I'm completely the opposite. Ellyptical is better on the joints for sure, but my best deal is on the treadmill.
I like swapping between the dual 7 minute miles, and the incline beatdown - which consists of 2 minutes of walking up an 11 percent grade, then running 2 minutes at 6.5mph up the same 11 percent grade off and on for 20 minutes... THAT will bust you up.
Sounds like a calf killer.
So today was an awesome day at the gym. I got the 225 for 20 for squats. My butt and legs are numb... I have a feeling tomorrow is gonna be rough. Again I would say that the aggression in the AS is what got me through the grueling workout. It's not as easy as lifting when you are "on", at least the weights don't feel quite as light as they did on Superdrol, but man my aggression to move them is there, so I have had no drop in strength.
1-5 Low to High. Rating after 7 days.
Pump: Incredible. 5 for sure. Better pumps than noxplode or superpump 250.
Mood/Aggression: 5. I turn on the hatebreed and flip the switch.
Energy: 4. I burnt out pretty much after my widowmaker, but that is to be expected. Again, not the most powerful "energy" feeling, but it definitely wakes you up. I have absoluetly no desire to go to 2 scoops as it turns out.
Strength: 5 for a natty supplement this one kicks ass!
I know there is a lot of herbal stuff in the AS that must be hard to mask the taste, and the taste of the fruit punch isn't bad... but I definitely would like to see other flavors if possible... I have a feeling I am gonna be tired of the fruit punch after my next bottle of AS. Not knocking the taste, just being honest that I think there needs to be some choice or I might get tired of the flavor.
I think I have gotten used to all the ingredients in the AS, no more lightheaded feelings or any nausea so to speak.
LEGS
Squat - 135x10, a buddy of mine (an older guy in his 40's who is pretty freakin strong let me use his weight belt (its way better than mine)) gave me the advice to do a heavy set of 5 before my widowmaker to help the widowmaker feel "light" at first. Let me tell you, I think it worked.
My next set was 275x5, then 225x20. I think I paused at 12, then at 16 then probably took a few deep breaths at 18. Around 16 it became all mental. I say, if you guys want to tear your legs a new one for a workout do a widowmaker. It's all upstairs. You can move the weight if you are in the right state of mind. Failure can't be an option, there is no such word as quit for the moment that you go for 20. I think a lot of people mindf*ck themselves into thinking that they are stuck somewhere, when they really just need to dig deep and feel the pain. Pain is weakness leaving the body. I really felt like I accomplished something I wasn't sure that I could do today. I was toast after this... not much gas left in the tank, but I finished off my ancillary leg exercises.
Stiff leg deads - 135x10x3 sets
Quad extention - 150x10, 200x10, 250x10
calf curls - 60x10, 70x10, 80x6
Calves - 3 sets of 20 at 130lbs.
a whole lot of stretching.
I feel like a million bucks.:head:
