about it feel and result wise...... also like to abuse..... withdrawls to nasty for me.

I have it right now. It takes about 2 hours to kick in..

I'm taking a gram of it (2, 500mg caps) before bed and it works great. I seem to build a tolerance to it quick so I only use it sparingly. It's great stacked with L-Tryptophan :D
 
I enjoy it because it will immediately induce a anti-anxiety/calmness. If you can consume it on an empty stomach it works very quickly. If you have the balls to snort it (it burns bad) it is effective rather quickly as well.

Be careful not to over dose or consume too much (or with too much alcohol). It is THE worst hangover.
 
ive went up to 2g, i need 1g to give me any effect, I like the compound pretty well, I use the SNS brand product.

In some ways I just prefer bulk gaba though, its do damn cheap and it seems to hit me faster since I dont put it in capsules, makes me tingle and gets me into a stooper that makes sleep the only option :)

I'm definitely interested in hearing both the good and the bad on this product...From what I've seen the community seems very split about it. I'm looking for something to relax at the end of the night. Between stims and my job I seem to be pretty wound up by the end of the day.

Holy crap!!! You would need some huge balls to snort that stuff. It tastes like batery acid lol.
 
I use it quite often and absolutely love it. It gives me a headache sometimes and a few advil do wonders for that. It also mixed with sudafed makes for some awesome feelings of well being....not gonna lie. I love working out on it, cause im so in the zone its not funny. Fun as hell when out for the day at the mall or whatever also. I'm very down to do anything after a few grams. I find it hard to believe it's still legal actually, it rivals things like xanax and comes rather close.

I agree, it's very similar to a benzodiazepine drug class effect in many ways.

I think phenibut tastes like absolute dogsh*t as well. Bitter isn't the word. I can't imagine snorting it.....good god!
 
it burns the nostrils...in a good way. jk it burns like a bitch! i love the stuff though, huge reduction in anxiety/stress ect. when i use i normally take about 1.5g because it takes a lot for me to feel its effects even though my tolerance is minimal. the problem is the amount i use is also enough to give me some negative sides. its awesome for the 6 or so hours but normally after that ill get a slight headache, a little fatigued, slightly out of it, and my vision sometimes becomes slightly blurred (more so when i try to focus on small print or something its just a little harder to see). overall though, the positives far out weigh the negatives plus when i start the feel the side effects start to kick in i can just take a hour and a half nap and im pretty much back to normal. lastly, the sleep is awesome! the drawback is that i sleep so well i normally never hear my alarm clock and sleep through it or if i do hear it, its much harder to drag myself out of bed. awesome stuff overall, just be very cautious with how much you take. its worth it to start low and work up.

It does go well with a dose of tamazepam.

Yes, it has a wicked tangy bitter taste. Tolerable.

Well, I'm not trying to brag. If you recall I had a drinking problem that would put most in a coma as well. My tolerance to things is just a tad higher than most.:trink26:

Well cutting means mixing it with something else. Not sure yet lol. Even tho phenibut can cross the blood brain barrier when taken oral, snorting anything will only allow lower doses, and more effect.

My advice would be to go straight up Phen. Anything that increases the volume is likely to increase nasal congestion and hinder absorption. I would lay out ≤.25g and blast half in each side. After you do the first you will be scared to do the second. Don't wait too long or you may chicken out. If you have a tolerance already (oral consumption of 1g or more) you really can't get by doing a bunch IN because it will congest you. But it is a good bump start to an oral dose.

Disclaimer - don't do this at home kids. These are legal supplements but the behavior is questionable :lol:
