UFC 92 Picks

Didn't say about his standup skills, only about his aggression. He went after Machida the entire time.

Anderson Silva is slippery alot like Machida...hence "The spider". Frusteration leads to openings they exploit. They are always ready to attack but their prime directive...dont get hit. Machida is down right disturbing the way he always avoids a direct hit. Gotta appreciate it. Im sure Rob will bash me for raising Silvas flag ...go for it Dog! ATTACK!! ;)

Travis lutter sat on top of silva and landed several shots straight to his face at the end of the first round in their engagement. It looked like he was either 1)taking them on purpose, unaffected or 2) indeed in trouble and eventually got out.

Dude, Lutter had Silva and was destroying him GnP when the stupid fool stood up and gave Silva the chance to stand up. (And called him to stand up and fight standing up to boot..)

There's no way Lutter was afraid of Silva's BJJ because he's a machado black belt himself and had top position. The idiot was cocky.

Worst decision of his life lol.

Yeah thats right i remeber that, it was kinda hazy. Two worst screw ups of lutters life...

1) not making weight and having a non-title fight with the champ
2) standing up after starting to land punches on a straight armed, on his back, mounted silva

Lutter landed maybe 3 solid shots while he had mount and they were all arm punches with zero trunk rotation. He had a superior position, but he gave it up very, very easily.

It was the worst travis lutter showing that ive seen, the greats have a way of doing that ala st.pierre, Penn, fedor, florian and silva. florian doesnt really belong in there but has handled a few guys who i thought would demolish him.

You're right about Florian. That guy's surprisingly pretty good!

Sad as it may seem cuz I'm near Stevenson's height, I think Sanchez can easily out distance him in striking. I don't think Sanchez can take Stevenson down either though. In that fight I'm w/ Sanchez by decision.

Who I want to see again in the Octagon is Nick Diaz. That guy can strike and evade well (when he's not high..ala his fight w/ Gomi...lol) and he's improved since his last UFC fight w/ Sherk.
