MACHINE SHOULDER PRESSES

240 X 8-5-3 = 15 total reps. DC style rest-pauses.
150 X 20

I was really surprised at how light that first set actually felt. I could've gutted out a couple more reps. But this is only the first week of an 8 week blast cycle. More to come! :head:


ONE-ARM CABLE FRONT RAISES

80 X 10
50 X 15

First set was kinda heavy. Forced on through it, of course. It made that second set feel all the lighter. :thumbsup:


ONE-ARM CABLE SIDE LATERALS

70 X 10
50 X 15

Walking the tightrope of trying to use enough weight to force new muscle growth and at the same time keep my form strict. Got to have the best of both worlds.

ONE-ARM CABLE BENTOVER REAR LATERALS

I have the hardest time trying to keep my overly-powerful traps out of this movement. I may switch over to some DB rear laterals done lying face down on an low angled incline bench to isolate them more. :think:

DB Side Laterals: 40's X 12 DB Shoulder Presses: 50's X 15

This single little pre-exhasut set blew up my delts like I was pumping air into them. Incredible! :twisted:

I like these. Just not as much as my blaster-bar hammer curls. Back to those next week! But these do isolate the top of the forearms better. I'm just much weaker on these.

I'm not exaggerating when I say I love these babies!! Great feel to them. I can find the groove so easy here. More weight next time!

3 TRI-SETS OF KNEELING ROPE CRUNCHES/LYING LEG RAISES/REVERSE CRUNCHES

3 sets of 25 reps each. No rest between the 3 exercises and only 30 seconds rest between each tri-set.


I'm getting off to a much stronger blast this time around than on my previous 2 blast cycles. I'm expecting some big numbers here shortly. My intensity, drive, and motivation are off the page at the moment. I'm on a roll here!!

It's going great Silver!! I wished I had switched to this type of split much earlier. I can really summon up lots of power for short bursts. The Berzerker Rage can only last for so long, before it totally drains you. And since I love working out so very much, the more frequent sessions keep my appetite whetted for more destruction!! :food::saw::numbered::gore:
 
Lying down on an inclined bench will isolate the rear delts much better. 150x20 widowmaker press had to get some burn going. I love the Inner hammers or pinwheels too. I just look in the mirror and growl while firing these out. Really gets my alpha on!! Lookin' good TG.
 
TG, now you got me interested in trying this modified DC training!

as i understand it, you work your way up to your heavy rest-pause set, then do a lighter almost "build up the pump" high rep set to get all the energy fully out of your muscles. is this about right?

I was clear of any performance enhancers 2 months after my H-Drol run... I'm sure its different for anyone.

If you're taking a piss test for work, they don't test for steroids. They test almost exclusively for weed, which is plain retarded - unless you show up drunk, or had some coke last night.

They just started busting cops here in Phoenix for roids. There was an article in the paper about a month ago.
 
I am almost positive the police force does not spend the large amount of money it costs to check each of their police officers for performance enhancing drugs. Your drug check should be like Timber said... to make sure you aren't a stoner like me. :lol:

A lot of cops around here juice... I see them at the gym all the time. I'm not a very big fan of cops though. A lot of corruption around here.

Well, my routine puts the emphasis on the "modified". It isn't much like true DC training at all really. I do more sets, more isolation movements, and then there's my notorious "widowmaker" type back off sets.

With the heavy low rep rest-pause sets I get testosterone surges. With the higher rep finishing sets I get huge increases in HGH secretion. So, I'm getting the best of both possible worlds here.

yeah, i got wojo's DVD. DC seems too low volume for me, so what you're doing seems to make more sense. i'll have to reread your training posts to figure out exactly what you've done :)
 
I miss having a log. Had such a good workout today, and nowhere to keep track... I'm like a king without a country. :lol:
I feel like I've dragged this thread out to be honest. After PCT I start calling it a "3 Week Formestane Bridge"!! :lol:

I think everyone sees what I'm up to. If I weren't doing some kind of AAS or supplement review log, I would at least do a training log just to keep in touch with everyone. You should do the same bro. I miss your threads dude. We need some more of Timber beating down!! :hammer:

That 1 week Super frontload into a 6 week Epi cycle we've been talking about in G-Money's thread still sounds exciting to me. I would do that one in a heart beat. And I might soon. I have so much freakin' gear in stash!! :eek:

I swore I would never do it, but I think I am gonna try to train DC for 6 months or so and see if I don't pack on the pounds... the lack of volume is gonna drive me nuts... but I would love to gain some more strength, and I already know how to work volume, so I think it's time to give something new a chance.

that's my issue with DC as well. this follow up 20 rep sets now has me wondering if that would keep me happy.

Eh, I figure the idea is to push yourself to your absolute limit... I imagine that one wouldn't want to do some volume after you hit absolute max failure like 4 times in the same set. I think doing the opposite of what one has been doing for years should be good for anyone. I am gonna give it a shot (and I SWORE I never would)... but it seems to produce gains for most people, and I am one of those sicko's that loves the pain... so lets try this new type of torture.

I asked JJ about that... I'm going to defer to whatever they want me to run. But of course I'm all about stackin. :twisted: They are showcasing two products though, and I want to be able to give my reactions to those without interference (unless they dictate a nasty stack:lol:)

Unless they dictate to you what dose to take, you should read up on the conversion rates and decide your dose by that measure. I believe it is 8% to 1-T when dosed orally. That calls for a bit of a dose... I believe the bottle states to run 100-300 mg ED for 4-6 weeks... you might want to hook up another bottle. 300mg is 24mg of 1T. Not sure of the effective dose... but from back in the day big cat reccomends a 300mg dose of 1T!!!! *check the 1T info @ bb.com to read about it.

that sounds pretty high. I would shoot for trying to get 40mg 1T, as that is around the effective dose one would get from the topical administration of PP's 1T. Not sure if one should dose that high with 1AD orals though... just some stuff to toss around in your head... I am rambling on at this point... it's late... time for sups and bed.
 
I started DC training 2 years ago and have gained 15 lbs. That is also without any super sups involved and being 49. I stayed strictly with the low volume.

3 Week Formestane Bridge Cycle--day 20

Fasted Morning HIIT Cardio: 25 Minutes.

Feelin' good this morning people!! :woohoo: After my cardio I had a 40 gram protein whey shake (with 5 grams each of Glutamine and Creatine Mono) and a big bowl of oatmeal.

I'm sitting here typing this and I'm freakin' pumped! My muscles looked swollen. Veins stickin' out and shit. Like I've just hit the iron. I did do a lot of flexing after my cardio, but dayumm!!! :eek:

I'm going to be a little late starting my recomp cycle. It was supposed to start tomorrow but I'm waiting for the supp-stack to arrive in the mail. Just as soon as it gets here, the recomp begins!! :head:
