In that picture I was 210 lbs and flat as a pancake. I have no pictures at 195 lbs, when I was at a condition which could be called "4 weeks out" or so... 5% bf maybe.

Anyway in that 210 "flat as a pancake" picture I was 7% to 8% bodyfat, I estimate.

8 weeks out: update

I am obviously flat and watery, but I believe some good progress has been made since the last pictures were posted. I am 230lbs in these, 15lbs down from 2 weeks ago. I'm keeping on cutting hard to near contest condition, and then I will cruise into my last week, sharply upping calories until it's nearly showtime.

Here are the first 4, relaxed poses...

lighting man lighting.... you got a front light going on (from the windows) and you need top lighting too give shadows and accentuate your definition... photo 101 didnt teach me nuttin :D

even if you cant get in the nice mirror room at night (is that a personal gym or training room????) try a hall way with a light above you and in front of you a foot or so ad see the difference.

Thanks brother. Actually that's the pilates/yoga/aerobics room in my gym. I have access pretty often. I'll take the next set of pics at night, good tip.

Thanks bro, that is a great compliment. And you are right, I have come a loooong way!

One thing I have to say. I have knowledge about dieting, training and every other aspect of the sport. 3 years ago my test levels were that of a 75-year-old man. And I was fat and weak and didn't progress. A year ago I got on testosterone and OMFG I am a new man.

As hard-headed as I had been about remaining natural - which I did for 14 solid years, I am forever thankful for AAS and all the great information my good brothers have given me over the years on these boards. Without this collective effort, I would not have achieved a fraction of this.

So thank you, ALL OF YOU, for I owe everyone a little bit. :thumbsup:

Thank you all for the kind words brothers. Sadly I must report I have cancelled my competition plans for October 2008.

The main reason is, in April I got a 12.9% bf reading.
In July I got a 12.1% bf reading but I had lost at least 10lbs (4%) of fat.
In September I got a 11.9% bf reading after losing 15lbs of fat from the July reading.

Can you say FUGGED UP? OBVIOUSLY the ***hole holding the calipers has no freaking idea WTF he was doing and as such I got completely misguided in my contest preparation. When I was told I was 12.9% I was probably 18% or so - I'll never know.

Anyway, that was not sufficient to get me to cancel my plans. Oh no, not the ole Grunt here. So I cut my calories lower - 1400 to 2000 calories every day. And I upped my cardio to about 100 minutes 5x week, 500 minutes a week, good for 1200 calories right there, plus weight training and fatburners. I was burning nearly 5,000 calories a day, a deficit of 3,000. I've been very sick for the last week or so, no training, no dieting... I can't sleep coz I can hardly breathe, and I can't do anything during the day, I am totally miserable and there's no way I'll be ready for that show.

You know what's most interesting about all this? If you scroll back to April, I was all "well I'm going to ease into contest condition, I'll start early and do a good job without ever getting even close to panic mode." It didn't work out as planned did it? First my precontest cycle was wrecked by a scammer, then the prep itself was fugged up by an incompetent bodyfat measurer...

It just plain sucks. I learnt this:

ALWAYS ENTRUST YOUR BODYFAT MEASUREMENT TO PEOPLE WHOSE COMPETENCE WITH OTHER BODYBUILDERS HAS BEEN WIDELY DEMONSTRATED AND PROVEN!!!

Sadly I must report I have cancelled my competition plans for October 2008.
That's hard news, Grunt. You spent a lot of energy and spilled a lot of sweat over the past several weeks. To be derailed by untrustworthy individuals must be frustrating beyond words. But we all know that you'll recover from this, Grunt, and come back bigger and leaner for competition in '09!

Seems like you would agree with me considering the info you post on other forums shows you have pretty good intelligence in BBing.

Fine you have outstanding genetics for body building. You lack the muscularity that even NFL football players posses when their main concerns are performance not being visually pleasing. And to mention you take 50x more aas/peptides than half the team combined.

Considering the knowledge and work is there....It has to be genetics.

Good grief, Perfection, the guy has made remarkable progress following some severe injuries in the not-too-distant past. That deserves some hefty props in my book.

And though he may not have yet (re)achieved the condition of someone running around on a football field all week, Grunt would dwarf someone like Terrell Owens (the guy most people think has the best body in the NFL) if he stood next to him (especially if they were both in shorts!).

BTW i never want to be 200. My goal is 175-180, and stop. Speed is important to me, just as much as power. I am going for feeling great, looking great, and still being able to vault a fence, or swing through racks. I build for me, not for shows.

Well I was doing 750mg test, 30mg epistane, some letrozole, some nolva, some clen, some T3, IBE's X-Force which has great appetite suppression abilities, and some other fat-burning helpers, such as MAN Scorch (off-clen) and Beverly International Lean Out, which is extremely gentle yet effective.

