USP labs marketing department strikes again

hey are there any Usp moderators that wanna hook me up with the 3 for $15 and free shipping ill buy right now! Ive been gone for a while and the economy hit me a little harder than expected but i'm down. $45 x3 + free shipping who wouldnt jump on that waggon?

Definitely not a smart thing for the seller given the economy and the fact that the product has just been released. At this point, the seller has not made any profit from the product, and is still paying back/off the investments he put into the product. Maybe a year or so down the road this wouldn't be a bad idea. Especially for a company like MT.

Yeah, you might be right if the fact wasn't that most of the time, well, ALL of the time, if the product that's released early is said to be a "steal" then it will always show up later at a higher price on NP or PN or somewhere, that's public knowledge.

That's just everyday online retail, especially in the supplement industry...I am lost to where you got lost?

I am not sure how you were "duped" into believing that the product would continue to be at the same price forever being that PRIME was done the same way and NP had it for more, when it finally hit the shelf.

Just sell 1 bucket off to someone at your gym and recover the difference.

holy sh!t u people have issues. i wasn't whining i simply asked who would have still bought 3 if they knew it was going to be on nutra planet for $5 more. because when a new product comes out most people don't jump right in and buy 3 without knowing if they like it or not. it's not a hard concept to understand

this is true. but i'm just amazed how people can't simply read what was written. i never said anything was wrong with it and i never bashed usp for anything. if u sell a product at a discounted price in which you make less profit it's obviously in the companies best interest to get you to purchase more of that product. selling 3 at $15 is better than selling 1 at $15. it's why wal-mart thrives when others are failing, low profit high volume, if that wasn't usp's intent then i guess i'm reading into it wrong but nobody involved with them has come out and said otherwise. so if people wanna take a simple question and an observation and blow it out of proportion then i feel sorry for them.

In retail they tell you that "key words" are the most important thing to sell a product. Your wording is what got you into trouble in the first quote...it was your approach....

Ummmm NO it's just that this topic has been beat like a DEAD and I mean DEAD horse...but people like you and this other guy continue to bring it up...people continue to look for the smallest little crack to bring it back up it's flat out ridiculous and annoying. You were originally mad because USP said this would be the best IC release to date...correct? "yes"

Next according to you you bought the product thinking it was going to be released to the public at a much higher price......right? "yes"

Regardless to the fact that that this happened you like the product and USP's products...correct.."yes"

Then you say that you wouldnt have bought three if you knew it would be come to Nutra at only $5 higher...correct..."yes"

So lets get this straight...Nutraplanet then purchases stock from USP and put's it at a very low introductory price....

So now your are upset and have buyers remorse because Nutraplanet priced supplies they bought from USP at a low price?.....seriously now? How can you be mad at USP?

All in all you would have never started this thread if Nutra priced this product at $29.99 right from the get go, but they didn't they did a very great think for the AM family.....:thumbsup:

So the question I pose to you JSP is....If Nutra priced their stock THEY bought from USP at $29.99, would you have started this thread?

People do not like us because we are sky rocketing to the top, and hate is the natural progression...

We give a deal, and they still hate. I could give it away free and people will still hate...

All said in done you can disagree with our marketing but our innovation is second to none.

You are not whining. People are interpreting it incorrectly. What you are saying and what people think you are saying are two different things which are (obviously) not easy to tell the difference between. And since they don't want to stand corrected for their misinterpretation, the witch hunt will continue.

Nice analysis... Too bad it was all up to the interpretation and the "message" might not have been missed if the original post wasn't read how people wanted to read it, instead of reading it as it was said.

A little thought experiment here:

Say you are going to try a new activity. And you go into it thinking you are going to have a miserable time. Well, chances are the entire time you are discrediting any value from the activity. Has this ever happened before? What if you went in with an open mind? Do you think it would turn out to be any different?

Maybe the name of the post lead you astray. What if you interpreted that as a compliment instead of a dis? (In this case, the two are one in the same...) Would you have read the post differently?

Dude, I just posted a long a$$ explanation on why he got it the way he did. No one is interpreting him incorrectly. I had the exact of what he MEANT to convey, but it did not come out as that way...especially when his thread title reads the way it does....

hey, jsp0785, no one is hating on you. Just watch how you approach things. Being more professional will get you somewhere much faster than being a total tool.
