BIGGER, FASTER, STRONGER: Snag's Recipe for a [NATURAL] Recomp, Competition Style!

So as mentioned Formadrol went away yesterday. I've been using DIM, and now I'll add Resveratrol to the mix, based on a couple ppl recommending. Some all natty anti-E going on; I'm hopeful of the combo's effects..
I've never combined both the DIM and the Resveratrol at the same time. Sounds very good.
I still have a couple bottles of DIM in stash. And I always keep Resveratrol on hand. I'd never do a PCT or natty run without it.
I'm anxious to see how the combo treats you. I may break out the DIM for my next PCT.

No question is a bad question...right!!

So the beef picks up more of the flavour, I'll simmer spaghetti sauce for 12 hours or so.

The recipe is on it's way to the wife....

12 HOURS!!!! You sir, are serious about your food :hammer: Damn that must taste good. I've had a friend simmer a Chinese Beef Stew for 8 hours and I thought that was dedication, but damn, 12!

All the work is in the first hour, simmering is just tasting and adding spices. It's easier than it sounds.

Throwing out another pic -- this one makes me feel better (since I woke up at 183lbs this morning, feeling kinda tiny).. it makes me look big! hahaa.
I need to shave my body hair again.. sheesh.

Haven't had a food pic for a minute..
The wife broke out her decor for Valentine's Day (and I bought her flowers today guys..) :D
Nothing special food-wise, but an example of the kinds of macros I've been looking to maintain. This meal is:
4oz 96% beef
4oz ground turkey breast
6oz sweet potato
1 cup broccoli
2oz Romaine salad w/ couple tomatoes
1 TBS Balsamic vinaigrette

Now this meal isn't even quite the norm - since I ran FT this morning, I drop down to 5 meals, so portions are a bit larger today. This is meal #4..
The 7.5g fats in this meal is among the highest I've been consuming at one sitting (again skewed today due to the different feeding schedule).

Typically this is how my meals are being structured:
Meals 1 & 2: (surrounding workout) higher carb-to-protein ratio, fats very minimal
Meals 3 & 4: even carb-to-protein ratio
Meal 5: higher protein-to-carb ratio, little bit more fat consumption (by 'little bit more', I'm talking like from 5-7g instead of 3-5g)
Meal 6: lowest cal/carb consumption meal of the day (still @20g tho); highest fat consumption (still from 5-7g)

Calories holding at @2400; I may have to increase this. We'll see where the weight is tomorrow morning.

Oh man... That's my kind of dinner...

I'm about 8 scoops away from being Whey-less... No matter how I dice it, I'm going to have to go to GNC... and I'm still a week + away from Gold Card territory...

I'm in the same situation myself TL. Actually went into one today(not GNC) and almost ponied up for some protein but, just could not pay that price. But Snag will be proud...got P-slin on the clearance shelf for $29!! Took it today before my w/o meal and schnykies...it's been a long time since I felt that blown up. Love me some of this sh/t!!

Good man. I will try the clearance shelf tomorrow.

Ahaa.. nice!
Clearance shelf eh? You must've went to VS.. Pslin's being pulled from there so they can start bringing in Jacked.
Timber - reminder: GNC, BOGO 50%, good for another week..

Sitting here preparing for the Storm to be unleashed.. fitting, since a cold front has moved back in our area again overnight.

Time to confuse the muscles a bit again, change the training pairings:
Day #1: Chest/Back/Abs
Day #2: Quads/Hams/Calves
Day #3: Shoulders/Arms/Abs
Day #4: Cardio or optional rest

Now, above is the split I usually reserve for the final 4-week approach. What I should be doing at this junction is a rolling routine (I just feel like pushing myself):

Day #1: Chest/Biceps
Day #2: Back/Abs
Day #3: Quads/Hams/Calves
Day #4: Shoulders/Triceps/Abs
Day #5: Rest or optional cardio

Altho the programs are pretty similar, why do I choose the first over the second right now? Couple reasons. First, like I said - I'm motivated! Great energy going on..
Second, I really want to be hitting each bodypart 2x weekly; the rollover does not provide me with this.
And lastly (ohhhh shock): I want to maintain a minimum of one cardio day/week (yes, the treadmill is suiting my purposes). If I choose the 4on/1off format, I might decide to start skipping cardio. Hell, I might decide to start skipping rest days! My thirst for weight training activity is insatiable currently. While I enjoy hitting things 2x/weekly, I don't want to start skipping rest days and stray into overtraining land by trying to 'fit things in' where they shouldn't be..
The 3on/1off format is just hitting me mentally righteous right now..

Is the BOGO sale just for the Special GNC Memmbership?

Snag-o-Pimp, how's that calf doing?
 Oh nice one man, haha..
Calf is AWESOME! Well, other than being misshapen. No pain whatsoever. No pains or aches anywhere bro. My recuperation and recovery has been off the chain!

The GNC deal is good for anyone; no 'Gold Card' required!

Couple supp changes in play: Already covered the DIM/Resveratrol combo; adding a third dose of PowerFULL to my regimen now, 2 caps midday (along with my 2 caps Recreate, 500mg L-carnitine); also adding 2 SuperCissus to this dosing. Timeframe is about 45min prior to meal #4. PowerFULL is now 3 prior to w/o, 2 middday, 2 prior to bed. SuperCissus is 2 upon waking, 2 prior to training, 2 midday, and 2 prior to bed.

Weight upon rising was 183.8, seems to be stabilized atm. Muscles were full and hard.
The diet rolls on..

Snag, what is your purpose for the cissus dosing amount: recovery, pump?

