Aggravated, in answer to your questions, I also do ABs before I start my weights. The arms and Abs mostly get me warmed up and sweating pretty good. The biceps/forearms actually works my arms out pretty well. I think my biceps get hammered on back day too, so I am actually working them out 2 days in a week. The leg routine is sort of a pre-exhaust/warm up. I found that if my hammies are fresh, I draw from them when I do the squats. When they are exhausted, I can only use the quads to move the weight. I also would not have much left in the tank to work out the other body parts fairly after my squats. Something else, my intra-workout drink gets finished right before the squats. I have enough juice left to hit them pretty good, even at 50. Great question A!
