Getting Huge.......Then getting Lean!

What seems to be the problem with ur shoulders? What are your 3 movements? I notice behind the neck smith is one, how low are you going?

Smith Behind the head, DB over head, and BB seated front. I stay between 20-30 RP because I dont want issues.

Top/mid ear. I just get a sharp painin the front of my shoulder. It has been on going since my freshman year at my juco. They changed my throwing motion and I went from having bicep tendonits to shoulder issues. I would, however, prefer the shoulder bain over the bicep tendonitis.

There may be some issues inside there but I played some self doctor and used some igf-1 on it for a while in the fall and in like 14days it felt back to 100%. Since then there have been good days and bad, sometimes being dictated by the way I sleep that night.

Honestly, when i used to train high volume, and flat bench i always had nagging shoulder probs.. Since dropping flat db a few years ago, and DC i have had NONE..(knock on wood)

Yeah I agree DC has you lifting heavy, but dropping the flat bench, unless I am on a hammerstrength has made a world of difference for my shoulder. Imprezivr6 Thats a nice looking pit you git as an avy!!!

So you dont do flat DB becnh either?

Yea I'm going to drop flat BB bench all together, maybe all BB movements and stick with DB and smith machines.......oh and Hammer Strength.

Personally i have been sticking to allot of DB and Hammer strength movements, and i feel great. My progression, and gains have been good too.

Well I have now. When I do DB bench if I stay above 8 reps I really dont have any shoulder issues at all. I may use Flat DB as a "wrench" so to speak with chest now.

Im going to stick with Incline Smith, DB Flat, DB Incline/Semi Incline (between flat and true incline), and Hammer Decline. I was a big fan of dips until these shoulder issues crept up.
 
I'm using HS Decline right now. I forgot how much I enjoyed that piece of equipment. I love that squeeze at the top of the positive contraction. Yumskies!

werd. IF you keep your DB presses at 20-30RP you should be good to go...
 
Well Im splitting training up into 2 sessions each day. I sit around waaaaay too much during the day I decided.

I trained chest this morning and back later in the evening.

I'm pooped but I like it. After a dirty carb filled sunday my weight is @ 201!!!!!

Holding some water but im above 200 and stil have 6 weeks of bulking left! I'd like to get to a solid 205 and slowly come down without really changeing my diet too much. I just want to focus on cardio and see where that takes me. I eat super clean now except for sundays :D

I bought some olympic DB's. The ones you can load by urself since I dominated out 100's yesterday and 2day :D

I can fit about 200lbs on each(using 10lb plates), no way in hell I'll ever have to put that much weight but for $60 total, a nice pick up IMO.

Regarding your workouto above, this isn't DC style? Are you taking a break from it now, or ditching it, or?

Nah just cruseing. I may take one more week off then get back to blasting I dont know yet.

I dont have pics I do not have a camera at the moment. My ex has just about everything in agreement that she got zero of my 401K :)

Shoulder is feeling better all of my buddies say this is the biggest and leanest they have ever seen me. Like I've been "larger" but wasnt as lean and vice versa....get what I mean?

I lost a few lbs last week. Im on more of a keto diet and I had almost no appetie for whatever reason and Im back down to 196ish. Really pisses me off I can feel the 6lb weight loss.