It would probably be smart to buy the Gold Card, even just for one purchase. If you bought two products, pay an extra $7 for the GC (if that's still what it costs), and get an additional 30% off of the entire purchase. Is that how it works, Snag?

edit: Just looked it up. 20% I guess and it's $15 now! It used to be $7. Still worth it though if you made a decent sized purchase. Snag, are there any TTA/RK type products that would be similar to DCP? I'd like to try that out during the 3-week bridge between my cycle. Now would be a good time to test out its effects.

Couple supp changes in play: Already covered the DIM/Resveratrol combo;
If I missed it forgive me, but how are you dosing the DIM/Resveratrol combo? Dosage and timing wise? I took my DIM morning and late evening before bed. Resveratrol I dose 4 times per day splitting the doses up evenly.

Wow, Resveratrol 4x daily huh?
My current dosage: DIM 300mg morning/night; Resveratrol along with it, 120mg morning/night.
You think splitting up the Resveratrol 4x daily is more efficient?

Before your edit.. LOL, no wonder they threw your app away at GNC! :toofunny:
Ah now you know how it works tho.. a new GC pays for itself with a $75 purchase; from there on out it's money back in your pocket..
Couple that w/ the BOGO 50%.. there are some deals to be had.

Snag, you're the only person that I will let talk to me like that.
:D

Storm Report: A New Front Blows In

Day #30 Chest/Back

Rolling right along.. thoroughly enjoyed the new layout. Threw another 'muscle shock' approach into the mix for the day: the majority of exercises were done in the 6-12rep range, utilizing heavier weights. Felt gooood.. rest periods continue to be 60sec.

Flat BB bench, flat DB flyes, incline BB bench, incline bench EZ-bar rows (gripping outside of plate on side), one-arm DB row, close-grip pulldown, finished off with some light BB deads. No abs today since I did these yesterday; I'll get back on track with these..

Feeling SWOLE! :D

haha, Hey, man, I've been shopping at NP for the last four years. Cut me a little slack.

Guess I should answer this. Kinda like deja vu tho (haven't we talked about this before? I'm into so many side conversations right now I can't really recall, but seems like it)..
If you're looking for TTA/RK, check out SNS. I had good results with this..
I just picked up a creatine w/RK in it, kinda interesting (CE2 Hi-Def). MRI product, picked it up dirt cheap at the shop.

Ya, I've looked at the TTA/RK stack by SNS; DCP also looks very interesting. It's got a mix of TTA/RK as well as some other things.

Randomness.. (just cuz it's applicable to me right now, nothing to do with any current topic in this thread) -- Quote of the Day:

"Between what I think I want to say, what I believe I'm saying, what I say, what you want to hear, what you believe you understand, and what you understood, there are at least nine possibilities for misunderstanding."
-Francois Garagnon

Carry on..

Has anyone looked at that new product from Gaspari: Mitotropin? Alot of ingredients to look into. Snag, did you like the MRI Anabolic Switch? I am thinking of throwing that into my post w/o shake.

Anabolic Switch is a quality product. If you can get a good deal on it or use it as part of a mix, it's money for postworkout.

I'm off to catch my local IPFW college basketball team play IUPUI..
Packing 2 pieces of Ezekiel and a bottle of Isopure (along with some fish oil) for my next meal, kinda different. Wonder how much sucralose is in those Isopure's? Last on the ingredient profile, can't figure it to be too much..

Indiana Univeristy of Pennsylvania?

It has to be too miniscule to count man... the last part of the label says:

Does Not Contain:
lactose, fat, sugar, carbohydrates, aspartame

That and zero carbs... bottle also says, and I quote "A Full Day Of Protein In One Ready To Drink Bottle!" :toofunny:

Anabolic Hell-no!! Thanks Snag, will be picking some up(Anabolic Switch).

Indiana Univeristy of Pennsylvania?
Pennsylvania?? :261: Where's that?
Nah, Indiana/Purdue of Fort Wayne (IPFW) and Indiana U./Purdue U. of Indianapolis (IUPUI). Both Division I schools, but small satellites of IU & Purdue. IUPUI actually has a decent squad; IPFW doesn't. But, they're coached by Dane Fife - the heart & soul guard of IU's 2002 NCAA Final's team. Learned from Bobby Knight, so he'll be a fine coach. Too bad he ain't got much to work with - IPFW is horrible. They got smoked bad..

Well I don't think it's much, but sucralose still has cals, and the kind I don't want. I always feel kinda funny after I drink one of those things.. Could just be I'm too anal about diet right now.
Yeah, LOL on the 40g protein being a full day's supply..
Gotta love the US RDA's..

One packet of sucralose (Splenda) is 3.31 cals, and i highly doubt there's more than one packet-worth of it in Isopure...I really don't see 3.31cals doing tooooo much damage. :p

Yes, you're too anal. Relax bro.

:spankme: <-- also too anal

Yeah.. I quit smoking before the New Year, and I cringe every time I chew a piece of gum - even if it is sugarless. Also having 1 can of diet soda a day still.. guess I can't get too freaked out over an Isopure every now and then.

Christ. I drink about 4 liters of diet Mountain Dew every day.

 WOW. My stomach churns just thinking about that..
That is my chosen soda tho -- I groove on the Diet Code Red!

I've HEARD about diet Code Red, but have never seen it... which is odd seeing as I live in the biggest city in the Western Hemisphere... Oh well.

But yes, that wasn't a typo. About 1 2-liter and 3 or 4 20oz bottles a day.

That...is...insane; however, I probably drink the equivalent amount of coffee. Well, I haven't been THAT bad recently, but I used to be.

No comparison between coffee & soda bro - carbonation leaches minerals from the body..
Coffee is actually beneficial in an antioxidant way; most of the 'bad' press java gets is from the caffeine..
