Waxy Maize Truth

I was recently asked why I didn’t carry waxy maize. The carbohydrate that some supplement company’s claim is digested faster than maltodextrin and dextrose. Here's why I dont.

Fact #1. Waxy Maize is digested slower than maltodextrin or dextrose and even slower than white bread. You have published studies proving this.

Reason #2. Waxy Maize is NOT the same thing as Vitargo. Idiotic supplement company’s that sell waxy maize do this because initially Vitargo was MADE from waxy maize. Since then it has changed and is made from a different carb source. Thus the unoriginal wanna-be supplement company’s were like, “Hmmm waxy maize, lets copy this idea, what the ingredients say waxy maize, it’s the same thing!!””. Then the brain surgeons called up major corn company’s and the corn company’s were like, “waxy maize sure we got that!!” They (the corn manufacturers’) must have been laughing their asses off wondering how dumb supplement company’s were for selling waxy maize starch.

Reason #3. Vitargo is a patented carb and CANNOT, I repeat CANNOT be used by ANYONE but a company called GENr8 located in California. Yes these idiotic supplement company’s CAN sell waxy maize, BUT LIKE I SAID IT IS NOT VITARGO AND ITS INFERIOR TO WHITE BREAD BY ALMOST ½!!!

Well, there you have it, short and sweet. The FINAL answer on waxy maize.

Finally if you still dont believe me feel free to call Genr8 in California. They will also tell you the TRUTH about waxy maize.
 
Ok...am I missing something here? Like...the relevance of this e-mail and what it has to do with anything else? Unless you are a person who is trying to copy Vitargo and argue about WMS, what's the point of it?

i posted an excerpt from bodybuilding.com a while back talking about vitargo vs waxy maize.

they give guidelines on how to tell if your wms is fake.

basically if you do i think 70 grams in water, it should cloud the water, but it shoudl sit at the bottom (high molecular weight).

if it dissolves completely, then it's crap because it's like dextrose and maltodextrin.

from what I've heard from most people here, the carbslam stuf seems to obey the correct properties for being genuine vitargo. I have some now, but I have no reason to put 70 grams into water because i only take 20-25 grams at a time being very carb sensitive.
 
Because I bought true protein wms and not sure if its the real deal.
 
I just want to say i use wms, and have had awesome results, i ate loads of white bread and couldnt do a pooh.
 
Well when I run out I would just switch over to that VITARGO wms brand. With the barly or what ever as the source.
 
I met the guys from Genr8 Vitargo at the GNC show in may...(really good guys) they had a few studies that outlined the difference between WMS and Vitargo. They only had about 2-3 studies that they were quoting... and as we all know... almost all studies have a host of flaws to them.

Product seemed good... but the price is out there. $36 gets you 10 servings... $36 of WMS would last you quite some time.
You have to decide whether or not the pricier technology is worth more to your carb needs.
 
i have talked to vitagro's ceo prez or whoever before on the as subject i work for a suplement company and told him i personally use waxy maize and he feed me all that BS too. i am sure he's right but i am still not paying $3 per serving for vitagro. that and the fact he was basically calling me moron for following what i have been doing which is obviously working, and the free jug i never got to try it out.

i assume that came for the same people cause it smells like. those vitargo guys are a bunch of wannabe trackstars cause they were i town for some marathon and i found them to be quite annoying as all they do is regurgitate the same lines. i am intune with my body enough to feel the difference of waxy maize and will continue to do so as i get 10x for the money!
