Title says it all, man do I love seeing both Mannings home where they belong. E....A....G....L....E......S EAGLES!!!!!!

Let's not get too cocky yet, the Giants have 3, the Eagles have yet to win a title since 1964. While this could be the year (not if they play the Steelers) it was only a short time ago that Eagle fans wanted to hang everybody associated with the team.

they look good right now, however, so do the cardinals, ravens and steelers. it will not be easy for them at all

I would like to note,.. although it is tough to beat a team twice, the Eagle beat the Steelers rather convincingly earlier this year! But first things first, the Eagles got a cute little red bird on the menu!!
 
listen, I am a steelers fan and we have beaten the ravens twice, however, there is no way I am going to talk trash now.
 
I get all superstitious and whatnot, like I worked the first 2 playoff games, and then had an option to work this 3 one. The way I figured, if I keep working, they'll keep winnin'! Anyways, I'm not tryin' to talk trash, as I feel that would somehow jinx the birds, ya know what I mean?!?!?
I would love to see the Steelers beat the murderin' Ravens players, but I like Harbough as he was an assistant fot the Eagles for many years,... and Flacco is a local product!

yep. i've liked the steelers forever. i still remember watching the 95 superbowl and thinking what in the hell was my team doing?

It would have been cocky if I said this before the game not after we just spanked them. Yes GIANTS can suck a fat nut because their season is over bye bye manning, go join your brother and watch from your arm chair like the rest of us.

Oh and speaking of cocky (not if they play the steelers) you might want to check yourself, you just jinxed your team:nono:

It's not cocky, I'm not discounting the monumental task it will be to get there past the ravens and oh by the way I've been with the Steelers for all 5 so far. It's confidence, they've found a way to get it done all year in a season where everyone thought they'd be lucky to win 9 or 10 games.

Confidence, cocky it's all the same. Either way it's going to be great football games. My pics are it's a Raven's/Philly superbowl. I think the steelers got beat last time they played the ravens (that bs call at the end of the game). Ravens have a serious grudge to settle and and rothlesburger is going to face a defense that will expose his weak offensive line unlike San Diego's crap defense. As for the philly game, it really comes down to how well Warner will hold up to the Eagles D. Time will tell .

Of course I disagree with your Ravens pick:lol: I live in Stroudsburg Pa. When I began following the Steelers in 1973, I lived in New York.

If our running game continues to be successful, Ben will be fine. Joe Flacco will also face a similar situation. My prediction for the game is no more than 27 points total will be scored. As I said on another thread I expect defensive armaggeddon. It's extremely hard to beat a team 3 times but I feel in a squeaker, it will happen. btw, If that call goes the other way it's 4th and a breath to the end zone. I hope the Eagles do well next week and If the Steelers don't win that they win the Super Bowl and Donovan Mcnabb tells them to go poop in a hat next year.

haha I hear ya Fastone, McNabb def shocked a lot of people by hanging in there and taking the high road. I can't wait for this weeks games I'm going to be a mess all day sunday.
 
Fairwell to a crazy season. We waited until the second half to actually apply pressure to Warner. Congrats to the cardinals as they hung in there and fought off a huge run by us in the 3rd quarter.
 
Wow. Who woulda thunk the Arizona Cardinals in the Superbowl?

That's crazy! Major, major props to Kurt Warner. That guy is a hall of famer for this year, in my book.

He took the Lions of the west to the Super Bowl!
 
Definitely a great first half for Warner, pulled the Cards through the game, no doubt. That's the second time this decade Warner ousted the Eagles from the title game. The Eagles just came out to flat,.. to little to late! Hats off to the cards!
 
the eagles didn't even deserve to be in the playoffs, two weapons on offense, westbrook who's always hurt and jackson, and no one and i mean no one on defense, dawkins can't tackle without his helmet first and hasn't made a decent play since like 2003, the real question is who's a bigger choke artist Mcnabb or Romo? and who's the only NFC east starting QB with a ring? Eli Manning....eagles fans are terrible

nope, not a mets fans, actually hate baseball, to many games, the games take waayyy to long, and lets be honest all the real athlethes are in the nba and nfl
 
you guys just wait for the draft. philly is trying to build a younger, better team. if we pick up a RB maybe some OL DL and a corner watch out for jackson becoming the text T.O skill wise, we will be winning in a few years. and all you dallas fans out there suck it, all i gotta say is 44 - 6 go to the state prison like every year and bring in new ppl doesnt work like that its all about team chemistry baby E A G L E S EAGLES!!!!

Personally I'm a Jets fan but I still gotta go with the New York Football Giants over the endangered bald eagles any day.
 
The division looks wide open this year though. I wonder how the Giants will with their passing game? They have a very strong team other than that.
 
The giants added some good front 7 talent, especially dline. I think that depth will make them a favorite early on especially with the return of Osi.
 
Osi is my boy! We still look strong this year even without Burress. Eli is coming into his own and the defense is amazing. This will be a good competition with the Eagles, I can't wait for the season to start already.
