I heard the action was good, but the acting and dialogue were laughable.

That's a pretty extensive review...
Movie was OK. Nothing special, really.
I trust your opinion...is it worth it for the UltraViolence?

No. They tried hard, but no cookie from me.
That movie would have been cool when I was a teenager, but after being in Combat, movie's like that just don't do it for me.
Clockwork Orange would be Ultra in my opinion. ;)

EDIT: I read this review... "Vengeance has a name -- and it's the guy at the refunds counter."
LOL - that made me laugh.

Warzone was okay, i didst like how they went with a new story arc altogether... it annoyed me when the 2004 version was awesome. IMHO they could have continued off from 2004, and showed how he changed into the actual Punisher, instead of working on a whole new origin's story.

SOMETIMES, very rarely, but sometimes changing the actor could benefit the series. This is one of those times, Ray Stevenson looked more like the real Punisher in the comics, but Thomas Jane had more of the family man look that was needed for his origins. They could of made this movie rock, instead Hollywood killed ANOTHER Punisher movie...

Looks like i'll be waiting another 10-20 years for a GOOD version of the story.

I never heard of ACWO till now. I am DLing it now. I just watched the trailer where they beat the drunkard in the water drain, got me interested.

The book is even more interesting, but you have to get used to the odd language/writing style.
Burgess' style is disjointing, for sure.
