i hate CB dalloway, he seems gay, like seriously. If he's not gay then he's a major douche. I cant see why anyone would be a fan of 'the doberman'
I HATE to say this, but Wand's best days are behind him. I love him to the end, but his days as a contender are over. Too many wars throughout the years have reduced him to a shell of his former self.
Where are Alex and Jas?
Rodja, I'm not sure that I agree with you 100% on Wand.
I think the Page of last night would have KO'd peak Wand as well.
I am the biggest Wanderlei fan, but that was far from a flash KO. He was down for good 20 seconds after that left hook (which was the exact same strike he took from Hendo). Wand hasn't been the same since he fought Hunt and wasn't able to really bully him around. Granted, it was a controversial loss, but that was the turning point in his career.I was afraid of this but... Since leaving Pride, Jackson won a controversial win over Lindland and Henderson. So 2 controversial wins over middleweights, not to take anything from those two. He KO'd Eastman and Liddell, then lost a controversial match to Forrest (I gave it to Page). So, you can argue that Rampage had a solid victory over Liddell, who may or may not have been past his prime at that point.
Pride era Rampage was just as good if not better. Wand was holding his own, until that flash KO. There wasn't anything flashy about Rampage's victory over Wand, it was a solid hook that Wand should have been able to take and smile, but he was out cold.
I don't know if Wand ever got over that brutal concussion that followed the CroCop fight, but the Henderson KO was on the same note.

page rashad would be one i would like to see. machida is very technical and seems like he cant be marketable but i think he can, as a technical fighter.....as long as he can show that he looks unbeatable.I gotta say it looks like it will be Page v. Rashad, possibly in mid spring. TOo close to call IMO. I would like to see Machida get a shot, however his style makes it difficult to market him as a champ.
Also, Mir-Lesnar II, I think Lesnar will have it, as I cant see him making the same tactical errors this time around. I think he will box with him a bit, then GnP him into oblivion.
In terms of Kongo, I like him, however guys like Gonzaga would destroy him IMO. Right now, the only guy in the UFC that will beat Brock (or will get a shot at him) might just be Gonzaga. Crazy how this all turned out. Very sad to watch Nog. He looked like a shell of himself. So sad.
I would love to see Rashad/Machida. AS Rashad always comes in with a good game plan, and it will be itneresting to see what he can come up with against Machida.page rashad would be one i would like to see. machida is very technical and seems like he cant be marketable but i think he can, as a technical fighter.....as long as he can show that he looks unbeatable..
I think the longer this goes on before the fight, the more advantageous for Brock. He will not make the same mistake, and in the first fight, he had Mir beat priuor to the back of the head stoppage.mir lesnar......LOL.....mir is a fool. If he takes one good punch from Brock its gonna be over and GNP into oblivion or smitherines is a good description of it. That should be the next fight for Brock..
GOnzaga is a bad matchup for Brock. While Kongo would get killed IMOI was saying that too, about Gonzaga. He looks like he will give Brock alot of trouble. I dont know, i just cant see one of the less powerful HWs being able to beat Brock, in my eyes its gonna have to be a big powerful guy that can hold him off with some respect for the power. Mir doesnt have that imo.
haha i love how you use those terms to describe the beatings....they go awesome when thinking of the big beast that is lesnar. Like literally you can imagine Kongo getting speared into the fence and getting 'killed' haha.GOnzaga is a bad matchup for Brock. While Kongo would get killed IMO
The Lindland fight was still Rampage 1.0 IMO. Rampage 2.0 started when he got hooked up with Juanito and his new camp. Henderson may have been more of MW, but he looked bigger in that fight and is hardly an easy fight for any LHW. He looked slightly out of shape against Forrest, and Forrest exposed an unknown weakness.
He's become more of a counter-striker now with good defense. That is a bad recipe for Wand to tangle with. Ibarra also taught Rampage how to channel his power better, and he's become quite a power puncher. That hook looked pretty nasty to me. Would it have KOed peak Wand? Who knows....
Rodja, I agree that Hunt was definitely the start of the downslide for Wand. What a terrible opponent for him: a large, powerful elite level striker who is impossible to KO. Oh, and give him 3 days to prepare for him after training for Saku. Once Wand realized he wasn't invincible, he started to slide.
Also, Dana said (and he would never lie...) that Nog had a staph infection. Seems reasonable from what I saw, but we'll see how he looks against Couture hopefully.
Gonzaga was overpowered by Couture and has more back hair than heart. He was a flash in the pan.
Damn right. Couture, unlike Gonzaga, has heart that will not burn and will not relent.A couture who was 16-20 pounds heavier than the couture who fought lesnar. I think gabriel is too slow for lesnar.

