btw were my carbs a lil high at 51? i was thinkin so, not sure tho.

also i just received two bottles of max out and a bottle of RPM, im assuming it would be best to run these two after my cut, lookin for some guidance in regards to that.
 
Yes, I would lower your carbs if you can; as low as possible. I'm at 22.5 daily right now and I still think its too high :lol:
 
ya that was my feeling too, the whey, walnuts, and mixed veggies seemed to contribute a lot, hope to be able to bring that down soon. also i believe the Shred Matrix arrived today, will have to go pick it up tomorrow. will let you guys know for sure tomorrow evening
 
Nix the mixed veggies. Unless they're fresh they are pretty garbage. Spring for some spinach and carb/calorie free dressing instead. With the whey, if you can afford it, go out and grab or order some low carb whey. If not, just adjust your diet to exclude whey. I haven't taken whey in a while just because I don't need to supplement my diet with extra protein.

Also, I wanna make sure you aren't going too hard on morning fasted cardio. Shouldn't be more than a brisk incline walk.

alright guys, this morning i received two bottles(60 days worth) of MusclePharm Shred Matrix, also a musclepharm t-shirt, i guess i must look fatter than i thot in my pics cuz they sent me a large... hahaha jk jk thanks guys. I dosed my first pack today around 1 o'clock this afternoon.

FIRST IMPRESSION:first off i like the packets, it makes it easier to keep up with all of them, also they were relatively easy to swallow.
Energy: Gave me a clean energy boost, not the jittery feeling that i was expecting.
INTENSITY: Felt good in the weight room, had good energy even bein on this low carb diet.
OTHER NOTES: Had a good pump, appetite has seemed somewhat suppressed, not as many cravings as usual, especially for the carbs.
OVERALL: So far im very pleased and looking forward to getting a better feel for the product, it seems that it will be beneficial for my cut.
 
alright well i have a question for the musclepharm reps. Do u think it would be best to do 60 days at one pack a day, or 30 days at one pack and 15 at two?

Also sorry i didnt get a chance to post up diet and workout yesterday, got rushed. hopefully will be better today.

I think it depends on how well you respond. If you delay taking a pack as long as you can throughout the day and you can get away with 1 pack, then do that. If one a day doesn't last you long enough, then up it to two. So, if you feel like the effects last you 12 hours, then you're probably fine with 1 a day. If it's only 4-5 hours, you might want two.

For me it was always dependent on my activity level. On a sedentary day I would only need one. On a day where I worked out and played 18 holes I would need 2.

You can do the dosing however you feel most tolerable to. I personally like taking one Shred Pack every morning and then if I am working out in the afternoon I will take one later in the day as well. Shred is pretty strong, so you may find it best to plan on only using one a day and then play it by ear if you need a second for that given day. If you choose to do the 2 packs a day dosing, I would recommend taking a couple days of the week off all together. For most people no more than 10 packs every 7 days will be needed, so either 5 days of 2 packs or packs everyday with an extra before three workouts etc.

Edit: If you end up with two packs a day make sure you track your calories, otherwise you may not eat nearly enough in a day. The appetite suppression has been very noticeable for myself and some of the others that have used it so far.

ya i did, thank you guys btw, and i took my first dose yesterday at 1 o'clock, and today at the same time as rugger had suggested. it def helps with the afternoon carb cravings. i'm going to try dosing in the morning this weekend tho and from what i feel then i'll decide how i'll continue dosing protocol

haha ya, the best part is my girlfriend surprised me with the tickets, she bought em a while back for like 100 a piece, ours are now worth over 750 a piece... good thing i didnt buy cuz id be sellin the mofo's lol
 
im from ok, and D@MN if OU didnt beat some a$$ lol i couldnt believe it.
Also i dosed the Shred Matrix ini the morning saturday and today, i was blown away by the appetite suppression that i experienced. saturday i didnt have any meals planned out and at the end of the day assessed what i had eaten and it was barely anything.
 
Sorry i havent been able to post as much in the past two days, been out and away from the computer, and when i can be near one its only for a lil while. this will get better tho
 
Lookin' good so far!

One thing: It just seems like 2200 Calories or so is pretty low for a guy like you to be eating, even though you are cutting. At a risk for losing some muscle. It is good that you are taking BCAA's. :thumbsup:
 
ya, i had wondered about that previously but it seems to be somewhat average as to what ive seen, i may raise the cals up a lil tho. of course ive been sick since monday and have been able to eat very little. im a lil worried to step on the scale as my calories have been d@mn near zero and its been freakin me out lol
 
When I was working out 3 days a week, with cardio interspersed, I was eating 2000-2200 cals and I went from 23% BF to 19% in a month. A lot of people thought that I was eating too much in the beginning but it ended up being the right amount. :)

alright well i woke up this morning and am feeling considerably better thankfully, so hopefully i'll be able to get back on track with the log, sorry bout that. One thing i forgot to add at the beginning was my starting weight which was 188.2, unfortunately i am now 182.4:( this being sick stuff has really messed with my plans, granted some of it is water weight lost due to the diuretic in the shred matrix(hopefully most of it) lol im not sure im so fortunate tho. also should be able to get back in the weight room here in the next few, im gonna make sure im a hundred percent tho before i make that step, hopefully ill be able to discern that after today.
 