This is because I have been (obviously?) very pressed for time on my cut.

This asswipe "perfection 300" looks like he knows me from another universe, did some research and came here to play clown. He obviously knows nothing.

It is true, though, that I got way too fat on my off-season. Whatever I have been doing, fat gain is WAY too easy for me and I will have to address that. GH supplementation will help. I will also be toying with massive (30-50g ED) fish oil intake.

We'll see how that goes.

As of right now I am still cutting but not on a CKD anymore - I got fed up with it after nearly 4 months. I am lowering my test to HRT levels or so (300-350mg / week) and dropping most supplements. This is me "coming off". I don't actually come off because, as I wrote earlier, I need HRT since BEFORE starting my first cycle.

Yes there is a point where the blood thinning kicks in. I will make sure my blood clots better than say, NOW coz it don't. I will have to balance somewhere between blood thinning and fat loss. There are studies. I think pubmed?

So you are always injecting test, so you dont have to worry about shutdown? you already are. so you can basically go off and do what you want?

I was shutdown before my first cycle, so of course I'm not coming off trying to restart something that wasn't working. Well actually, I just *MIGHT* but that's another experiment altogether.

Your doses may not be for a teenager BUT your also twice as big as a teenager and know what your doing outside of AAS usage when it comes down to diet and routine, so your usage is your biz.

I just got too say, and im sorry if this sounds cynical, but for everything youve taken, the amount of gear etc, you have very little improvement, i think you need to really change your training, steroids are not magic pills as you know, i think some big changes need to be made, but you show great dedication, and that is an inspiration.

Russian, that's your opinion but from a new guy like yourself, his progress is not at all from just gear. In addition his knowledge is vast, and sought by many online and off. Just know your words do read cynical, but his progress pics from years back to today shows fact.

Im a new guy here, its true, and i am young, but i was brought up in a gym, ive trained for different sports since i was 7, And in russia im very well known, and my brother is known all over the world, you may know him, levi sharko. he is european and world fitness champion.

Now to say he has poor gains with regards to the amount of juice he is using shows you know nothing much about AAS use. Of course if he is now very far ahead of his natural genetic potential he is going to make slower gains when on AAS and will need increasing amounts of AAS (despite what some may say) to provide enough androgens for his greater upregulated receptros( we now know downregulation is a myth). I think the fact he continues to make overall gains show how good his training, nutrition and pharmacology are.

Just my 10c and only MY opinion of course. ;)

My uncle isnt natural, i never said he was if you read what i said i said he hasnt taken as much gear, but has won 3 european titles.
And i do know what to look for in regards to aesthetics wich is why i commented. I agree that when you are a long way ahead of your genetic potential gains are slow and hard to come by, however i also think that anyone with an unbiased view would agree with what i said.

Which is why, I post this as a RECORD. A LOG.

What this means is: here is what I look like, this is what I do, this is the result. Not "Look at me I am so hot". Nothing like that. It is a simple record of what one person does and the results. Does that mean that someone else needs to do the same thing to get the same results? If someone believes that, they are in the wrong sport. Maybe they should take up playing chess instead.

Still, hopefully, this helps people who are in a SERIOUS process of finding out ideas of what is going on out there, what, how and why some bodybuilders do what they do, then this can help. Another thing, russianstar. You are looking at my log with your 22-year-old eyes. I was 23 when I started lifting. So ... You think your point of view is valid on my adventure? It most certainly is NOT. You started at 7 in athletics, and I started at an age you are yet to attain.

You comment "steroids are not magic pills you know, I think some great changes need to be made", getting on a high horse when you know nothing of the situation...

1. You have no idea what I look like in person. You wouldn't say "You make little progress". You would say "You are a monster".
2. What is a lot of steroids? Your uncle needs low doses? Good for him. Some guys take 350mg test and they get night sweats. I take 700mg tren and I sleep like a baby. There is no judging someone else's cycles. One's parameters are his own.

Clearly your lack of understanding is having you post things that make you look foolish and uninformed. Maybe you are a good athlete but maybe also you do not understand many things about bodybuilding.

There was no poor command of the English language. You chose your words to belittle or make fun of Grunt.

We both know it.

When I think of all the setbacks Grunt has had and when I remember where he started out with his physique I can not help but be proud of him. And when I see him attacked by a "barely wet behind the ears" "know it all" kid I feel protective of him.

Russianstar please don't be offended by what I am about to say but you don't know sh1t about sh1t.

...and yet you think you know it all. Hmmmm...by-the-way you need some MCT oil & spot injects & fascia stretching in a lot of places on your body in order to achieve balance & aesthetics.

OTC herbal sugar pills ain't going to get it done.