Wow... he was fast enough to kick Mirco into retirement...or a least send him that direction. And I remember Randy taking him down and headbuting his face and breaking his nose. Randy pounced on him out of instinct because Gonz broke his arm with a very fast and very solid kick... so to say hes not fast enough isnt really true. He is however extremely hairyI think like alot of fighters these days it depends which Gonz would show up. He does have speed and power as well. I would like to see Fedor dismantel either personally. Its time!
Gonzaga broke his nose with his own knee when Randy slammed him. Theres a few gifs of it.
we are all getting old, however the UFC has a lot of guys who are either changing weight or coming into their own that are excitingIs it just me or does it seem like the UFC's running out of superstars..?
I don't find any of the new fighters exciting..or am I just getting old and wishing for the glory days?
Yeah, I'd have to side with a lot of new kids who are doing a good job.
Heck, Rashad seems to be quite a real deal! Winning the ultimate fighter on a heavyweight class and then taking the light heavyweight for himself? Quite an accomplishment!
Another UFer I really enjoyed was Amir. He seems like he can shape up very nicely in that division.
The one I'm going to keep an eye out for too is that Pat Barry guy. I was impressed with his knockout power. Or the cardio freak Cheick Congo.
Lyoto Machida has been a very very technical fighter, not much of a guy to win crowds but he fights well.
I don't know, I myself am kinda excited for the possibilities.

1. Thiago Alves
2. Winner of GSP/BJ
3. Potential of Anderson at 205
4. I hear about Wandy at 185
5. Carwin
6. Lesnar
7. hopefully a healthy Shogun to shake up 205
8. the emergence of Rashad
9. I like Diego at 155 personally
10. Bisping at 185 has done quite well and I look forward to him v. Franklin/Hendo
These are obviously quite subjective, but there is stuff to look forward to

When will Fedor fight Arlovski?
And is it true that Couture will fight Nog next?
You want to see more? Ask and you shall receive:
Hiroshima'ing again...
So whats the level of excitement for the upcoming fights...?
1)Penn vs St.Pierre
2)Machida vs Alves
3)Emelianenko vs Arlovski
I am not stoked to see fedor fight Arlovski but to see fedor fight always promises an explosive display of raw power.
Im picking Machida to win, alves has some sick power and pushes a guy who likes to sit back and play mind games.
I think machida will not be solved by the likes of thiago.
The obvious choice is St.Pierre , his game is possibly more rounded than otherwise seen. Im also thinking flash knockout.. Serra did it and a larger BJ is going to look to finish quick. If it goes past two rounds it doesnt look good for BJ.
I'm with Penn, Fedor and Machida. Machida looks like a real killer. He looks like a guy w/ a lot of discipline and determination with the youth, background, and skills to back it up. He reminds me of people like Anderson Silva and Fedor.
Just judging by their last fight, where Penn pounded St. Pierre's face to a bloody pulp, I'm going w/ Penn. Given that St. Pierre has much better wrestling skills but whether St. Pierre takes Penn down or not is not an issue because it doesn't do anything to Penn except score points (Ie. in their last fight, St. Pierre's GnP was ineffective..) and there's absolutely no way that St. Pierre's BJJ is anywhere near Penn's level. If I'm to change my mind I've to see St. Pierre do More this time.
Oh yeah, as for Arlovski; the only way he'll win is with a lucky bomb. Otherwise Fedor will dismantle him slowly but surely.
The big ? for me is ... Has anyone seen Machida get hit?
The guy never gets hit, its clearly cause he's an awkward fighter (extreme talent) and can he take a shot?
I still got him to win but against a long limbed in your face striker this fight will answer alot of ?'s if Machida is to be at the top of this division.
Hmm that's funny... I actually have never seen Machida get hit hard if at all. That guy's slippery on his feet..
Because we all know that Tito is a stand-up monster...True, he is very very evasive... Even all out guys like Tito were unable to get anything on him.
But then again, maybe he doesn't have quite a chin and will get KO'd by a single punch, so I guess we won't know until he eats a clean one.