alright, well after another day of recuperation i think im back to normal...AND I AM EXCITED!!!!! ill be waiting till monday to lift but will be back on track with diet and everything tomorrow!:) all hail the resumed log!! lol
 
alright well today was a good day, i dosed my shred matrix 1 hr pre-workout, the energy boost was welcome, also i enjoy dosing later in the day because it really helps with carb cravings. my diet today consisted of cals pro fat carbs

alright well today was just kinda hectic, had a lot of stuff goin on and diet wasnt quite as good as i wouldve liked, still fairly decent but def not the best day. I dosed my Shred Matrix at 1 30, approx. 1 hour pre workout. The effect on energy seemed somewhat effected today, unsure as to why this was but i will continue to expirament and try to figure this out. Also this new workout that we are being forced to do is really F***ing up my Universe. I will try to have it posted tomorrow(will need to see coaches sheet, if he has one:fool2: ) its some crap tho using 3x10 for EVERYTHING and we did legs yesterday(Squat, deadlift, weighted step ups, Romanian Deadlift, and some core work) and today he incorporated in powerclean and other leg stuff...WTF!?!? also our split is mon. legs tue. arms wed. legs thurs. arms... and friday off. no break in there at all. As you can tell im not a happy person over this and will be trying to change something... SOON. Another thing is we're being made to do about 35 mns of fairly intense cardio... this is not what i had planned on during this cut... how can i keep this from wrecking my muscle? other than the obvious increase of cals
 
oh yes high school football workouts. haha they always suck. i want to know where the guys come up with them seriously....
 
ya no lie, it blows my mind... a friend and i tried to talk to him about at least making it 2 days on 1 off, but he "feels that its better to have friday off". So i guess the current plan is to overtrain like mofo's and then chill for three days to make it better... i should pry log this in the workout section, itd most likely become a mainstay of America's bodybuilding circle:toofunny:
 
That workout looks intense! 4 days straight plus cardio? man, you should be eating more, sleeping more and power housing veggies like a mad man to help with recovery.

ya, its pretty stupid IMO... but what i have to deal with for the time being. today was still very sore from monday but had a fairly decent workout, took Shred Matrix 1 hour pre-workout today and had fairly decent energy boost, much better than yesterdays still not sure as to what caused this, possibly absorption... but i have no idea. I do almost prefer taking the Shred Matrix in the morning though because the appetite is much more prominent when dosed this way.

im actually done, and am in our offseason for baseball. but i played center and defensive end, lol i know im a lil small but i used to always be fat and thats where i got stuck so when my sophomore year came around and i had lost 50 pounds i was left on the line... even tho ive gotten to where i run around a 4.6.. but its all good, d-end was def my position of choice tho
 
ya i really enjoyed it, i played noseguard some my sophomore year, and outside linebacker a lil my junior but d-end was always my main spot. gotta love the free shot at those qb's that arent lookin and tryin to throw lol
 
ok well today i dosed my shred matrix before breakfast, got some energy throughout the earlier part of the day... def not as pronounced as it has been, also seemed like the appetite suppressant in it had worn off around 3 30. Fairly good day tho, had a good workout, good being relative because i dont enjoy the program, but it felt good.

alright well today was a lil tough keepin up with everything, im in our school play (i know, what fun right? haha) and we did it once in the morning,once in the afternoon, and im bout to have to go back and do it again in about an hour... so the diet wasnt quite on par with what i like it to be, but thats ok, i think im gonna go ahead and make it my re-feed day as opposed to tomorrow. hopefully will have a lil more time later tonight to put up some more info, but after tonight im done with this whole play thing so should free up my evening a lot
 
Today went well, didnt have a lot goin on and just laid around lol thats nice to do every once in a while. I took my shred matrix before breakfast, def starting to notice a drop off in the energy and appetite suppressant, usually it drops off a lil after noon if i dose around 7 30, which is really not too bad. unfortunately today for some reason i didnt consume much water, recognized this fact when my urine looked like orange juice lol cant be lettin that happen again.

well i decided today to start usin two packs a day on workout days and one on days off. i dosed my first pack at around 8 this morning, effects gone by a lil after noon. dosed second pack around 1 15... still feelin some effects now.

energy today was good, but as i said before the energy from a pack is beginning to diminish.

seemed like libido was up today, im guessin because of the yohimbe in it.

had a decent leg workout, was upset towards the end tho by an angry coach who proceeded to make us run 1300 yards worth of sprints... just what i needed with my current diet... but oh well.

I have heard from a couple people that the energy effects build up a tolerance after a few weeks and I am starting to think of some ways to increase the effectiveness with dosing. I think for a killer fat loss run you could double dose for a week then take a week off and repeat, that coupled with a non stim fat burner would produce some solid results. Also I have a friend right now who is following a carb cycling diet and he only uses shred based on his carb intake for the day. For example he will take two packs on low carb days, 1 pack on moderate days, and none on high carb days. If you want to switch things up and experiment with your remaining stash of Shred please feel free to.

Brotha you cant beat this workout, ITS PURE GENIOUS FOR GETTING HUGE AND RIPPED, I personally wouldnt be suprised if you turned black and your name somehow changed to Ronnie Coleman, so do not doubt it!:nono: Haha im just kiddin it really sucks.lol Good job on the cut btw!
 
true statement lol it is def a winner.

today was first day off shred matrix, def noticed the lack of the appetite suppression, and seemed like libido was down a lil... im attributing that to the yohimbine.
 
hey guys, this has been my third day off Shred Matrix. Since ive been off im noticing more common food cravings(especially carbs lol) also the energy although it was diminishing, is missed in the gym. Im gonna take another 3-4 days off and then resume with two packs a day.

Diet has been good keeping it around the same, was unable to track it all today. Weight is at 182, im up a lil from where i was after i got sick, that dropped me about 6 lbs in a week.
 
day 5 with no shred matrix, def lookin forward to gettin back on. especially with xmas break comin up lol not a lot to report. had a decent workout today... even tho its a bad program:(
